Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

That's a bit of a reach I think. He's already got Tommen under control. Tommen and Margaery need to establish an heir REGARDLESS of who Tommen listens to or not. Tommen is like 15/16 and Margaery is not much older, but the sooner you establish the bloodline the safer you are. Right now, the entire Baratheon (Lannister) line is one blade/cup of poison from non existence.
The dwarf can make a kid still

Isn't Margaery around 30 or so? How old is the character? I know the actress who plays her is 30+.

Y'all keep calling Cersi stupid as if any of you in her position wouldn't have killed all them faggots too.

And you wouldn't have went to see sparrow either. If you say you would you are a fucking liar.

Luck usually comes in seasons and Cersi luck is just been running on the line.

I was just thinking of the way Arya cut the top off the candle with her sword to make the room go dark. Everybody already covered how she did it to give herself the blind advantage, but also though, it was cool that she she cut it with her sword instead of just doing it with her hand or blowing it out, because if you remember back in Season 1, after her dad was arrested, and she was hiding out in the city, she used to kill pigeons (to eat or sell) with needle by sneaking up on them and swiftly cutting their heads with needle just like she did the candle.... so it was a little foreshadowing way back then.

Also, the way Arya objected to killing people for no other reason other than being given their name because someone asked for it/paid for it... Jaqen, despite what he told her about it not being her business, back at Harrenhal when he said he owed her 3 lives for the lives she saved; at one point, she gave him this name: Jaqen Ha'gar, and he protested (a girl cannot give a man his own name). If the a death is owed, and a name is given, a faceless man is supposed to get it done, right? Nah, Jaqen protested because it was his name... so I think even though he told her the rules, he knew it wasn't necessarily like that all the time.

Cersi is stupid though; or at least not as smart as she thinks. Her dad Tywin said exactly that (and Tyrion insinuated it after Arya got away) a few years back. Everything she does backfires. She's good at winning battles, but she loses wars.

The same thing can be said for everyone in the shows, y'all picking on her because she is a woman, Tywin was so smart yet he got killed taking a shit and Everything Tyrion has done has backfired on him so far

I would not. If the only chance I have is this big ass frankenstein ass dude to win my freedom. You not seeing what he can do until its time to fight. PERIOD.

The problem is she always tries to circumvent the game. Take short cuts and play the shit her way and her way always fails always has and always will
Look at Magery she smartened up immediately and escaped the walk of shame and is now working on her end game while keeping up appearances.
don't you see the big difference in how you should play it and how you shouldn't?

I hate the way the Faceless Men story has played out. Arya has all of these skills that she has been taught and developed but everything that led up to this episode flies in the face of what she has been taught.

So She is trained to be a faceless man and to be no one but when she goes to put the poison in the actor's rum, she's noticed by the actor. Secondly, she knows that the waif is looking for her, she knows that she can change her looks, but she just lets that old woman(waif) come right up on her and gets stabbed.

During her training, the Faceless Men know everything about her, know where she is at all times, are always watching her, and even can tell when she's lying just by looking at her, but when she doesn't fulfill her obligation to the Faceless Men, Arya just is allowed to dip off to a secret hideaway that no one knows about.

Finally, the waif has kicked Arya's ass in every conceivable way during training and we are just supposed to believe that a wounded Arya is supposed to be able to flex on the waif just because she shut out the light by slicing the candle. Wasn't the waif trained the same way....wouldn't the waif have been trained on how to fight without being able to see?

The Faceless Men was a great story arc in the book. it cemented Arya as my favorite character in the books. They did it no justice in the show.

Cersei can't get past the superficial threats. All her pettiness at Tyrion caused her to miss the real threats to her son and got an innocent chick killed in place of shai.

In her attempt to have Tyrion killed it resulted in her Father being dead and Jamie going against her.

She tries to remove Maragery off the board and gets her self imprisoned.

She tries to punk her Uncle Kevan and He just walks out the room.

List goes on.

She's portrayed far far worse in the books. She was trading pussy for favors with less than savory individuals. I think she even gave a lot of money and new ships to some bastard who caught her eye. Dude took the pussy and then sailed out of Kings Landing with the ships.

Only thing left is for Qyburn to betray her too

Shes headed west of Westeros actually

This is something I'm looking forward to see unveiled.

Thoughts?

Actually this is what I hinted at earlier. They've done a nice job establishing how gaga Jaime is for Cercei. Once she really loses it tho and her tears have drowned her he will have no choice but to act.

Similar to what he did with the mad king...

OH SHIT!!!

WHAT IF after what happens happen she starts running around declaring burn them all like the mad king and this moves Jamie to act.

This is why I said there should be a poll on who is dumber between Cercei and Sansa, because both of them don't know what the hell they're doing at this point...

Cersei don't all sorts of fucked up. Her cousin gonna get up on that stand and say she was fuckin him and her twin brother too. That will be the end of Cersei. She might go "mad king" and request the wildfire to be lit... Burn them all!

Yall the foolish ones if you think that fuckin trial is going to happen.

You are assuming that Arya could do things she was not allowed to do…

Arya cannot change her looks the same way that a ‘faceless man’ could. :smh:

She was warned that ‘the masks are like poison’ to her…BECAUSE she was NOT a ‘true faceless man’ yet. (Keywords: not yet)

The ONE & ONLY time she ever DID use the masks (before she was ready)… she ‘went blind’ because of it.

Therefore, she cannot use any of the ‘masks’ seen in the House of Black & White to change her appearance, like the Waif could. :smh:

- When she puts the poison in the actor’s rum…. Arya IS NOT YET a ‘faceless man’…. that’s WHY she was even noticed leaving. (Because she could not use someone else’s identity to make a ‘clean getaway’. :smh:)

- When the Waif stabs her…. Arya IS NOT YET a ‘faceless man’…. that’s WHY she was able to sneak up on her, completely unnoticed. (i.e. Fully-trained Faceless men NEVER stop being ‘faceless men’… while regular folks DO take a break sometimes, or ‘get caught slipping’…. if they get distracted by a beautiful Sunset & start daydreaming about what they are going to do FIRST... whenever they get back home for the first time in 5 over years :rolleyes:)

During her training, the Faceless Men know everything about her, know where she is at all times, are always watching her, and even can tell when she's lying just by looking at her, but when she doesn't fulfill her obligation to the Faceless Men, Arya just is allowed to dip off to a secret hideaway that no one knows about.

First of all, she doesn’t OWE the Faceless Men anything. :smh:

All ‘debts’ are paid directly to the Many-Faced God.

The Faceless Men just ‘manage the books’, so to speak… to ensure the debts are actually paid.

(If you owe a loanshark money... eventually, he will send his 'leg-breakers' to collect. and that's exactly what the Faceless men are like.... consider them the 'life-snatchers' for the Many-Faced God.)

So yes, Arya DID fulfill her obligation to the Many-Faced God.

- A ‘jealous actress’ paid for 1 Death. Only.
- So Arya was supposed to deliver 1 death to the Many-Faced God. (i.e. The Lady Crane)
- But Arya gave the Waif’s death to the Many-Faced God instead.

Therefore, Arya doesn’t OWE Jaqen, or the Faceless Men a damn thing. :smh:

- Someone paid for 1 ‘orchestrated death’ from the Faceless men… and they got one.
- It just wasn’t the Death they were expecting. :smh:
- And at the end of the day…. it does NOT matter to the Many-Faced God. A death is a death.

That’s WHY she is allowed to leave…. without ever needing to look over her shoulder for the rest of her life.

Finally, the waif has kicked Arya's ass in every conceivable way during training and we are just supposed to believe that a wounded Arya is supposed to be able to flex on the waif just because she shut out the light by slicing the candle. Not at all. :smh:

Think about it…

The Waif was much more ‘disciplined’ than Arya.
So she would never have ‘gone blind’ at any point for disobeying Jaqen. :smh:
And there was no evidence on the tv show to suggest that the Waif ‘went blind during her training’ at any point. :smh:

Now, we could use YOU as a better example.

Let’s say YOU are a UFC heavyweight fighter, for arguments’ sake ….

Go stand alone in your bathroom…. or in a closet that has zero windows (nor any light of any kind peeking below the doorway)….
Or wait until nighttime, if it helps to achieve 'total darkness' in the room you have chosen……

Now cut the lights off quickly…….

Notice, your pupils need some time to ‘adjust’ to the darkness….

While your pupils are adjusting.... that’s the same time when Arya is ‘poking you’ full of holes with Needle.

Cuz it only takes mere split-seconds.

Then she would just stand still in the corner for a few minutes…. as you bled to death….. while swinging around recklessly in the dark.

Hitting nothing at all.

There’s your answer.

Ramsey's fall is going to come from betrayal from with in his camp.

He is arguably the smartest person on the show. All he needs is a few good men to win not even an army.

He is going to meet his Brutus soon.

I might even believe it Will be little finger. If not his closest

But the pattern this show has gave us on how it feels about the Starks , snow and sansa war my be shorter than robs

Does Varys still have his little birds because I feel like he should have known about the wise masters sending an entire fleet of ships to Mereen. I feel like that's why they wrote him leaving into the episode but even still. How long do you suppose it takes to amass a fleet and sail across the sea. A couple of days? A week? Longer? The old Varys would have known about that shit before the first soldier stepped foot onto the deck of the a ship.

The show didn't really explain this so well, but basically Lancel already told the High Sparrow what he was doing with Cersei. That's what got her thrown in the cell in the first place. She was supposed to stay there til trial, but She asked to be with her son and the H.Sp. gave her that privilege (ankle bracelet) as long as she did the Walk of atonement.

But she still has to face trial for the original charges of adultery and/or incest. I'm note if just one of those applies or both. Like I said earlier she was really slinging pussy around in the book. So it was a lot more to the charges.

Even though I felt Joffrey was the biggest a**hole in the show, I'd rather see him than to keep watching Tommen. That kid has no idea how to rule. He let's his mother and wife get kidnapped, and he doesn't do sh*t but fall for the High Sparrow's okey doke! A weak King is just contrary to life! I'm hoping that Jaime will step in and teach this idiot how to rule. You can't share power... homie needs to listen to Gandalf in "Lord of The Rings."

Joffrey was his own entity. I hate Joffrey but he was who he was and he was not letting anyone punk him out of being it. Fuck it. Cersei even Tywin knew you could TRY but ultimately Joffrey was gonna do what Joffrey wanna do
This lil twerp Tommen has no identity. He is whoever is around him tells him to be.
I think he's gay too.

She dumb as fuck with long game. If it was me. I wouldn't show that big oaf till day of trial. Surprise mothafuckas!looks like I'm skating

Could be why he got the fuck outta there the day before the attack

:giggle: there is no such thing as luck - just opportunity + preparation
anyone that's read the 48 laws would never have used the sparrow and faith militant in the first place- fanatics are dangerous and uncontrollable, it was stupid considering the city was still recovering from a food shortage and mass public discontent. She was too stupid too arrogant to respect and fear mob rule or public uprising.
Even worse she hobbled her son and new king- to believe that he is powerless only to have it come back and dry fuck the whole family in the ass...
EVERY one of this bitch's schemes fails badly and has extreme blowback -

I hope you plan and live better than she does

Why are her move idiotic? Look at the Starks, Tywin, Baratheons, and Greyjoys. They have all made dumb decisions which lead to their deaths so why single out Cersi?
everyone of them broke the rules of power and payed the price some more severe than others - so far the only true players are Varis and Little Finger - Danny hasn't even entered the game yet

Cersi is stupid on multiple occasions - but recently its she never should have used the sparrow and faith militant in the first place- fanatics are dangerous and uncontrollable, it was stupid considering the city was still recovering from a food shortage and mass public discontent. She was too stupid too arrogant to respect and fear mob rule or public uprising even before the sparrow.
