The official Sneakerhead Thread*************

What game?

U was like 16 back in 89?

Nigga I born from the best.

My OG kept me in mikes.

My old man provided the season tickets

From 85-98 was a awesome childhood my nigga

Good stuff. I wasn't 16 in 89 but I had them 4s and other shoes.

Congrats on the 5s, smh, but I still have them in a cart, who's mad?:dunno:

I don't know what the fuck has been going on in this thread the past 2 weeks or so, but fuck that 5's been lit in my city :dunno: I've never heard anyone shit on them until this thread. As a matter of fact, a bitch I know wayyyyyy down in Houston hit me up saturday morning talking that "Yo, I know you're into sneakers, can you help me get a 6.5?"

@ "team jackets are hot" yo first week a HS I seen this cac standing next to me in a vikings starter jacket get duffed for his shit...to be fair they did ask him for it politely first...I was a bit of a square but fortunately cats took a liking to me + I was as broke as them so I ain't had nothing worth taking anyway
Got dam nigga.. how many cac's you went to school wit.. They all was fly'er than you too. :smh:

Just saw on my younger brother's phone that there's been a text circulating regarding a boycott. Also some social media stating the same

Thus leading to his statement earlier today and "donations" to the #blacklivesmatter causes. Those five were supposed to be the biggest selling of them summer (along with the flu games) and they still sitting. So Jordan trying to save face after a big disappointment sells wise this weekend.

Steph still remaining conscious with the super affordable kicks for $15

That would be fine, I don't know how much faith/stock I put in that being the reason they're still around. The truth is, the same dudes calling for a boycott and making memes about people being sheep, they don't wear jordan's anyway :dunno:

Like the Target mass texts, their we're Jordan text as well. Easier to boycott some recycled sneakers than to boycott a store like Target.

This ain't have a damn thing to do with MJ's statement today.
Those 5s still sold well overall despite them sitting at FNL.
Despite what hypebeasts think, JB is not concerned whether new releases fly off the shelves on release day. This was a GR mass-produced shoe. As long as they sell out eventually, which they will, JB is happy.
You really think MJ just decided to make his statement and donate $2 million dollar after this weekend.

Yeah, I got the Target text as well. I don't know man, I didn't realize how easy they were to find until this thread but I'm ok with them sitting

I just checked, they're at a bunch of online retailers and that usually translates to in store spots (at least in my areas, but I haven't checked recently)

What's two million to Mike and how hard is it to make a generic statement like he dropped today?

Edit: Like @POSTERBOY mentioned, it's not just a FNL thing. Its still available at FL online as well. Jordan trying save face fam. Look who he donated his money to

Y'all are looking at the small picture here.
One weekend of supposed bad sales and a hashtag is not going to prompt MJ (who has stayed quiet on social issues his whole life) to all of a sudden speak out and donate money publicly.
If anything, the NBA pulling the game out of Charlotte (and him losing out on millions of dollars) probably prompted him to speak out.
Watch, next he'll be donating money to a gay-rights group so he won't piss off that group and lose out on more money.
