Okay, so let's say I have 200,000 Ripple in Poloniex; But due to the connectivity issues of late, as well as the prospect of future government investigations, I want to open a Gatehub account and move my Ripple to Gatehub. How much will Poloniex charge me for withdrawing? And how much will Gatehub charge me for depositing? In other words, how much Ripple can I anticipate losing?

ANYONE that has done the same recently please chime in. Thanks in advance.

I dont think gatehub charges you at all but poloniex might charge you .25 percent
 
Im going to be 100 percent honest, I dont think anyone can even withdraw money from poloneix right now. I got a friend who has been trying to get his shit out for the last 2 days and they keep delaying it.

my new strategy is to buy only on Kraken and bittrex. Waiting on verification on Kraken so I can buy ripple with USD

I don't understand why one would need a middleman to use a Bitcoin ATM.? I use them frequently(it controls my impulse urges)

That 15% fee is bullshit. On the web they are boasting 7% user fee.
 
Maybe a dumb question is there difference between buying XRP with USD as opposed to BTC? I noticed that the percentage change in the price is different between the currencies.

Currently I'm buying BTC through a third party into my Polo wallet and buying XRP that way (storing some of it on my desktop wallet). I have a Bitstamp account but I'm not sure how I would go about making a international wire. Would I have to do that AT the bank?

Yeah. I'm seeing lots of people complaining about it in the troll box. I've never put any money in there and wouldn't... reminds me too much of Mt Gox

Still just bitcoin. I just purchased more BTC this morning. But I think I'm going to make a move on some altcoin (ripple included) if the red continues... a lot of blood over the last 24 hours.

Is he moving major BTC? I haven't had any issue. I moved a chunk of BTC to Bittrex this morning.
