Youre wrong.
I doubt it. (lol)
Youre wrong.
Nobody is going to beat last years record for quite some time. It took forever for GS to beat the Bulls record. All they need to do is win the West and get to the Finals. Everything else will fall into place. The fact is Cleveland was fortunate to have a couple of balls bounce their way during the finals. Being down 3-1 was and is still the kiss of death. A suspension here, a key injury there and low and behold you have the greatest comeback ever. Yeah, I know a lot of Cav fans don't want to hear that shit but isn't in the truth? There's a reason why it's only happened in NBA history once. All those variables are what made it possible. Shit happens. However, there is a such thing as synergy in basketball and it'll be interesting to see if this actually works. Nothing is a given.
He left to go to a winning organization.
They will see for sureI just want to see who is going to be the players who sacrifices their stats for the benefit of the team winning... I know Curry is going to shoot when he is hot, so he is going to take the same amount of shots, Green is still going to be the pick and roll guy (he is still the best passer on the club) so he will still take the same amount of shots, Thompson is still going to be that guy running off of screens and like Curry shoots when he is hot...
The big question is, will Durant be good with 11 shots per game if not will the others be ok with them changing their system that was so successful to boost Durant shots...
This could be much worse than what Kevin Love and Chris Bosh had to go through..
i hope durant hits that. Show Steph how to make a woman close her mouth properly.
So I
so I am guessing that Stephen curry is Sue summers because he was invisible this playoff finals
nah shit takes a year just to gel. i just know curry won't win another mvp now. No way him or Klay puts up those same numbers. If everybody stay healthy they are your 2017 World Champs![]()
Mostly every great team I know has no more than two great superstars, usually one great specialist and great roll players..None of them impress me as the type of player that gives a damn about stats and "perception". That's part of their strength as a team and they're actually despised for it. I do think you made an interesting point earlier though when it comes to money. People cheering about today when they will most likely be crying tomorrow. There ain't no way in the world, even with the cap changing, that they can afford to keep Curry, Thompson, Green and Durant without sacrificing KEY bench players. The bench was and is key to their overall success. You may get Durant but it's the bench that will sink them.
With a coach of the yearBut it was still three people on a team that didn't win shit that year.... Not him going on a team that had the best all time record...
Why wouldn't it? It's the same team only stronger. People are expecting great things. I'm not disagreeing but what you nor Jay-Vill seem to want to come to terms with is it's ring chasing, probably the best example of it in sports history
Isn't that the definition of chasing a ring or did I miss something? It's like you're saying it without wanting to flat out say it
that contract that curry signed when he was worried about his ankles were the best thing ever for the warriors franchise. gonna be interesting to see how these egos mesh. especially klay and draymond. i mean you were the man, had your own team. now you just going to be a piece. just glad i didnt buy me a kd jersey about a month ago. i'm a big okc fan and liked watching the warriors play but i cant ride with this shitAll I can say is that Durant made his bed he is going to have to sleep on, because it will never be his team... He will never get the MVP's chants, not with Curry, Thompson and Green there...
He will never be mentioned for mvp again, not unless he puts up some unreal numbers, something I seriously doubt with Curry and Thompson healthy...
If they lose anything its going to be hell on high water with him at the bullseye.. If they fail to win it all its going to be a 100 times worse than the Heat losing to the Mavs, a hundred times worse than the dream team Lakers losing to the Piston, they will be the laughing stock of the NBA for years with Durant being the punch line...
But if they lose folks will say so what, matter fact folks will be saying they should have lost last year when the CAvs was injured and they know it also thats why they went out and got Durant..
But the big problem with this move will occur when Curry starts demanding to get paid like the superstar he is... If the Warriors were smart they would have adjusted his salary now rather than later, because once his wife starts noticing everyone on the squad is getting broke off and how the management went out of their way to take care of everyone's business except his, well that situation can get really messy really fast..
Well I guess cleveland gotta trade love for wade now
With a coach of the yearBut it was still three people on a team that didn't win shit that year.... Not him going on a team that had the best all time record...
What is the thought behind your logic???????Well I guess cleveland gotta trade love for wade now
Hell no
We all know why Curry signed that contract, but the Warriors would have been much better off taking care of their own, before looking for another savior to right the ship...that contract that curry signed when he was worried about his ankles were the best thing ever for the warriors franchise. gonna be interesting to see how these egos mesh. especially klay and draymond. i mean you were the man, had your own team. now you just going to be a piece. just glad i didnt buy me a kd jersey about a month ago. i'm a big okc fan and liked watching the warriors play but i cant ride with this shit
What is the mod like with Thunder Nation?that contract that curry signed when he was worried about his ankles were the best thing ever for the warriors franchise. gonna be interesting to see how these egos mesh. especially klay and draymond. i mean you were the man, had your own team. now you just going to be a piece. just glad i didnt buy me a kd jersey about a month ago. i'm a big okc fan and liked watching the warriors play but i cant ride with this shit
Mostly every great team I know has no more than two great superstars, usually one great specialist and great roll players..
Superstars usually make roll players play better and roll payers make super stars play like the stars they are, even with the show time Lakers there was only two great superstars Kareem and Magic, the rest of the players including the great Worthy were forced to give up their greatness in order for that team to be great...
The Bulls had two superstars Jordan, Pippen, with Roodman the specialist super roll player.. You can go on and on year to year and see the same format repeating itself...
But in this day and age of video game basketball and fantasy sports, folks like to project numbers not based off the shots available but based off the shots available when they played on a team that allowed them to shoot at will..
The big fact that scares me most about Durant is that when he is not scoring big he isn't doing shit on the court, if that weren't the case there is no way they would have lost three strait the way they did..
Well I guess cleveland gotta trade love for wade now
Hell no
It's more important to keep Love now
What is the thought behind your logic???????
How will this affect the Warriros style of play now? Does Durant expect to get a certain amount of touches? Or does he prefer being a role player they can dish to when he gets good looks at the basket?
I'm hoping it's the latter.
There is no increased money next year....the increased money is NOW, THIS YEAR.
What sense would it have made to sign a one-year deal to come back and then leave?
He actually took less money to go to GSW and signed a two-year deal because that's all GSW could afford to pay.
Those records are damn near impossible to touch. You need the perfect storm to even come close. As far as ring chasing? No one is discounting the move. What we're saying though is that folks are NOT looking at the obvious. Based on the playoffs it's clear OKC was close as hell to dethroning the GSW. If anything it showed that those two teams would be battling for the Western Conference and GSW winning was no longer a given. However, you can't trade a KEY piece to that team and still think you're actually going to COMPETE with GSW. That ain't going to happen. They have the personnel and the synergy to get in that ass. Yes, I agree with you. He's going for a ring. No, I don't think it was the only reason. Up until the Ibaka trade I would say he believed they were close enough to roll the dice again. After the trade? Not so much.
idk about keeping him but def no trade for wade
Warriors world Champs 2017 2018 2019
Fam had a tough choice. Stay and fight it out, maybe miss out on a ring and if they got one he'd be a fucking OKC Legend... Or go to GSW and have that lil asterisk and people debating him forever. I'm not mad at the brother, I'm a simply calling it as I see it
His game will most likely soar. Far better, easier shots. Ain't no way you're going to key on him with shooters like Thompson and Curry on the court.
