Anyone not drunk off the Lebron hype-juice knows, if he ain't knocking down his jumper, the best way to defend him is sag off of him, and pack the lanes ...
...or have a competent rim protector who can make him second guess his attempts. If Lebron can drive to the basket AND there is no rim protector, he is a basketball god. Period. Sag off of him, and now he is in position to do things he ain't overly comfortable doing.

Lebron is not a great one on one player, and teams far too often just give him what he wants. Thats partially why this new age of basketball is a joke to me. I've seen teams use the right strategy defensively against Lebron, and it worked almost every time. Once again, if he's on that night with the jumper, then .... oh, well. However, he is not a consistent jump shooter, so you just have to chance it.
