@largebillsonlyplease you agree that at this point GS play better offensively when Kerr is not there? Like is it at a point these cats coach themselves and run plays and sets on the fly and Draymond directing on the defensive end?

Because if history shows GS went 39-4 when Kerr wasn't on the side line and pretty much swept Portland in 5 mins of the first quarter of game 4.. if they play like that 16-0 in the playoffs looks highly possible

Funny thing is Bro, as a Heat fan you are one of the most objective sports posters on here. These Dudes are a joy to watch and must see TV at this point. Thing is, for them to literally not skip a beat and in some way play better with KD out is testament of how great a system they run and how great the players are no matter how much hate they get. JaVales emergence is the major story for me, and if Brown utilizes him as he is supposed to they are REALLY going to be a problem... :smh:

That's the biggest take away from this whole thing McGee looking like the biggest steal every and making Bogut look like it was a no brainer to get rid of him. GS said McGee is most effective in 3-5 min spurts because he exerts so much energy on both ends of the floor.. and now he's a much better finisher than Bogut as well..

Plus that saves him to be more impactful at ends of games. With them shooting so many mid and long range jumpers at times, his athletic ability and quickness is gonna be HUGE chasing down rebounds, etc. Hes an underrated shot blocker too.

:roflmao3: :roflmao2::roflmao: :lol:

Cavs have a shit record without Lebron. Kyrie can't lead a team. He's a piece. Been following since he came to the Cavs. He's has killer instinct. Can close out. But can't carry a team.

I agree Kyrie can't lead a team, but he's a bit more than 'a piece'. Kyle Korver is 'a piece'. Kyrie is too crucial to championship aspirations to simply be 'a piece'.

While Lebron was the MVP last year in the Finals ...

...Kyrie was clearly playing at a very high level, too. 'Pieces' don't do what Kyrie did in the Finals. Pieces don't close out games. There got to be another label for a player like Kyrie.

As long as his injuries aren't the type that take him off the court for long periods of time, he's good. Kobe was like that. Something was always wrong with him, but he made it work.

Kobe never missed the extended time Kyrie has until the end of his career; Kobe was nothing like Kyrie; Kyrie stays hurt and supposedly he hurt now; Again lets not take Kyrie overboard but you cant seem to help yourself; dude has never won nothing without LBJ, NOTHING!!!; and its not like his teams have even been competitive; on top of that, he hasnt done anything that other great/good guards have done before him; hes not the best pg in the league right now; hes not the best guard in the league right now; dude is a good offensive guard and thats it; Stop trying to make this guy out to be something that hes not; the funny thing is if GS hadnt choke last year, no one would even be talking about Kyrie right now.....

Pay close attention to the careers of these new-aged guards. They're reaching their peaks later.

Kobe just had a career year scoring wise. This is around the same age - i.e. 25 - that Steph, Russ, and Westbrook started to really hit their stride.

Kyrie's offensive skills suggest he hasn't reached his peak in production yet. You've seen Steph, Russ, and Westbrook all do these in the past few seasons that NO ONE would have predicted from them prior.

Why would Kyrie be different? He had a career year, and he just turned 25. He'll be even better next season, so on and so forth.

They play great when he's not there because they all feel they need to step it up in order to compensate. That's what we see when he's not there. "We don't have him to fall back on so we have to make sure we run it precisely every time or else"
And the main thing is. It's HIS SYSTEM.
so even if they "coach themselves" they're running everything HE taught them to do they're not creating a system on their own or running something rogue that has better results. Every coach who's taken over since he's been fighting the illness has been running HIS plays.

McGee is the energy. He hustles 10000000% when he's on the court for every loose ball every rebound every shot block every single one so playing him in spurts makes sense but also getting him involved does as well offensively. he's a great finisher has soft hands and can shoot free throws fairly well.

Well shit I don't think he's gonna retire but I do think he will limit his travels with the team.. prob conduct practices and the like and film sessions but he won't be there for in game coaching.. folk calling on him to retire but he won't.. I think your management gonna give him all the time in the world to heal properly but with him not there now mofos look like they bout to go on a 16-0 tour.. :smh:

He don't need to retire. that's crap. Minimum he can still coach concepts and stuff and just not go to the games.
And he'd instantly get a spot in the front office or on the coaching staff if he had to hang it up but there's no reason to force him out when he's just getting started

That's why I didn't understand Barkelys logic saying Kerr should retire smh

Damn, niggas shitting on Kyrie like he ain't the most offensively skilled PG of all times. No PG shoot, dribble, and pass collectively at the levels this guy can in history. Fuck that. Even defensively, he got the ability, he just don't use it.
Kyrie doesn't use his brain all the time, how many times do you see him attack the paint getting surrounded by four players on the opposition with Korver on the perimeter wide open and instead of Kyrie passing the ball to the open guy with the better shot, he decides to take on the more difficult shot..
This is why LeBron is out the game Kyrie numbers often suffer, due to the fact that smart defenses know they can collapse on him hard with out worrying about him taking advantage of what the defense is giving him..
Good thing for Irving he does possess the skills to make a lot of these shots, but if you want to win a championship you often need to play a lot smarter and less spectacular.

Those players are better and they are less injured that's why..Kyrie body is brittle and he's not getting better; plus those players have actually won games; something that Kyrie has not

Man if Toronto loses this game and series. :smh: That's Dwayne's ass yo. :smh:
