Anyone had any bad experiences With Invicta watches? I have 1 (with one on the way), but after reading the complaints on this site, I am kind of questioning my decision.

I've had plenty of Invicta watches over the years, no real problems with any that were different from any other watches with heavy watch use.

Just don't over pay for them, do your research online first. I'm over watch collecting but their is still one watch I want which is

I'm letting my girl cop it for me for fathers day.

How much are these two watches? Ballpark range?

I like 'em both, but for different reasons.
The Rolex because it's classic style, and it will hold it's value.
Gucci cuz I still got some street nigga in me

On what planet? I guess if by "hold it's value" you mean that in 20 years you'll still be able to get 10k or so for it, then sure it does. But don't fool yourself into believing that luxury item you're purchasing will depreciate gracefully

The last 2 watches i've gotten have been Fossil and Armani Exchange

Some of them actually appreciate. I bought a submariner in 2004 for $5200 brand new. I can easily sell it in eBay for $7500 today. You could have got that much return in a money market account r even in some real estate.

On the other hand, there is another watch that I paid good money for 2 years ago and I can only sell it for $1500 less than what I paid for it.

Anybody in here try any smartwatches?
I've had the Galaxy Gear Fit for about 3 months.

I wanted to dip my toe in the smart watch game with something small before I jumped in head first. But I'm surprised by how much I use use thing. It's the perfect companion to the S7.

I'm thinking of upgrading to the Gear 2 Classic

But I'm trying to wait out the summer to see if they announce the S3. They just dropped the Gear Fit 2 and the Classic has been out for like a year and half, so the 3 has to be coming up soon :hellyea:

:smh: Why do that to yourself. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a watch, get a seiko, now that's a good quality inexpensive watch. .

yep
Patek, Chopard, Jaeger, Vacheron, U.Nardin & Zenith appreciate...
but depending on the model or a timeless design only some Rolex, Breitling, Cartier, IWC appreciate

yeah Seiko and Citizen if it has to be new - eco drive is a great movement and can be found for prices most pay for Invictas

another option if you're open to preowned- you can get great deals on preowned classics from Tourneau

Well yeah, maybe I shouldn't have been so absolute in my answer but assuming the watch isn't limited, it's a good bet that it won't.
