Eagles trade Bradford to the Vikings

Vikings acquired QB Sam Bradford from the Eagles in exchange for a 2017 first-round pick and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2018.

The conditional fourth-rounder can upgrade to a third-round or even second-round pick based on 2016 performance. It's a necessary move by Vikings GM Rick Spielman, but one clearly made out of desperation, and became increasingly questionable as the details of what Minnesota gave up trickled out. Minnesota has a roster that is ready to compete, with the exception of quarterback where Teddy Bridgewater was lost to a devastating knee injury. Bradford has been a below-average NFL starter, but he is an upgrade on 36 1/2-year-old Shaun Hill, who will resume his customary backup job. The Bradford acquisition is good news for the Vikings' offense. Bradford will be asked to manage games, however, limiting his individual fantasy appeal. He's only mildly more attractive on the Vikings than the Eagles in two-QB leagues.

Counting down the days to the inevitable Bradford injury

This is probably the best oline he has ever played behind but still.I say about week 8.

As far as the eagles it looks like they are in tank mode. Maybe they get Forunette or Myles Garrett but If
Deshaun Watson plays like I think he will can they really pass on him?? The will probably trade down and just try to get alot of picks in the 2017 draft.

You can just see why certain franchise aren't successful. You get injury prone QB and you have a shaky Oline, then you do it for 1st rounder

They traded a fucking 1st round pick and 4th round pick for this piece of shit.
And don't you be fooled for one motherfucking minute. If Bradford is halfway decent the media is going to question everything about Teddy. He's going to have to earn his job back.

This is true. I hope Teddy gets back and is able to Play but I don't know if he'll ever be the same. They should've just tanked for Deshawn ir Kaya.

If Bradford stays healthy the Vikings will win the NFC North.

Teddy B. must be in really bad shape if they were willing to give up a 1st.

Absolutely not

Bradford is a fuckin bum

Looked pretty good at the end of the year last year.

This is true. But the vikings have the luxury of having a healthy and hungry Adrian Peterson but you're are right they gave up up wayyyyyy to much for a mediocre QB. They could've got the same level qb in mark Sanchez for a supplemental draft pick, a 2006 Charger sxt with cloth interior and $575 cash.:dunno:

Mark Sanchez is no where near the same level as Bradford.

1st rounder and a 4th ain't no gap fix price.
4th round SURE that means we believe teddy gonna be right back at it.
1st and 4th is we not so sure.

A 1st round pick tells me Teddy will have to earn his job when he returns.

they said a gruesome knee injury in the article which makes it seem preety bad..when u heard how his teammates reacted they make it seem like it's damn near career ending or long time rehab session

They are. Once he's fully healthy.
Everything negative about Kap and 49er in this off season has been media written with no sources to back it up. None.
In the past there was a source who hated kap who got removed from his position for that very reason.
Kap ain't playing until Bum ass Gabbert gets hurt . Pussy ass Jed doesn't want that backlash from cacs.

So... In your opinion Bridgewater is done in Minny?

For a 1st rounder and a future 4th???!!! WTF are these teams looking at???!!! And I thought the Vikings made good front office decisions.

No. I'm not writing him off but giving up a 1st and a 4th means minny is hedging their bets and aren't 100% confident that he's going to be back to how he was
it's not trading for bradford, bradford is irrelevant in this. it's a 1st round fucking pick.
if you trade a 1st round pick, you're trading away a potential 10-11 year starter in your ideal world for a person who's only going to be there for 1 until the franchise guy comes back?
Like when Brady tore his knee up, the patriots didn't trade a 1st round pick for anyone....

They said dude could have lost his leg after the injury then they went and did this.

Not a good look for Teddy and I was pulling for him coming out of Louisville.

Where y'all getting this? There wasn't any nerve damage but he did tear his acl and dislocate his knee. And the timing is bad worse case I was thinking he would come back middle of next year. Giving up a first round pick is unacceptable. They could have gotten Kaepenick (a much better QB) for less

So the Eagles are good if the Vikings suck cuz it will increase the value of the 1st round pick. If the Vikes are great, that 4th can become a second or third...absolutely amazing.

It's a fine deal. He eagles got finessed for Bradford. And now they got someone in return. If the Vikings make the playoff, the Eagles get the 22nd pick. Big whoop! If the Vikings win the Super Bowl, it was a good gamble on their behalf.

Bradford, just hand it off to AD.

I guess veteran backup Charlie Batch wasn't available

or the fresh legs of Mike Vick in that new roofed stadium wouldn't be fair?

(sorry to pick on the Steelers...)

2 1st round picks is 2 1st round picks it don't matter what their number is, it's in the 1st round.

Thats allot of ifs. At face value the Vikings gave up entirely to much for an average NFL QB that cant stay healthy, that doesnt know the system, a week befor the season starts.

Teddy Bridgewater's Gruesome Injury Was Reportedly So Bad He Nearly Lost His Leg

Kap isn't a better qb but he is a much better athlete.

When it comes to throwing accuracy Bradford runs laps around Kap but he can't stay healthy.

The goal is the feed Peterson. How hard is that job? You're making the offense out to be too difficult. And besides, Bradford studied under the great chipster Kellion. He's seen sillier offenses.

There's a reason they haven't been to a super bowl since the 70's. Vick should've been there choice, if he doesn't work out you suck and get top 3 pick, and possible Deshawn Watson or Kaya
