Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

Portland needs to do a deal with Philly right now. Allen Crabbe and a pick for Nerlens Noel(who is pissed at lack of playing time). This trade helps both teams.

Wholeheartedly agree. I just don't if Philly wants to take on his outrageous contract

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love will not play in Tuesday's road game against the Milwaukee Bucks because of stiffness and swelling in his left knee.

Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue also announced Monday that Love would be questionable Wednesday for the second half of Cleveland's home-and-home matchup with Milwaukee.

Love banged knees with Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. in Cleveland's 119-108 win Saturday.

Love played through the collision, finishing with 27 points and a season-high 17 rebounds, but his knee kept him out of Monday's practice.

"He took a blow to the knee, knee-to-knee, and it swelled up on him, and it's kind of stiff," Lue said.

Love is averaging 22.3 points, 10.7 rebounds and a career-high 1.1 steals per game this season. Additionally, both his field goal percentage (46.8) and 3-point percentage (41.2) are the best he's shot the ball since the 2010-11 season.

Love has played in 24 of the Cavs' 25 games this season, sitting out a game last week in which Lue also kept outLeBron James and Kyrie Irving in a 93-85 loss to Memphis.

Nobody will respect you if you can't beat the good teams on the road.

Time to ball Nuggets!!! Fight till the end Win or Lose. You must be respected.

Mahinmi will undergo platelet-rich plasma treatment on both knees. He had surgery to repair a partially torn medial meniscus in his left knee on Oct. 15. During his rehabilitation process, he aggravated patellar tendinitis and suffered a bone bruise in his left knee.

Washington signed Mahinmi to a $64 million, four-year contract in the offseason. He has played only 14 minutes in one game so far this season.

How far can James Harden and the Rockets take all these 3s?

The Houston Rockets' record-setting 3-point shooting on Friday night, when they hit new single-game highs for 3s made (24) and attempted (61) in an NBA game, was no fluke.

They're also on pace to shatter the single-season record for 3-point attempts, having averaged more than six more attempts beyond the arc than any team before this season in NBA history, according to Basketball-Reference.com. (That record, naturally, was already held by Houston's 2014-15 team.)

With the Rockets parlaying their prolific 3-point shooting into a 10-game winning streak entering Tuesday's showdown against their in-state rivals, the San Antonio Spurs, it's worth asking how much further Houston and the rest of the NBA can go in terms of shooting 3s.

A few interesting games on last night; thomas balled, cavs pulled out a close one, spurs hit 1 late, GS played good defense in blasting jazz, Conley back and Memphis is still losing (did anyone really know or miss him), and boogie balls and gets tossed ....

Yea the Cavs don't matchup good with the Bucks....

I think without Conley they're defense is tighter along with them having more often offensive flow
