Official BGOL Crypto Currency Thread ★★★★★

My tier 3 verification is in progress.

Kraken does have limited coins. Now that other coins are interesting I'm going g to look at other exchanges.

This was in reply to bxclark.

What's the deal with Kraken fellas? I have Tier 3 verification but it doesn't appear hat many of you use it. Why is that? I have about 42k ripple and just bought a quarter of a Bitcoin to invest in something else. Not sure about DOGE and it seems I'm limited with the other coins that Kraken trades.. Any feedback or suggestions as to what to do or where to point me?

to dab in other coins I'm using bittrex...it's run out of seattle...doesn't seem to be as popular as kraken and def nowhere near as popular as poloniex...I'm hoping they're more reliable as a result of handling less traffic

:money::lol:

I haven't yet though man, I'm just letting it keep multiply. I'm trying to make all the profit I can out of this and plus I don't really need the money like that.

Shit same here. Just wondering if anyone here has went through the process. That's the number 1 question I get after telling people about it. "How do you get your money out?" I know in theory how, just wanted to know if anyone has actually done it.

change your xrp to bitcoin.
You can send bitcoin to usd via PayPal using coinbase.

I did it before... The route I took was transfer xrp to bitcoin in kraken then transfer the bitcoin back to Coinbase. Coinbase to my bank acccount. Now that kraken is allowing USD/xrp then I'm sure you wouldn't even have to do the conversion anymore. Correct me if I'm wrong on the new method.

Thanks! Great to know that someone actually went through the process

The interface is a major turn off but it works. All the flash might be a big reason why poloniex sucks as far as actually working.

Bought Ripple on Kraken no problem last night

No yall gotta stop buying ripple on those other sites and use gatehub. It's 2-3 cents cheaper at all times. That's as big difference at the end of the day. Ripple transfers to other wallet address the fastest as well. I see they are going try to replace Bitcoin in the grand scheme of things. Don't sell your ripple fellas and buy it at the cheap place.

Now that I think about it...It's very similar to the way Coinbase adopted Lightcoin and ETH.

Cutting out the middle man/fees of converting to XRP to BTC and just straight to USD is a big.deal.

And what do y'all mean by exit strategy? Say XRP hits $10.00. Are y'all cashing in all y'all ripple.

What if in a few years ripple is $400 a coin just because Bitcoin itself exploded.

I would be sick.I think you gotta stay in thr Crypto game until you can't make $$$ anymore

I feel you I did buy some Ripple because I want to have some coins in different places not just one spot. But eventually I'll have very little XRP out in exchanges/online wallets and the majority of it on my ledger.

So after I buy my currency I let it sit in the trader? I.e. Bitstamp? Is that the same as a wallet?

just randomly looking @ other coins...gamecredits was @ $0.000010 in late 2014

idk if it was available to purchase then but $1k would've gotten you 200M coins

it's over fucking $2 today :scream:

That's crazy but dogecoin's issue is the supply, has an insane amount. Unless dogecoin somehow removes some of that, a quick buck is only in its future.

Yeah I ordered the offline wallet just for that. I don't like my money just sitting in an exchange like polo I would rather have it in a wallet.

When that time comes we need to have a discussion :money:
I've always known of different exit strategies from past past endeavors that I've experienced; but i just gotta read up to make sure certain laws haven't changed; but the one good benefit from Republicans being in office is: they always are down for rich people hiding their money; that Panama paper shit was amazing but those people only got caught because of a rat attorney; but things like that are still going on; so there's always a way:lol:

Is there a way to get USD into Gatehub or do you have to transfer bitcoin or xrp there in order to use it??

Yes I wire money directly from Chase. However, $40 flat fee from chase, plus a $15 flat fee from GateHub. But if you are depositing a few thousand bucks the price is ok. Takes 2-3 days to receive the wire.

The big plus is that usd deposit allows you to purchase bitcoin about $300 cheaper as well from GateHub and that's big money.

Ok, what are the steps? It says I have to have 50 XRP in there in order to do anything.

Something is there man. I'm digging...but I'm seeing (in lots of different places) people saying they're getting on the digibyte train. I'm trying to understand what's going to be the driver of demand. Something has to drive demand.

It's basically Bitcoin done right

I believe you are exactly right regarding Kraken.
