My thing was it wasn't all his fault. And it wasn't Durant shot 3-37 one of them games too
shared blame. Also I don't blame Durant for leaving I'd say 45% of it was westbrook the rest was it was groundhog day and Donovan is a shitty ass coach
it's evident he is shitty. he's a poor man's scott brooks and that's saying something. I gotta actually give scott brooks credit that's how bad donovan is man.

russ shot them out this game tonight ain't no caping to be had. i missed majority of it but caught the end where he lost it.

i missed the beginning of the warriors game but caught the middle of the 3rd quarter and on.

Nah Bruh. He's just the opposite. Instead of letting money (Carmelo) being his driver he used common sense. Folks on here talk about how OKC took GS to seven games. They talk about leaving OKC to join the team that beat you. Truth is that is some rudimentary ass shit and here's what Durant sees that his detractors don't see:

1) This isn't his first rodeo. When Durant, Russell also had a young James Harden they won the Western Conference Finals. They should have been representing the West for years to come. They didn't. Why? Because OKC who had Harden's rights allowed him to leave because they didn't want to match Houston's offer which was $400k higher. Put yourself in Durant's shoes.

2) Years later they're no longer the best team, San Antonio has won another championship and are the best out West with GS coming up.

3) GSW now are the West and you're finally ready to compete. You take this team to seven games and lose. What happens? OKC management decides to break up the team by trading Ibaka because they don't want to pay him. Again, what does Durant think about that?

4) Then there's Westbrook.

Bottom line. Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see OKC ain't interested in winning if it affects profits. Durant was nothing more than a instrument to put people in the seats. Look at how they've spun the Westbrook narrative.

Durant was smart to leave OKC.
