I saw a thing on youtube about tite kubo and the decline of bleach. How it went from top of the heap to falling way off, and how his artwork declined, etc... they showed how stressful having to turn in a product every week is. You basically have no life, and the editors still want to micro manage your product.

Finally,got around to seeing this,the main problem with Bleach was that Kubo wanted to end it at the Aizen arc,but the editor asked for more chapters....On, top of that by the time the manga ended, Kubo didn't give it a proper ending,because he was fed up with the editor.

With that said, I was more entertained with Bleach than I was with Naruto...

That movie was fucking insane....Of course it helps to know what happening, but it was balls to the wall action and the animation was amazing.

Gantz is finally on netflix

I never read the manga, but this felt very off. If i had not seen the anime series, it may not have mattered much but it just seemed like the movie drops you off in the middle of the story with a quick reference in the beginning for new people to the franchise.

Because I think i recall the manga and the anime are different, I hope they reboot the series from the beginning.

The manga and the anime are pretty close, you should read the manga, it's one of the best to read.

This is going to sound weird but I've never been able to get into mangas for some reason.

The only reason I brought up the manga being different from the anime is because I thought the ending of the anime may cause an issue with the manga storyline.

With a reboot the minor issues would be resolved. Sort of like what Blue Exorcist is doing or full Metal alchemist brotherhood did.

On an unrelated note...I also want to say that it is amazing how well Gundam Wing holds up for a show that came out in the 90s. I'm binging it now like a show that just came out. The story is surprisingly mature.

I strongly recommend that a rewatch for the true Gundam fans. It's still one of the best anime out there.

I actually stopped watching Bleach when the Aizen Arc ended. It just seemed like a natural ending point. I did do a little research and found out that Kenpachi finally got a bankai, and that was cool

Yeah,learned it at the very end of the last arc in the manga.

They might bring Bleach back,so they can finish the series.

As discussed, Blame! is my favourite manga of all time, because it’s weird and lonely and fascinating and has some of the most breath-taking art you’ll ever see in a sci-fi comic. The sense of scale Nihei was able to accomplish haunts me even a decade on, and what’s particularly cool about this anime adaptation is that it looks like it’s focusing on the section of the story that’s, well, a story, and not the beginning (which is just a dude walking around) or the end (which was a disaster).


It’ll be out on Netflix globally on May 20. Can’t wait.

Man I've watched Gundam Wing for a full week now. I'm finally on the last episode on Hulu decides to fuck up.

I remembered the show and I knew it was good, but I didn't know it was this damn good. That shit is exceptional.

Haven't gotten to seed yet but Gundam 00 is fucking amazing. I've watched this shit nonstop. This second season is fantastic so far.

The manga and anime are close until the third act of the anime where it diverges from the manga completely. The anime answers zero questions of the mysteries the story raises. Just read the manga.
