This is false. The problem with giving Wade his three year deal he wanted or 50 million would have set the Heat back for years. People don't understand that we have to give up our 2018, 2019 and 2020 draft picks.
With the uncertainty of Bosh, the Heat would not only be capped out but would not have drafts picks. Deciding to build around the young core was the right decision.
You can talk about Miami which is cool. I will still watch every game and look for the young guys to develop.

Throw in Wade's salary and the Heat had a tough decision. Josh Richardson is going to be a star along with Winslow and Whiteside. You also have Tyler Johnson if they match. To sign Wade meant moving Winslow or Josh. No one wanted McRoberts.
So that was our issue. Move Winslow or Josh Richardson to resign Wade without having draft picks for the next 3 years.
