Good for him
That still amaze me dude getting broke off like that.
Like he's a game chAnger

So had he went to the Cavs to play with LeBron it would have been cool?
And the reasons they don't suffer is its a stars league
As long as they have superstars which they always will then people will still watch
I don't pay as much attention to the regular season as I have in some years past but I damn sure check for the playoffs always
It's hard when the only sports you like are football and basketball
Can't get into watching baseball at all

Of course it would have been cool because deep down 50% of these dudes dislike the Durant to GSW move BECAUSE of what it will mean to LeBron and the Cavs. For all their posturing and talking about coming back from 3-1 they know that sh** was luck. There won't be any such luck next year or years to come. That's why they're trippin.
As far as the super team thing? I'm disappointed by the lack of insight. There are a lot of BGOL dudes who know a lot about this shit but it seems they're overlooking the main reason Durant bounced.
His main goal is to get a ring. He came close this year which is why everyone is so dumbfounded. Only one problem, he's seen this before.
In 2012 OKC was the Western Conference Champion. Young as fuck, dominant. What did OKC management do? Gave up James Harden for $4.5mm. The difference between Houston's offer and theirs. What happened? OKC dropped. Did they consult Durant? Nope. Fast forward to 2016. OKC came within one game of dethroning GS. Potential to be dominant again pretty high and finally get the ring. What happens? OKC managment trades Ibaka. Why? Because they don't want to pay him next year. Was Durant consulted? Nope.
Who wouldn't bounce?
Welp.. Barbosa is officially gone. 2/8 mill with the Suns...

Listen im not saying people dont like watching the draft and camps etc and it doesnt draw ratings; but at the end of the day, gambling is the driving force behind the popularity; there are countless of articles behind this; fantasy sports(which is gambling) is also a huge reason for the popularity; Its the perfect storm; not that many games, only 1 game each week, most games are played on sunday, and betting; There are 82 games in Basketball; Imagine it being dropped to say 29 games; that means everyone only played each other once; and each games was played once a week; you wouldnt be able to get a ticket; popularity would go thru the roof; viewership would skyrocket; same thing for baseball; its not about people believing their team has a chance to win; There are plenty of teams that have no chance to win every year in the nfl; yet that doesnt stop people from going to those games and/or watching those games...So what does gambling and a lack of games have to do with how popular the draft and draft camps and the offseason is in the NFL?
Spot on.
Dudes just made because they scared that Durant will pass Lebron

Heat trying to get in talks for a trade with OKC. Send Goran Dragic and our first round pick to OKC for WestbrookAbsolutely atrocious
Salaries out of line? I say no way. These guys owe it to themselves and their families not to leave one damn dollar left on the table. Look at the salaries of Formula One drivers and soccer players. America just needs to get used to the new normal. I say hooray for all these guys. I hope Lebron gets $40+ mil a year.

I don't think most people have a problem with him leaving OKC doesn't deserve him or Westbrook for that matter for the reasons you listed along with others
The issue is the team he selected
And me personally I could care less if he passed Lebron or not but if he was to do so he need a lot more MVPs and finals apparences to do so
Fuck you
How is he going to pass LeBron when he's going to be averaging career lows and be just a guy on the Warriors? The days of MVPs and scoring titles are over for him as long as he's there.
That's all it is....they're worried.
Curry basic told him he can be the man, he's not worrying about being the guy...How is he going to pass LeBron when he's going to be averaging career lows and be just a guy on the Warriors? The days of MVPs and scoring titles are over for him as long as he's there.
Man yall niggas aint shit

So... Theoretically what are you saying Bruh?Unless Curry, Draymond, and Klay are going to all three average about 10 a game, Durant is not winning MVPs or scoring titles.
And if they all decide to average 10 a game so Durant can win scoring titles and MVPs, they ain't winning shit.

Feel a little better today.
Kinda reminds me of Marino.
The Dolphins hung onto him for too long.
The Heat are doing the opposite of what the Dolphins did.
Still my favourite player and I'll always have all those great memories.
