Official BGOL Crypto Currency Thread ★★★★★

once I hit my target number of digi, I need to figure out a way to get Dr Truth to say Digi aint shit
RIGHT!! Cats are saying XRP is cheaper on GATEHUB like 5 cents cheaper.......soooo buy on GATEHUB then Sell on polo for a quick profit. Wondering why more people arent doing that??

yep...I saw a 7 cent difference yesterday (like a 15% difference)... if you guy and flip and do in a decent amount, you could just take 15 percent off the top every day.. flip $10,000 of it daily and just take your $1500... might not seem like a lot but do that times 30 and you've made a nice amount for the month.

Is transferring between exchanges that easy?

When I originally transferred my XRP from Kraken to Polo I had to wait like 2 days. For some reason it didn't show up automatically and I had to file a ticket with Polo to get my XRP to show up in my Polo wallet

and with the way I see people complaining about the way Polo is handling tickets in the trollbox FUCK THAT

I wonder what drove NEM. It's had a very similar rise as XRP over the last month.. was 2 cents a month ago and now it's 22 cents.

I have no idea man. I hate speculating on price. All I know is that demand should rise significantly and then price always responds to demand. It's being integrated into maybe the most popular consumer game right now: Minecraft. That should probably attract other gaming companies as well. Just read some Korean gaming companies were working on an implementation. It will never have the same appeal as Ripple as Ripple was created specifically to solve a problem in a massive market and they have an excellent team/support behind them... Digibyte doesn't have an all star team but it's a good one.. they've been building for 3 years... have a decent community behind it and now they're about to start rolling out some apps. I think it has move upside than most of the other altcoins in that market cap range.

All I know is them niggas are rabid as fuck. I was on twitter asking a general question why people felt digibyte was underrated related to it's value, I had 4-5 dudes come in my mentions repping digibyte like gangs repping colors.

I copped 700,000 at 70sat.

I'm cool with letting it sit. I already made a mistake trying to play daytrader with my ripple. Not making that mistake again

My long term bag $XRP, $DGB, $STR,

Yes transfering XRP from gatehub to polo takes mins at most. Also here is the one big trick about buying bitcoin at Gatehub the usd to bitcoin price is cheaper than exchanging the other currencies. At one point BTC was 1400 at gatehub while btc was 1800 at polo. Right now the price is 1688 vs 1988 $300 difference but only in the usd to btc paring.

The time complaints is exactly why xrp wins

Will not take the time to settle things it does now

It's easy for me to understand ripple's rise. What does anyone here know about NEM. If you had put $5,000 into NEM three months ago, it would be worth $175,000. I'm about to research the team, tech, etc... but there is a key there. It's a rare high-float coin (8 billion coins) that was able to reach a multi-billion dollar market cap like Ripple...but doing so with far less media attention. Is this just the sign of a crazy bull market (or bubble) or is there something else fundamentally driving it.... because if you figure that out, you might be able to spot these coins early and repeat what you did with Ripple. Ripple is a much easier one to understand (just with the fact that Google was supporting was going to help). I knew Ethereum was going to be a success because I studied it well before it launched. I told @largebillsonlyplease about Eth right away because I learned about the tech behind it before it launched... but the key is identifying this more obscure coins before or right at the cusp of breaking out. If you can get some pattern recognition going, some of you guys who are making a killing on Ripple could keep repeating the process (but with much larger amounts).

Something is there man. I'm digging...but I'm seeing (in lots of different places) people saying they're getting on the digibyte train. I'm trying to understand what's going to be the driver of demand. Something has to drive demand.

Man I'm not missing the next coin. I gotta start doing research. I missed that Pascal coin ETH. Ripple has done well for me but I could have alot more.

Man I saw this thread 14 days ago. Since then I jumped on ripple I have all my friends now into cryptocurrency and I am up 5k thanks to XRP. I tried to buy at 5cents but stupid verification took forever. None the less if someone said they had an 11 cent investment would I say no??? I can play the 5 year waiting game if need too. I am proud of myself for jumping on it asap something told me to check out bgol I had not been on the site for 4 months wow, talk about timing.

Big up's to everyone on this thread, this shit gonna be a game changer.

So I'm reading up on NEM. It was formed by some users on bitcointalk. There is nothing spectacular about the tech from what I'm reading. It was a fork of NTX and then the rewrote it.. forming a partnership with a Japanese exchange really help jumpstart it.. but no exceptional team members or funding.. not seeing lots of great news...nothing like ripple or bitcoin type of media fever.

But I'm starting to see some markers. Before it broke out, you can see growing trends on twitter, reddit group community growth, etc. We need to be able to identify "markers"... it was something I learned when identifying breakout startups... you have hard data and then you have "signs" that let you know something is happening. If you can spot those, you can spot something before it takes up or possibly takes off (was how I was able to notice snapchat before most people even know it existed).

Man. I've made money on Bitcoin but I knew about Bitcoin shortly after it launched. I knew about Ethereum at least a year before it launched...and I mean I literally read the white paper on it. I literally read about it shortly after Vitalik Buterin announced it. The problem is that I was more interested in the technology and its implications more than the market. I should have known to invest in those. The breakout coins often have some type of very new technical implementation that's solving a real problem that a large market has or will have (and the surest sign if when they get a significant investment before launching). The coins that never break out are usually useless forks that don't solve any problems. Those are the pump and dump coins (like Doge).

Yeah I only have 7781 xrp, but kraken had it valued at 1693 a coin. I was a multimillionaire for about 2 mins.

That was Master Fard Muhamamd telling you the FUTURE Price of XRP Ripple, breh. Im not far behind you in amount of ripple. You are going to be a multimillionaire from your XRP Ripple investment. Then you will donate 10 percent to my Mosk and one third to kogalee who is ME! Deal with it and let it alone! :hmm:

Stellar has a future. It's solving a real problem and it has the backing of the one of the most valuable private companies in Silicon Valley: Stripe

I don't know about this company. Have you read the background on their ceo? Trust me, He is VERY SHADY, breh. I mean just LOOK at him! :smh:

I ain't trustin no company ran by a money howngry and blood thirsty mothafucka like that! :smh:

I totally forgot about the 20 xrp i had in Gatehub. I really don't what to do with them. I got some in my Ripple cold wallet offline. And I got some sitting on Polo.
I should just sit tight on all of them huh?

Yes. Hold that shit like you No Limit the SOLDIER! And while you at it and keep on blowin dosisher! UUUUUUHHHHNNNN!!!

From what little I've read it's one of the three coins (btc, xrp, xem) that investors in Japan are aware of via previously announced partnerships. Japan recently passed a law that will roll back taxes on buying crypto currency for citizens that should come in effect around July. Should see more market traction for those three after.

I'll forever love Digibyte but I sold a week ago and wish I hadn't.

Now this Minecraft news is intriguing but why can't I find any official news report about it?

The only thing I saw was a third party developer integrating DigiBytes for use in Minecraft. Does that mean Microsoft has a partnership with Digibyte?

Microsoft explicitly endorses Ethereum and is a partner with Syscoin as a part of the Microsoft Azure shop. I'd expect that partnership to be officially out by now?

Ill probably buy back in seeing how its trending, thankfully I have half a Milly SC from 105 sats.

And Syscoin is for real, the Japanese and Chinese fuck with it heavy. If they get an Alibaba partnership its a wrap...

ya I have some homework to do this weekend...I'll be looking @ NEM syscoin digibyte burst and reddcoin

So this is just coming to me. It's really not the same thing buying through dollars or btc. I notice when I do the conversion math, I get slightly more XRP with dollars.

Anyone have any tips about expediting wire transfer or do I have just have to do btc for those same day transactions?

Edit: Wow, just scrolled up and the exact thing is being discussed. Oh yeah, and the time wait is exactly why banks need a thing such as Ripple. I'm going to see where I can get the best conversion besides indacoin, coinmama. I'll let you guys know what I find.

Is there a quick start guide on the board for people that want to get into investing in digital currency. Im pissed i didnt scoop a shit ton of Ripple when it was .005, but I can't dwell in the past. I gotta sit down and pick up some today.

What's the deal with Kraken fellas? I have Tier 3 verification but it doesn't appear hat many of you use it. Why is that? I have about 42k ripple and just bought a quarter of a Bitcoin to invest in something else. Not sure about DOGE and it seems I'm limited with the other coins that Kraken trades.. Any feedback or suggestions as to what to do or where to point me?
