NBA Offseason 2016 - FreeAgency money dried up...Waiters gets $2.6 after OKC pulled $6+ offer...

All their numbers will take a dip

Nobody going to shine hard enough on that team to win MVP

Their goal is to win as a TEAM so that's fine but to me all the individual accolade stuff is out the window

and that's the thing, they don't CARE about that shit lol. everybody outside of the team cares about that not them. if they're up for it and don't win sure they'll feel slighted but not by teammates. people really try to tear them down as teammates when off the court and especially on the court we see how close they are.

how many times does klay need to score 30 in a quarter while draymond and steph are not only deferring, they're not even trying to score they're going to make sure klay gets his shot off before people start to understand it don't matter who does it as long as it gets done.

Unless Curry, Draymond, and Klay are going to all three average about 10 a game, Durant is not winning MVPs or scoring titles.

And if they all decide to average 10 a game so Durant can win scoring titles and MVPs, they ain't winning shit.

They traded Barnes for Durant. Barnes was already getting 11 shots per game. Durant takes 18. Two shots less per game from those 3 pretty much gets him right on the same pace. However, he'll be an even more efficient scorer because he'll get better looks (screen and rolls and catch and shoots that he never got in OKC) so he won't even need as much volume. Don't be surprised if Durant leads OKC is scoring. he's a much more natural scorer than Curry. Durant has lead the league in scoring since he's entered the league (nearly 28 per game since he was drafted) and he's a 5 time scoring champ. Curry said he wants to become a better player every year. he's not going to get much better as a shooter so what will be get better at? Distributing. He had a negative assist to turnover ratio in the NBA Finals. Curry is going to look to evolve his game and that's also why he pushed to get Durant on board. It's good for everyone.

Curry had ONE breakout season. He'll probably just revert back to the mean and everyone else scoring average will relatively stay the same. Green will probably be the one who makes the biggest sacrifice as a scorer.

the people commenting on the team dynamics aren't exactly qualified.
they joined together knowing damn well they would never get any mvp's and shit again as long as they're together.
the only thing they can get is a ring which im sure durant will be determined to get this season and the warriors still have a huge chip on their shoulders so will be after it as well.

nothing is guaranteed but the pressure to deliver. that's it.

Yep.

They are definitely in it to win as a team. Somepeople are trying to come up with ways that KD can win scoring titles and MVPs while they're still winning. My point is, if you take Steph and turn him into a pass first PG for the sake of KD winning scoring titles, there are better pass first PGs you can get for cheaper.

not really cause unlike those other pass first point guards they don't have the ability to just take over the game the way he can.
the offense is a pass first offense that's why i don't see much changing. they already pass the ball around all the time trying to get the best shot. so much so the 4th option on the team got up 11 shots a night.
the only person who might suffer is zaza lol. green still gonna be just as active in everything he's always been but now it just means the 3 and the 4 can now get the board and go down court and now the 3 is 7ft tall which helps with defense and rebounding as well. and even when we go small durant is still 7ft... so..

Its real good to be alive right now aint it Bruh?

Basically... Nobody put a gun to his head and made him sign those short cash deals....

Think about it... Dude signed for short money so another Dude could make more than him AND so the team could be better and make the ownership a lot of money...

When you think about it, no disrespect intended but Wade has been a dumb ass for a while now... :smh:

Yep. I don't fault MIA for lowballing a fool.

for all the people talking about GSW all about team first and they dont care about statistics

how the fuck yall know this and they havent played a game together yet furthermore a whole season.....a soundbite is what told yall that...how sway

I am amused at all the crystal ball stuff that goes on in here sometimes.....

This is up there with the kawhi leonard best 2 way player in the game stuff

remember. he was debating on whether it was worth it to sign him. harden was willing to take 60 million but he wanted a no trade clause. presti would not give him a no trade clause. this arrogant piece of shit wanted to reserve the right to trade james harden off of this team. do you not see how fucking horrible this is?

this is going to be a 30 for 30
book it.

Some owners don't deserve shit. The guy with Heat and the OKC owner are two. Players are going to learn the value of owners who will go into the tax to produce winners.

to now?
this is the 1st major free agent we've ever landed in my entire life. the 1st. people forget klay steph and green were drafted.
when we got iggy and bogut and barbosa and livingston nobody said damn that's fucking crazy its a steal, they were like yea well nobody else wants them..

now kevin durant is sitting in oakland california giving a press conference right now talking about what he can do for the warriors

Heat made them take paycuts and then tried to cut corners with Mike Miller and then on the backend with Wade. Never trust an owner like that. I bet the GS owner won't act crazy when it's time to straighten out Steph. OKC owner would tell the team to trade someone. I know Gilbert would be like :money: That core would be together for the next decade. They'd have a monument like Rushmore in downtown Cleveland.

they already said...which we'll see... that durant is here for the long haul. barring some shit that i don't wish on any team, he's here until he's out of his prime.
steph is already getting cashed out. that's 1 thing i'll say about this owner. he might need to shut his ass up a lot of the time but he will put his money where his mouth is.

Just watched Durants presser.. He came enough well enough i guess. Still sound like a fool talking about he had to take a leap of faith and a hard decision and difficulties on going to a new town where he knows nobody..

Man stfu.

Cant wait to hear the leaks that come from Westbrooks camp on this all.
