I moved the majority o my XRP to another spot. they charged like .15 % I think that's less than 1 %
man you are right....I had to go ballistic on the mods in troll box and have them look things up. then they came back and said the wallet had reset which is why my xrp didn't originally transfer. I to reinitiate the transaction and it finally went through.
but Polo is going to lose a lot of customers behind this "growing pain" bc real money on the line and there are some real sharks out here that aint trying to hear that fucking up they money symphony. .............its going to be some dread head dudes in poloniex lobby in Delaware if they don't stop the madness.

I have put a disclaimer on the Original post recommending individuals to transfer their bitcoins and ripple to bitstamp instead of poloneix, While im sure everyone will get their coins out of poloniex I think its important to recommend other exchanges at this point.

I agree with Spider-Man. I been on BGOL since 1996 and have never ever even used the ignore option for anyone.....but cokely_muhammad is about to be the first. When its time to bullshit....lets bullshit. but 2 things I never bullshit about is my family and my money. I don't know if he is blk/wht, don't care. i dont even care about people who doubt the validity of XRP bc you need balance (naysayers/haters) to keep you from scope locking into a particular perspective.

Ripple May Announce Extended XRP Supply Lock-up In June
A lot of people are keeping a close eye on what will happen to XRP over the coming weeks. The currency set a new all-time high yesterday, but was dumped hard ever since Poloniex started having “issues” again. This is the third time the exchange suddenly goes blank when XRP is gaining in value. However, it looks like there may be some good news for XRP moving forward, as it is possible the team will announce a coin lock-up soon.
Ripple May Be Moving Toward A Coin Lock-up
Although the following information has not been officially confirmed right now, it poses some interesting trains of thought. To be more precise, there is a rumor Ripple is planning to announce a big move in June of 2017 that could send major shockwaves through the community. It is believed the team will announce an extensive coin lock-up agreement.
In doing so, the Ripple team aims to address any lingering concerns people may have regarding the available XRP supply. Right now, that supply is quite large, although it will not continue to increase any further. In fact, the XRP will gradually decrease, as Ripple transactions using the XRP tokens will result in small amounts of tokens getting destroyed. This effectively reduces the available coin supply over time, albeit it will not see any major drops overnight.
The goal is to make the individual value of each XRP higher more precious over time. Right now, XRP is seeing a significant boost in market share and individual token value. Even though a lot of the positive momentum was undone during yesterday’s Poloniex issues, the market remains very bullish right now. This is quite intriguing, considering XRP has seen a lot of trading these past few days.
The official news regarding the future of XRP – assuming an announcement like this will take place to begin with – is expected to made at the upcoming Consensus 20107 conference. Ripple CTO Stefan Thomas will talk about different consensus mechanisms during the event. If the team successfully manages to address the doubts and uncertainties regarding the XRP supply, things can get very interesting from here on out. It is unclear if XRP can continue its bullrun, though, but for now, there is no reason to despair just yet.

I got another 1.6 BTC coming and I guess I'll use Kraken to purchase XRP when it hits Coinbase. Thanks in advance. bro just open up another account on another exchange. you can transfer your xrp to another exchange pretty easily. I moved most of my portfolio away from polo and am exploring bitfinnex and bitstamp.

It was easy for me.
I was able to move all my XRP to Bittrex before I even started the verification process.
Just open an account, got to Wallets, find XRP, hit the plus sign to deposit, go to Polo, do a withdrawal. When moving XRP, you gotta put in the address for the wallet AND a tag number that Bittrex will give you.
Then you can move your XRP without having to convert it BTC.
You can have your stuff already in there while you're getting your account verified.
looking @ this chart basically any place other than poloniex is a better alternative since it will handle far less traffic

My question is this: on Polo my limit is $7000, does that apply to the value of my XRP? In other words, does that $7000 limit apply to withdrawing XRP to send to Gatehub (I.e., will I have to withdraw $7000 worth of XRP per day?) Or am I over thinking this?
yes it does. which is why I have to withdraw 2k worth of xrp every day to bittrex lol.

I saw that coming with the way the alts were running up over the weekend. When you see those gains going into overdrive you know a major pullback is coming because everyone dumps their profits into bitcoin
