1st Molly.
Dissed ol boy cause he wasn't socially acceptable enough for you even though he was a good genuine dude interested in you. Then you get into the league and scare dudes off talking about future plans after 1 weekend.
Dude was in a lose situation either way. If he says its too fast he's an asshole. If he goes with it he's leading her on. If he does what he did she is mad at him. He just couldn't win.
Then you try to go see the dude again and expect him to just be like oh yea I was waiting on you.. smh. Lucky he's kindhearted and didn't make you leave.
he don't know. he's doing the right thing. he didn't smash even though she clearly wants to. its on issa now though. we'll see how she handles it. either she'll come clean or she'll act guilty.. or she'll pick a fight and end it so she can be with other dude cause that's where she wants to be (if she picks the fight) and leave lawrence feeling like it just ended out of the blue.
Naw the logic was stupid.
Basically white people do it and its no big deal so black men should too.
Also, unrealistic as fuck, ain't no dude telling a woman that. Shitty writing there to just get that point across.
I always like to think about the underlying message of whatever I'm watching or reading, and I'm just not feeling it.

People are different. His character has been consistent since being on that show. I could see someone admiring that in 2016. In his mind it was nothing to hide.
That wasn't the sole logic, just the opinion of one person. I thought they kept it real with the double standard.
I do agree with you about how unrealistic he casually spoke about that experience like that wasn't some off the wall shit.
it was perfect context. they were trying to out wild each other.. he felt comfortable with her she shared her girl on girl experience, she pressed him and he said what he said.
Right. It was a perfect set up IMO. Great writing. His character has had this whole nonchalant attitude from jump. And she admired that shit. She admired his honesty which is why she kept coming back and IMO, she's gonna come back again o him. She wanted his personality and someone honest like him and its the same thing she's having a problem dealing with.

I actually agree with you. Dude has been consistent since episode one about saying what's on his mind. I could see him saying something like that and thinking ol girl would understand because she comes across as a modern woman.
disagree with this. some people share. he's always been open, honest, direct and not playing games with her. she appreciated it until she got too much information but that's who he is. he don't seem like the dude that goes around talking about it but not hiding it either honestly.
he didn't think it was a big deal at all (though it is lol) so i can see why he would share, he ain't ashamed of it. he treated it like an experience like molly did. he felt the same exact way about it but it was treated completely different.. as they showed.
I hear you but sheeshhh. Man talked like it really was nothing
Right. He's overestimated her to this point.
Some would. I wouldn't. but it's a larger point about us not all bring the same.
Lawrence ain't a trifling dude like ppl in here were trying to say. he was in a rut like me and a few others mentioned.
Ol boy is a good dude who felt comfortable sharing with molly after literally taking her in lol.
Even the blood on the show is raising his daughter

I dated a guy once who mentioned that he contemplated letting a dude suck him off...and, that was the end of things LOL
Seriously, though, I just couldn't deal with thinking about that shit if things got serious. Like, if you seriously contemplated that shit, you're a homo, on the low low. He was a few years younger than me, so I chucked it up to this new fuckboy shit men are dealing with...meh!

That's how I saw it. I saw it as the struggle women have: one guy that represents all they claim to want intellectually, the other checking the superficial boxes. The qualities you listed are what dude has, but that comes with a catch & in this case...it's his past. Can the woman overlook the bad?? She's picked wrong so many times...we'll see.

I'm secure enough with my sexuality to say ol girl tripping and just refuse to be happy like a lot of black women.
Have I ever thought about shit like that hell no. But I understand sexual exploration especially when you are young.
A drunk night he let some one go down on him and he immediately said that shit ain't for him.
You got niggas out here getting thumbs in the but and other shit by hoes and that is acceptable?
He was open enough to tell a shameful secret to her and that's how she reacted just shows that she ain't the one for him. Move on.
