cuz...aint it exhausting always being so f*cking right?

damn this CANNOT be happenstance or coincidence.

Is there a strong black couple on ANY of these current comic books or sci fi shows?

So the 3 leaders are now Rick, Ezekiel and Maggie. Wonder how they're going to defend all 3 fronts now, its also going to be difficult traveling on the road between those communities with Saviors on the roads more dangerous than ever. Liked the tribute to Glenn at the end with Maggie's speech. But where the fuck is Dr. Dre at? I was hoping he was going to come outa nowhere with the big shootout at the end

Dre has to have a contract dispute and now is prolly dead.

As negan was running I was thinking y'all have to stay on him and don't let him get back home.

I swear if I ever happened to be in the same room as Sasha and Iris from the Flash?

lawd have mercy.

Star Trek: Discovery has finally revealed its lead character’s name and rank.

After months of silence on the matter, the CBS All-Access series announced on Monday that The Walking Dead actress Sonequa Martin-Green will play First Officer Michael Burnham.

A First Officer is the second in command on a starship, just below the captain. Martin-Green’s character was originally described by executive producer Bryan Fuller as a lieutenant commander, but in the Trek-verse that rank can also be the ship’s First Officer (so perhaps she’s both). Star Trek: Discovery marks the first time the lead character in a Trek series hasn’t been a ship’s captain, which Fuller noted gives the series a chance to tell a different kind of story. Some sites have previously assumed her character’s name was “Rainsford,” which was a codename put out by the production.

This last episode....but more importantly the damn season, just a bunch of filler, this shit gonna dry up soon, and damn it, can any black people survive ?

I usually enjoy watching the walking dead. But I stopped watching half way through the season. I ended up binge watching so I can get to the finale. This shit is getting ridiculous. How many times is rick group gonna fall for the okey doke.

Funny from another site...

As someone who stopped watching at the end of season 4 I’m going to just guess and people can tell me if I’m accurate or not:
The main cast fought back and got captured again.
Random twist that really makes no sense saves them.
A B-list character dies in an attempt to add weight but without sacrificing a major star.
Big CGI shot to grab social media attention.
Big Bad survives again to drag it out for another half season.
Ends on cliffhanger with Rick saying something about fighting back or some generic shit.
Remaining fans overlook the previous set of filler episodes because there was a single awesome scene.

This could apply to Fear The Walking Dead also..

Quote from Scott Gimple about Season 8:

“I say it’s going to be bigger, it’s going to be more intense. I say these things and I’ve meant them every year and I think we’ve actually accomplished that,"

"This year, same thing. More intense. The first 4 episodes will melt people’s minds and break their televisions.”

He nearly said the same damn thing about Season 7 after the uproar over the Season 6 cliffhanger, and we got some of the most boring TV out of TWD in recent memory. Source link is below.

I just don't understand what more do you all want out of this show?

Out of all of the good TV that is out there, which I know you watch some of, are you suggesting that the show runners of TWD cannot do any better? Even though it is linked to the source material, they can't write a better script or improve pacing? Do you think this season actually lived up to the hype that Gimple and others involved in the show said it would? If so, please explain. If not, then how can you not see this new quote from Gimple and think that he's full of shit right now?

Every show runner full of shit to keep a check.

And like I said earlier the pacing is a network thing. All Amc shows are slow paced. (Including breaking bad) .

The show is closing in rapidly to where the comic is, and they are going to have a dragon ball z freeza saga issue on there hands.

its following the comics' plot points but that episode was fucking horrible
whoever directed didn't know how to shoot or edit action coherently
everyone looked horrible -
I haven't seen that many people shooting with no one getting hit or killed since GiJoe (all that's missing is red and blue lasers)

dude even pulled the Cobra Commander move
2jdfbde.gif

seven semi auto rifles shooting and not one hits the truck or anyone in it

that finger was from AMC to the fans watching

I couldn't believe that shit with the finger. Watched certain parts again and the shit is even more unbelievable. :smh:

 @ Rick when top top chick said she wanted to fuck. Rick is thinking umm, bitch, you look like Rick Ocasik (early 80's reference some will get).

As much as I still love the show, I agree with most of the criticism about the writing and pacing this season. Showrunner HAS to realize that you need to give viewers something a few times during a season. Outside of Glen and Abraham getting deaded in ep. 1, there were really no "Oh Shit!!!" moments. The finale was...watchable but badly done compared to the battle at the prison, the battle at Terminus and the fall of Herschel's farm (and the walker attack at the mountain camp). Game of Thrones has lots of lulls but there are always some ohhh shit moments.

One thing I kinda dug was seeing fuckin one eyed Carl being Jason Bourne with that gun after Sascha jumped on Negan. He got off like 4 shots before anybody else made a move if I recall correctly.

For one, stop with the pointless back stories. How about they show or explain why grown ass men are bowing to Negan. How did that get started? This new group, why do they talk and look like that? Whose idea was that? How about we get a black character that doesn't act like a hoe? And why the hell did the tiger attack the goons and not Negan? What was Saschas plan? What if Negan wasnt standing right there, and instead they put the coffin in front of Carl?

Just horrible writing all around. Start with that.

i want the tiger to not know exactly who to attack.

i want daryl to run out of ammo.

i want negan to at least get a fleshwound as the primary target on a battlefield.

i want carl to do something or die.

Family it's TV, with a hella implausible premises, that ain't trying to save the world or win Emmys.

Take it as face value

this is a dope way to look at it but... dont all the communities have order without a sociopath as a leader?

None of them lead as many people as Negan or is as good a leader as Negan is.

Negan controls savages, who only behave like assholes when he is not around if you think about. That why I say order comes in cause he keeps the law, and nips shit in the bud before it happens.

The rest of them or more reactive to situations

hmm... w/ that being said...

if you can rank leadership on a 1-5 scale w/ 5 being a great leader, where you u rank negan, rick, the king and others?

i'd put rick above negan because he doesnt lead with fear but i would definitely rank negan up there. worst i'd say the coward from the hilltop.

Out of the 4 things I named I guess it's relative to what you feel is more important to you in their situation.

Order offers security
Survival teaches you to fend for yourself
Hope puts you in a better mental state
The Future helps you puts someone else's needs ahead of yours. (Maggie's hilltop)

In their situation to me Negan would be 5, cause the amount of people he controls and keeps safe.

Ezekiel would be 4, because he makes people feel safe as well, gives them brighter days, and finds diplomatic solutions for solving problems.

Maggie/Hiltop 3, because they are like the botanists and farmers the world is going to need. The children need to spend their summers there learning shit. Maggie's skills as a fighter makes her a great leader cause she won't ask anyone else to do something she won't or can't.

Rick 2, because if you're not in his inner circle you're canon fadder for all he cares. Every place he has run has fallen. Rick is good at teaching you to survive in the wild, but much like a marine when you come home those skills are useless

bro... there is no person in the entire show/ series who has showed more dedication to leading people. there is nobody who has been through more and is still here standing. rick had at least 2 complete mental breakdowns and still came back. he always defaults to leadership after he snaps out of whatever hes going through. he's a natural protector. easily a 5.

That's why I say he is a survivor. A leader is a bit much
