I have mixed feelings. I really hate to see black pain on display for others to consume, but I think their stories need to be heard. If they were not given space then Hillary doesn't care, if she does she's pandering. BLM is seen as illegitimate by many so ultimately giving them a national platform legitimizes them more with the authority of the DNC and hopefully future next president behind them. Also Republicans watch this as well as an international audience, children included. It helps to change the narrative to our favor. So I think the pros outweigh the cons, but I don't like feeling as though the burden is upon us to humanize us in their eyes.

Here is an analogy for the increase on minimum wages.... The government sets bars for vehicle fuel economy to make them more efficient. The end result is you have a car that uses less gas.
When the government sets the minimum wage at a higher amount. Businesses will become more efficient often with the help of automation and therefore will need less people to get the same results. It sounds like a good idea but it will backfire on the people that need it the most. Soon Walmart will have robots that restock the shelves.. Roombas that sweep and mop their floors, and even more self service lanes....

Yes we may need to back out if other countries dont start to pay their fair share. Out of the 28 countries in the alliance only 5 are actually paying the recommended amount. Iceland doesnt even have a military and contributes virtually nothing yet gets the benefits. Most of these countries are in Europe yet they dont think its important to beef up their military because they pimped the USA into protecting them.
