You can't expect KD to carry over the same mentality. It's not about the volume of shoots, but more so the efficiency. They are all going to get good shots based on the warriors offensive system. They just have to make them like they did during the season at an efficient rate.
KD will not have to take those ISO shoots like he did in OKC. They're going to be many GOOD shots for him and the team.

Anytime Draymond took more than 20 shots GS lost.. Anytime Barnes decided to show up it was a plus especially in late game situations.. Curry, Klay and Durant will be the primary scorers in the team so why is that hard to believe?

Its a give and take thing, and this is why players like Bosh and Love run into problems... There is sort of a bell curve when it comes to shooting, especially for a rhythm shooter, take too many shots and your % goes down, but if you take too few, you never have a chance to catch your rhythm and your shooting % also goes down..
Durant has always been the type of player who had to shoot his way out of his slumps, however with this team, there will be no way for him to do it...
So his adjustment and challenge would be to find a way of being efficient right away with much fewer shots to go around..
Or he can do what he has never done in the NBA, that is find ways of being productive even when he is not scoring....

Lets take the last game vs the Cavs for instance, where the Warriors shot 83 shots..
The player Durant is taking place Barnes shot 10 times, at a 3 for 10 clip, a little under 1 and a half shots made from Durant average...
So by math if Durant were to play that game and not take anyone one shot, the Warriors would have scored a three extra points...
Now if Durant were to take more shots he would have been taking shots away from the other players, remember you have a pie split 83 ways that you have to distribute between the other Warrior players..

But we have watched KD play ISO ball his entire career. Majority of the shots he takes are grossly contested and off balance. Plus he is playing with two shooters that are highly efficient. This is the perfect chance for him not only to be a scorer, but a playmaker as well. KD isn't going to struggle that bad in this system. He is in his prime and he is a prolific of a shooter as Steph and Klay. Think about all those shots Barnes was getting. KD going to get at 10 to 12 off gate. He's going to get more for the fact you can't leave Steph or Klay open or alone.
Golden state runs a motion offense. KD is absolutely going to kill in such a system. He can pass out of doubles to scorers. His assist per game is going to go up on that alone because he ain't passing out the double to Robinson or Waiters.
This ain't a thing where KD is just going to go full OKC in GS. If that was the case, then he could have stayed. He left because the responsilbity isn't as high in having to be a volume shooter. In this offense, KD is going to be extremely efficient. Open shots and many of ways to attack the basket. No other team in the league back doors or cuts they way GS do.

Not sure what Road Rage is thinking. But the Offense will now be run through Durant and Curry.
I am not disagring with any of that, but the formila is simple, if any player comes on a team where he is forced to take shots away from another player or players, either he has to be of efficient (shooting for a higher %) or bring other things to the table that creates more shots, things such as increase steals, rebounds or blocked shots..
But being that the Warriors core all shoot for a high % even from the 3, I don't see Durant increasing the team shooting % nor do I see him increasing the amount of shots they take... But with him shooting for a lower % than the core, there is a chance that he could actually lower the team shooting stats..
As a fan of the game I would have loved seeing the Warriors get a player like Whiteside, someone who would have given them at least 10 more shots per game, now imagine the Warriors with their shooters having 10 more shots vs the Cavs during the finals...
Now that team would be unstoppable...

What I am saying is that its not likely and based off what Durant has shown me so far, he is best served on a team that would allow him to take his 19.2 shots he is accustomed to...

He's not going to increase their shooting percentage or scoring like that. I agree with you there. It's not mathematically possible unless they are shooting a high percentage at a high rate, which mean they have to be causing turnovers or the other team is taking quick shots too.
And let be reasonable because GS had only of the best overall regular seasons ever. It would be hard to duplicate that consecutively. So I do think their stats will falter some on the offensive side, but I expect them to put it up in other areas.
I think its the other less sexier areas where they should have been exploring instead of attempting to build a real life 2k NBA team... If you keep up with my comments you know I am constantly talking the importance of roll players, increasing shots, and basically needing only two go to scorers surrounded by a bunch of roll players..
You can go back and look at that Piston team that beat the so called dream team Lakers, to see how a team filled with capable role players could be a team filled with superstars...Even when the Mavs beat the Heat it was due to the Heat not having the proper roll players to complement the core..
