Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

I really hope you're not giving Kerr all the credit. Had it not been for Mark Jackson's Warriors team upsetting my Nuggets as a#3 seed which promptly led to them landing their future Finals MVP in Iggy, the Warriors wouldn't have been set up like they are.

Nuggets on the come up. Just had to wait for Kobe to be gone. Mamba out, Nuggets win.
I don't like giving any coaches that much credit; i feel like the majority is on the players..but i do give kerr credit for installing an offensive system that fits the players...

Lebron can be so frustrating to watch. Stop looking to pass and just take the shot with a strong post up. 76ers giving the Cavs all they an handle and up to with 2 mins left in the 4th

Yea they did bring it, I'm really pulling for them to have a great season.

How JR poked the ball out, now I'm watching on my phone so it wasn't that clear
Dude the last 5 minutes was robbery... Henderson got fouled on that last play, kyrie trips untouched and they call a foul, LeBron holding and shit.... We got robbed bruh point blank...

After watching the Cavs/ 76ers game here are a few observations I saw..
1- That sleep walking vs lesser opponents is going to cause injury and its not advised.. I think its condescending and can breed cockiness and sloppy habits..
2- The Cavs really need to inject new blood in their lineup (Liggins, Fielder and McRae) especially in games like this I think their starters and bench are a little too comfortable with their situation and thereby needs to be held accountable.
3-The Cavs seem to be somewhat vulnerable towards lengthy line ups, especially when the outside shots are not hitting..
4- It appears that the team, especially Irving feeds off LeBrons energy, if Irving wants to take it to the next level he has to learn to turn it up when LeBron is coasting..
5- For the next four year ould draft nothing but jump shooters who can play defense plus a true point..
6- As I said before, the 76ers are three years (or sooner) away from going to the finals.

I didn't see Lebron or Kyrie play.
I saw the last one tho...

Can't disagree with a few of these...

I was thinking about Number 2 in the second, I'm all about that energy. This could've been a great game for McRae

Man fuck Road Rage. When the Warriors lose or play a close game it is because they are flawed but when the Cavs barely win, which they have been barely winning all year it is because they are coasting. Fuck that nigga

We lost by 1 to the world champs with refs help bruh.... So the refs contributed to that 20 piece last nite nigga? FOH!
Bills was saying the refs never make calls in the Warriors favor. He has a point tho. To be as good as the Warriors have been, the Super star calls have never been given to them.

I wasn't even talking about last night.

Steph and Klay are shooting horribly and missing wide open shots. Durant is making his. Steph didn't even hit a three. That's why they lose. When you miss open shots you supposed to lose. I ain't blame a ref or nothing.

No doubt. Warriors have earned those calls... Some shit u expect but the shit tonite was ridiculous

That's all I was saying when the calls just don't go your way for no reason other than you just ain't getting those calls and other people get em.. shit ain't as funny when it's your team as when you can just be like "Quit crying nigga" to someone else

Klay struggles maybe a blessing because now he is driving more. I kind of wish he will shoot less 3's and continue to attack the basket

he'll have no choice but to do it.
interest level is the main problem right now. they're not dialed in.
and that's on coaching.
Exactly. The Lakers game was another example where the Warriors decided to play hard and in the 2nd half they were a different team. If they played like that in the first half the game would have been over.

Last season they came out and played hard and buried teams and by the 4th they were sitting. Hopefully they get back to that kind of effort level and energy. I do realize that it is hard to do because the regular season for the Warriors is boring

Spurs really need a point guard.

They can't go through the west without an updated guard. Mills is pesky, but he is still a huge defensive liability, just like Parker.

Blake givin LA that work tonight.

Paul may finally have Pop's number.

much of their success came from the bench and obviously that is different.

their bench didn't lose or give up leads. They usually increased them. Allowed the starters to put a dagger in most teams in the 3rd.

On both defense and offense.

San Antonio fans should be pissed off that they held on the Parker and Ginobili so long..
Also its time for Aldridge to start playing like a big man especially on defense...
