yup. and the irony is that while he sabotaged his version of mr robot, elliot ended up working with his.

as far as when he was arressted, go back to the final scene of the last ep of season one: there's a knock at elliot's door and when he turns, it cuts to black. presumably that was the police to arrest him. for what, we don't know but it defimately couldn't be anything to do with the ecorp hack. at least i highly doubt it.

I'm gonna assume if he was arrested from the beginning of of the season it had to do with the aiding escape of that dude from season one.

Or the murder of that girl

Not liking how they making the fbi chick sherlock f*cking Holmes now.

I understand Elliot needs an adversary but this chick spidey sense is way to powerful

Because Elliot allows him to do it whenever he wants

now it's a default protection

That is why every punch in the alley turned him into mr.robot.
 
So now the question is what landed Elliott in prison? My guess is, if you remember the Ashley Madison guy from last season that was sleeping with Elliott's therapist, he said that he hired a PI to figure out how he got hacked. The cops told him that whoever hacked him (Elliott) routed it through a proxy in Estonia so unless that government fell they would never be able to get the evidence, but then after the ECorp 5/9 hack, Estonia DID fall. So my guess is that they found evidence to tie Elliott to hacking that guy, either that or the chip that his dog swallowed had evidence of him hacking on it. Either way, it wasn't a serious charge like murder otherwise he wouldn't be getting released.

nah, he was locked up from the beginning of the season. like he said, he was being delusional to cope. there were clues from ep 1 that suggested this, and they only got stronger with each ep. the only dispute in the fandom up until thos episode was whether he was in prison or a mental institution.

craig was an employee of the prison making money off his darknet site. dunno what his capacity was but he was someone of authority. they simply brought elliot from his cell to craig's office. the fbi didn't arrest elliot or even ask his name;they just told him not to move. that's cuz he was already locked up.

this makes the most sense. the question is what was he in jail for in the first place. Probably the prison hack but that would carry some serious time...



some other thoughts tho..HOW THE FUCK DOES ANYTHING LINK UP IN THIS SEASON??

Fsociety and the darlene seem to be running on their own almost independent of elliot (how was he able to set up a hack for the FBI from prison?)

Joanna Wellick has absolutely NOTHING to do with anything at this point..her storyline is apropos to NOTHING thats happening big picture wise...If they are somehow able to bring her back to the fold I hope its not in some cheesy way tho I don't see how..

Angela is the most interesting and central figure of the show as far as the ecorp hack and revolution is concerned. She's positioning herself to be a player in a way thats more consequential than even darlenes moves. Its kinda hard to see her and elliot are a part of the same story at this point.

more than likely it had something to do with the guy that he hacked who dated his therapist.

remember he told the therapist that the investigators told him that unless the gov of estonia (through which elliot ran a proxy) fell, they were shit outta luck. it was reported in the news that estonia took a massive blow due to the e corp hack.

or

since the guy's dog was chipped, it was tracked to elliot, where he was subsequently arressted.

I'm going to agree with you about her.... but there is a part of me that thinks that there is something else going on with her. So I'm going to hold my opinion especially after the mind fuck that this show just gave me.

That is exactly what I thought. Everything is basically in doubt now.
 
So here is my question.... Did Leon actually knife those guys, is he really working for the white rose, or did the sexual assault actual happen and Elliot/Mr. Robot created the Illusion of Badass saving him to protect him from what was really happening.

I was in doubt but that Zod shank sealed the deal.

And it makes perfect sense that they would protect Elliot

remember at this point we don't KNOW what side deals mr.robot has made

AND Tyrell is STILL out there.

I don't believe NOTHING mr.robot says until its PROVEN.

ESPECIALLY now that he has aligned completely with Elliot.

cause Elliot been lying us to us for the entire season so far.
