yep, this is what i'm thinking. It's encouraging that it doubled just off of Bitcoin's uncertainty, but it should dip a bit when Ripple starts releasing more into the market. I'm very surprised it went this high though.Just 2 weeks ago there was alot of uncertainty on here because it was down to 500.

I know, I was bummed when it went down to 480, then I bought a shitload more when it hit ~520. Kinda wish I threw another BTC at ripple when it was low

Damn...I sure did :eek2:

I been kicking myself today because for the past couple nights I been contemplating getting to my desired position instead of waiting for the summer to drop some more on it. Oh well.
It's like every other new person that comes in wants us to start from zero and explain :hmm:
Let's get the relevant pages for them and just list them every time someone comes in
My dude :giggle:

So this is what I'm going to do, fam. Would love your opinion....

Purchase BTC through CB to deposit into Poloniex, then purchase Ripple there. Now I just have to have a reliable calculator.

How does this sound? Only thing is, should I trust my cc info with CB?

This is some cool shit. It really feels like this is the beginning of something special.

I feel like we could all be on some Roc Boys shit someday

I just did it today. I figured what the hell.

coinbase is taking a few days to verify my account Damn it man i coulda go in at .009 now its 0.14 DAMN!!

it fluctuated between $0.006-7 for the first 3 months...I expect it will probably hover around the $0.009-0.010 for a while or @ least I'm hoping it does...so I can make one last push for half a mill

it will go back down. Don't buy off emotion. There is a video a few pages back about this. Just get your BTC on Polo and set your order for a good price. .0095 may be a good entrance if you have to jump in in the next few days. But the way these coins cycle, it WILL GO BACK DOWN (unless this is the BIG ONE!!!)
please hold your money until you can buy at a good price. It should be soon for you

Man even at 0.014, it is a good price for what we expect it to do. It is only at around a penny...100 shares per dollar and we are looking for it to go to $5 a coin. This is a long term (2-5 yr plan hopefully)

I know it was mentioned in the past but we could totally pump and dump if we moved as a unit. Combined, we could really effect the market.

what is their purpose of the DDOS? This happened last week as well
who knows..but find this article about ddos attacks in general.

https://zeltser.com/reasons-for-denial-of-service-attacks/

Denial of Service attacks (DoS) affect numerous organizations connected to the Internet. They disrupt normal business operations. Though you can take some measures to mitigate their effects, they are practically impossible to prevent and are costly and time-consuming to handle. One way to start thinking about your ability to withstand and respond to DoS attacks is to consider why DoS attacks happen.

Common reasons for DoS incidents include the following, listed in no particular order:

  • Extortion via a threat of a DoS attack: The attacker might aim to directly profit from his perceived ability to disrupt the victim’s services by demanding payment to avoid the disruption.
  • Turf wars and fights between online gangs: Groups and individuals in engaged on Internet-based malicious activities might use DoS as weapons against each other’s infrastructure and operations, catching legitimate businesses in the crossfire.
  • Anticompetitive business practices: Cyber-criminals sometimes offer DoS services to take out competitor’s websites or otherwise disrupt their operations.
  • Punishment for undesired actions: A DoS attack might aim to punish the victim for refusing an extortion demand or for causing disruption to the attacker’s business model (e.g., spam-sending operations).
  • Expression of anger and criticism: Attackers might use the DoS attack as a way of criticizing the company or government organization for exhibiting undesirable political or geopolitical, economic or monetary behaviors.
  • Training ground for other attacks: Attackers sometimes might target the organization when fine-tuning DoS tools and capabilities for future attacks, which will be directed at other victims.
  • Distraction from other malicious actions: Adversaries might perform a DoS attack just to draw your attention away from other intrusion activities that they perform elsewhere in your environment.
  • Self-induced: Some downtime and service disruptions are the result of the non-malicious actions that the organization’s employees took by mistake (e.g., a server configuration problem).
  • No apparent reason at all: Unfortunately, many DoS victims never learn what motivated the attack.
As you’ve seen above, there are many reasons why someone might launch a DoS attack against your organization. Handling such incidents involves operating under stressful circumstances, often with limited resources and time. To learn how to prepare for dealing with a DoS attack and what to do if you’re caught unprepared, see my Network DDoS Incident Response Cheat Sheet.

MAIDSafe Explained.....
Shit ain't live yet but ya'll better load up NOW
It's at 1.5 Cents cause they been delaying and delaying since 2015

ya I mentioned them a while back...the only thing that was confusing when I was looking it up I read it's supposed to convert into another coin down the line...I think it will simply just be called safe coin...and they will increase the circulating supply when this happens...I liked it tho simply cuz it was still a somewhat low buy-in @ $0.15 (not 1.5 cents)...appreciate the video

Damn the whole entire Poloniex.com website is down
Now I know how people felt when Mt Gox went under & took everyone's money

:smh::smh::smh:

Edit: Okay the website is back up now

I had been saying this but I don't think it would work with Ripple.Between all of us, we might have only 20 million. There is 100 billion with over 50 billion in circulation. Our 20 million wouldnt make much of a difference.Plus im assuming everyone wouldnt gamble all their Ripple on it working. I do think we could do damage with a coin with less volume though.

Personally, I think they should read the post. Many of us ghave gained invaluable experience getting caught bag holding, seeing coins get pumped and dumped etc which tempers our enthusiasm.Taking the 15 min to read the thread can give them more of an idea of what to expect.I can see cats hopping in now and getting pissed and quitting if it drops just under a penny.
