Side note:
One thing I noticed from watching Poloniex these past few days
Things seem to kinda settle down around 8:00pm eastern time
Right around 8:00pm is when I noticed that people start pulling their money out & selling
Coins that have been pumping the last couple hours usually crash around that time

The pattern I've noticed a couple times is
Coin xyz makes its final pump of the day around 6:00-6:15pm eastern time
Then from 6:30pm-730pm it does a lot of sideways action
Then around 7:30pm-8:00pm it crashes like a mofo
I'm talking about Monday-Friday, workdays, the pattern does NOT seem to occur on the weekends

Sooooo I'm curious to see if BitcoinPlus follows the same pattern today
It is 6:45pm eastern time right now
If anyone has any BitcoinPlus, be VERY careful in another hour

the 24-hr low was $3.78 ...$20 would've got you roughly 6 coins...it's @ $131 now...that's $786...think your math might been off a bit maybe $760 @ the time you calculated it but not $7600 unless my math is off
 
It's doing that sideways action (pattern) I was talking about a couple posts before
The pattern I noticed with a different coin
It might make 1 last mini push up in another 5 more minutes, around 7:00pm-7:10pm eastern time
Then crash down hard 45 minutes later
Humm I'm curious to see what happens

Just something I noticed last week
Looks like the whales sometimes make 1 last pump at the end of the day on weekdays/business days
We might be able to make a couple hundred dollars real quick, if you time it right & get lucky on the correct coin


1. Between 5:30pm-6:00pm eastern time zone
Check the Poloniex trollbox to see what coin these idiots are hyping

2. Between 6:00pm-6:15pm eastern..... SHARP
The same coin they were hyping in the trollbox will start pumping a lot

3. Between 6:15pm-6:30pm eastern
Then the newbs will be like oh shit, oh shit, I need to buy this
That's usually when it hits its peak

4. Between 6:30pm-7:30pm eastern
It levels off, lots of up & down sideways action

5. Between 7:30pm-8:00pm eastern
The whales dump it & the price plummets


If this happens again, please post it here in BGOL
If we can guess the right coin, and buy some at 5:55pm-6:00pm, before the big pump, we can make a quick profit

I was doing the
24hr low : 0.00394592
24hr high : 0.1304543

I use this to calculate the percentage change
http://www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/algebra/percent-change-calculator.php

Then just pop the numbers in as seen here http://www.calculatorsoup.com/calcu...hp?v_1=0.00394592&v_2=0.13045430&action=solve

then I used a calculator and multiplied the dollars by the percentage. But at the time the price was 0.0800 I believe when I wrote that.
 
this is where one of us is incorrect...I don't think a $20 investment would've yielded a return of $7600...a $20 investment would've got you $760 return or a $200 investment would've gotten you $7600

He's going by the price in bitcoin and you're going by the price in USD.

It would've been .7600 in Bitcoin which is around $760 USD.

thanks for the clear up...wasn't tryna be a dick or anything...I just need the numbers to be correct tho to help me refrain from going crazy over missing out on that coin :scream:

1. You have to setup a Coinbase.com account
2. Then you have to setup a Poloniex.com account

Read pages 10-20 of this thread
I think on page #11 is where a BGOL member gave detailed instructions on how to transfer money from your bank to trade

I like his philosophy a bit...tho if I had to play that game I would only play around and "buy up" any coins w/ a low circulating supply like under 10 million...since they would be easier to pump by major players...also he was dead ass wrong about NEM...cats have to be careful w/ their numbers/calculations when jumping back and forth between bitcoins and dollars...NEM is @ $0.013 period...I don't know why he plugged it in as 0.013 fraction of a bitcoin

That's the thing I did get it from this thread lol

I put in like 100 posts to push thus forward and get us inspired
Now I mostly look at the thread and read the thoughts and tips and go for it

If I had a scoop that you guys didn't then I'd most definitely share no doubt about it

For me I came up off eth so all the alternative coin stuff I'm doing is stuff where I'm reading the info here and then gambling basically

Nothing heavy.

Also I kind of fell back on giving advice on the alt coins because I'm only as well versed as the ppl who are just now experiencing the trend we're dealing with now and I know that if I say to do something, not like in an ego way but just in a matter of fact way, then people will do it.

I've made money and I've lost money as well and I kind of don't want to be the guy that loses ppl money feel me?

From now on tho if I get a really strong feeling and I'm going to gamble I'll say I'm gambling with the disclaimer I'm not saying everyone do it, just that I am.
