I dont think it's an underrated Draft move at all..we need a TE...been saying this for about a year now...I'm glad we addressed the Defense though because it was needed...As far as WR...I really dont think its that big of a deal, because I'm expecting Brice Butler to take a big step this year and then between him, Beasley, and Bryant, i think we can take an Isaiah Ford(Hokies!) in the lower rounds.

I think they like what they have at tight end. They like Swaim and Hanna. And they surely love some Witten. They need to give those guys a shot first before they waste resources on tight end.

Yeah that Second hurt. I'd actually give this total draft a B+... mainly because this was the first year in for ever that we actually drafted in the main areas that we desperately needed. And didn't make any reaches.... based on how the draft played out.
The only thing that does hurt is giving up that extra 3rd and a 4th to move up to get the kid from western Kentucky. I fucking love him as a player... he is basically a thicker Kendal Wright. I just had a feeling that he might have been if we stayed.
I spent some time looking up Smith and he fits the J Rob model (a model that I love) he was productive in college over a 3 year span.. I love how J Rob drafts guys that produced.
