The hearse driver theory, along with the two that first got in the cab, how do yall account for the time they went to the waterfront and chilled. So the hearse driver sat around and waited? Just to kill her cause she flicked a cig and cut her up the exact amount of years she was alive, cause he knew that? And left blood on her back door lock key cylinder?

I can't buy that theory. It's someone who knew her. Either dad or someone else they may show us later...

It's crazy you mention the cat. When she puts him out, the door clearly doesn't lock. There's your point of entry. IMHO the step-pops is just a red herring. He's the shifty, shady, weirdo mofo you know is up to no good but you can't put your finger on exactly what he's into. He's on everyone's radar, the low-hanging fruit. Even ole boy from the wire's homie is just a head fake. No one is thinking about the hearse driver yet.

yeah I know what you mean and it makes it more unlikely. Not impossible, but unlikely. The part about the killer knowing her makes sense too, especially given the little face to face we saw at the cemetery. One thing about that though is that they say usually when the killer knows the victim (like overkill situations with a knife), they go for the face because its personal. Of course that doesn't mean that it always happens that way or that they'd have to write it that way, but it's something to think about (I don't think she was stabbed in the face).

I just went back to the 1st and last episodes of the gate, when she let the cat out and when the investigator for Stone came and took pics. I was wrong. That gate wasn't locked and it is the front door meaning to the street.

But he found a blood stain in the back yard in the leaves as well. So more clues to come I guess...

I just don't get that blood would be that high on the lock of the gate if someone was just pulling the door behind them. They would just run away and not have to touch there. Seems to me that someone would of tried to lock it who in turn had a key.

Did they ever say what happened to her mother? Or any other family member? We've only heard from the step father

Mother died and left her the house. Step father moved out to Queens after she passed away.

Why wouldn't a couple of left the house to the spouse? Had to be some rocky shit there. To leave it to a kid on drugs before you'd leave it to an adult?

I think step dad killed her for the house and inheritance

Add onto that, issues with Fred possibly. Fred got something to do with things I think. He could of had her killed for the step-dad or some way he owed him bread so saw that as a way to cake off the crib. A house like that in Manhattan, easily over 1-2m...

Just for the record, I think there may have been more interaction between the limo driver and shorty that took place off-camera. Keep in mind that Nas goes to the bathroom after they show the scene where she disrespecks dude. There was enough time for shit to escalate and somewhat resolve before he got back. Also, what is the purpose of that entire scene, how does it move the story forward? For all intents and purposes we should have forgotten about dude cause it APPEARED to be a minor situation. Naz didn't overtly offend dude so he let him live to take the fall.

I have no inside info, just a theory.

I'm still left to the thing of how smart the writers and want you to think this is about people's conceptions of race being that "the black guy" did it or some sort of minority like Naz.

You left with them having 3 shady looking black dudes, Bodie, hearse driver and Bodie boy. I need a motive as to why they sliced her 22 times and kill her so viciously. Not sure but they didn't look like stab wounds, looks like slashes. And why take a murder weapon back downstairs and put it back on the table.

The blood smear on the wall/lamp is an arterial bleed, blood don't smear all over the place from just a stab. Point is was done in a moment of rage and that she's face down also means what. She has slashes all on her back

ya shit grew on me...I like the depiction of his experience in prison...and the ominous music from the intro stays on my mind all week
Yep mid point episode 2 I was hooked...I like how it portrays prison, but not overboard like OZ with all the gay shit

If so that will be a twist because he has been M.I.A. since the gas station

My conservative guess is a house like that is worth over 10 MEGA-stacks easy. Don't think you can buy that house as a shell for 1-2.

Of course. I was being modest. Lol

Something else bothering me. They went to the moose head too many times. Like what if there's a camera in the eye. It's someone familiar and knows the crib...

I was thinking the same thing about a camera of some sort.....

lol,

the brothers name was duane reid, and that is a real pharmacy on like every damn corner in manhattan nyc....

yea that brownstone/house would be worth way over five milly, upper west side near central park....

ten milly easy!!!

Step dad is paying Omar and paid son who burned him. Son who burned him did the murder then killed Nas's broad. He made up the story about his neice. He killed that broad and set up Nas. Nas is in on it too though. Nas is a psychopath. You don't go from soft to bold wild out thug over night. He one of those quiet killers. Bitch polar. Two sides.

Arguably the worst analysis and deduced conclusion i have ever read on any show.

1 fucking star.

Rewatched Ep 1 and 2 very closely. Rewinding certain parts to relisten to specific lil clues.

If any of yall care to, watch Ep 2 again and look at the dad. Listen to what he says and his mannerisms. If that's to throw us off then idk, but dude so far is at the top of my list...

I think it's too obvious for it to be the step father, they always give us the obvious bad guy to fixate on but I reckon Nas did it.I was puzzled as to why was the fridge door open when he woke up in the kitchen in the 1st ep.

This show is deep!

My money is on the dude on the motorcycle

Oo and fuck the NYPD! All of em are pieces of shit!

Man if you have ever seen the inside of a cell or had to watch your lawyer negotiate the terms of your freedom, this show will definitely fuck with you.
