Challenging.

I have realized that stagnation attracts certain people and being challenged attracts others. When I'm challenged, there a definitely less people who I register and they are pretty close to me.

I recently internalized that me being my best self is not a goal but a journey. That has made my present difficult but given me this ill patience that I never possessed before. And, made my future appealing.

Instead of looking at school or LEARNING as BULLSHIT or as a CHORE you have to go through, learn to LOVE IT. It is teaching you key MENTAL SKILLS that will make everything else EASIER.

Remember: The more you push to the do the IMPOSSIBLE every single day... the closer you get to becoming UNSTOPPABLE

“Three simple rules in life.

1. If you do not go after what you want, you’ll never have it.

2. If you do not ask, the answer will always be no.

3. If you do not step forward, you will always be in the same place.” —Unknown

I'm always trying to push to the next level. Its actually a need for me.

I would advise anyone to set high goals, and work diligently towards achieving them. You will ultimately be surprised by the heights that climb. I think back to my early-20s, and I recall where I was mentally at that time. I would have never thought I'd be where I am today. I wasn't born with a silver spoon by any stretch. I just always had a natural need to maximize potential. If there is anything in life that I can call my passion, it would be 'leveling up'. Its very, very invigorating to think about where you will be in the coming years when you know what you want, and know HOW to approach achieving goals.

I found myself falling into that trap a few years back. Right after grad school and getting a job, you couldn't pay me to go near a book. Grad school killed my drive to learn and push myself. And it definitely killed any passion I had for reading.
But recently, I've been pushing myself to learn new things. And not just 'going to school' learning, but self-taught learning in order to improve myself.
I've been teaching myself to speak Spanish for about a year, I took up learning the guitar, and I'm constantly on the lookout for new coding skills. I can honestly say that I feel better now than I have in years.
