I completely agree and disagree.
How many athletes hell just smart people u KNEW had potential since damn near birth, destined fir greatness huge pressure expectations huge potential
The whole family town neighborhood city sometimes state was on their back...
And they cave.
BRon met and exceeded it at every turn. You gotta respect that...
Nobody but that pressure on Kobe he put that on himself. ..
Even Jordan didn't come into the league like straight out of high school cover of SI pressure
And add racism jealousy envy social media bring politically active...
No matter what they say Bron best player in the league STILL...most consistent
And most scrutinized.
But u are right he aint a killer and for some reason, adding everything up?
I'm good.
Man you bugging. Mario Chalmers a pure shooter? Man he bricked more shots than anyone. The Cavs shooting is light years better than anything Lebron had in Miami. The difference is that Miami had outstanding defensive players
I root for Lebron but I realize he's missing one thing great NBA players have "grit from disrespect"
Example:
Larry Bird cut by Indiana Hoosiers and Bobby Knight (said he was couldn't play) walked home to alcoholic father (who said he'd be nothing)
Micheal Jordan cut by high school team, freshman college roommate was all American who was cruel to MJ
Isaiah Thomas south side Chicago bussed to CAC school where he was hated, then hood thought he sold out.
Kobe basically an Italian brown dude who Philly teammates hated and still don't like ...always an outsider
DWade ZERO big ten teams offered him scholarship ...from Chicago area
Curry only Davidson offered him scholarship ...said he's too small and weak
Lebron always been told he's best thing since sliced bread, never cut or had to prove anything.
Your character is a product of your hardships, players who step up in big moments draw from the doubt and disrespect. It becomes fire in their games (once lit it's hard to put out) Lebron doesn't have that grit because he doesn't have that "struggle" in his past... its been too easy for him
Green is correct that's man code 101. You're not gonna punk me
What's wrong with Lue ? TT didn't play much of 3rd and Varajo killed them
It was a two point game going into the 4th. The Love blaming has to stop
That is because Spo forced Lebron to play the 4 position.
That doesn't explain his drop in 3 point shooting from 40% to 30%. As a matter of fact, these are his 3 point shooting numbers every year since that season
41% Miami
38% Miami
35% Cleveland
30% Cleveland
This is his worst 3 point shooting year since his rookie season. This is way bigger than the positional issue.
and his 2 point shooting has remained historically high for him (over the mean). FOr instance, he shot 57% from two range this season. It's his outside shooting that has dropped. You're not really looking at the real data.
And it isnt mere age or mileage issue as most would attribute it... Id bet the numbers increased from distance post Channing Frye trade. That doesn't explain his drop in 3 point shooting from 40% to 30%. As a matter of fact, these are his 3 point shooting numbers every year since that season

Lol you know black people hate analytics

He's just responding without having actually analyzed anything. I've been talking about this for a while and been looking at the data all season. I've never seen a player lose his jump shot like this. If you look at his playoff numbers (just used regular season above), it's even worse. That link I gave @BrownTurd also gives it by distance. Lebron simply can't shoot right now and that changes everything for him because it's more difficult for him to get into the lane because no one respects his shot and he's not out there with the type of players that you need to spread the floor if you already a capable defensive team.
He was out there with Bosh, Battier, Chalmers, Allen. Those guys weren't the type that would take you off the dribble but when they got squared, they're good/consistent shooters.
So he still shoots at a high rate when he gets to the point, he just can't get there as often and his outside shot has left him. That's why his scoring is down.
Playing the 4 position is confusing correlation with causation.
Id bet the numbers increased from distance post Channing Frye trade.
I remember the article you posted back Jan Feb on his shooting issues.
Dude is so fucking mental man. So fucking frustrating to watch. I think theres more than just confidence at play too... The guy is a basketball savant... an idealist, purist.... To the point where he over thinks shit and will forego the obvious play for the "right" play. I agree confidence is probably part of problem tho.I can probably dig down post Frye trade.
Yeah. I'm not buying the mileage thing because Lebron looks fresh and getting older doesn't necessarily zap your shot. It might make it harder to get open (loss of speed or explosiveness) but it doesn't kill your shooting ability. Lebron isn't shooting bad for the lack of getting open (in terms of outside shooting).
His form is off and he's lost his confidence. If he's not "feeling" it, you can tell he's reluctantly shooting the jump shot.
If he was going to leave Miami, he should have taken the Miami blueprint with him. Smaller lineups with shooters and versatile defenders.... sounds a bit like the Warriors right?
Yo. They increased significantly man. Like wow..not quite up to his best Miami season but they rose pretty significantly post Frye trade...
Can't stand GS but LBJ did some really bitch made shit the last 2 games to Curry
Still have yet to see hack-a-bogut or ezeli and billy donovan did it and showed it works. Lue is ass
Ive said it. I think Howard would be a great fit because he'd actually get the ball to score. And it wouldn't matter if he scored any points. If he was smart which he really hasn't shown he is, he would make that move.Lebron needs to leave join forces with KD it's all about putting a team together who can take down GSW which looks like a team that is going to dominate for years Curry,Thompson, and Green are young nobody realizes all they need is a true center and guess who would make a nice fit there Dwight Howard you insert him in the lineup next year my oh my checkmate

But yea, see if you can find his post trade numbers. His comfort level rises with shooters.
it ain't about being a role player its about being involved and not having pressure.Dwight.....you think he gonna accept being a role player with his below low I.q ass? He half court
we not there yet.So when football season start?
These summer Olympics look interesting
Hoping the Cubs can keep up the pace.
Disappointed Serena ain't win, gonna be watching the next twould tourneys close.
Man i think he just sees the long game with that tho.. You simply cant win a series against this team doing that. So he forces team play to the point where it reaches head scratching levels of befuddlement. Too intent on getting those clowns involved.Yep. I wrote a long ass post about it yesterday. He's probably the most frustrating superstar I've ever watched play. He should have probably been the one going Kyrie Irving yesterday. Sometimes you just have to do it. He's done it before too. We've seen him murder teams in the playoffs when he's playing angry + focused. Shit, he was doing it to this same team last year.
Something is missing from his formative years, he rarely taps into that me against all odds zen like focus all HOF players do.
He's almost a better Grant Hill. We all know a guy who is just gifted but without a trail to overcome early in life ...the ego/identity never evolves
He's 6'8" and 9 feet from the hoop and won't shoot a hook or fadeaway ? an NBA champion ? He's fighting against himself ...and losing.
His lip service is incensere, he lacks faith in himself cause he's never overachieved. He's always been physically superior but at 31 with 13 long NBA seasons on him that advantage is dwindling
I would rather have bogut on that team then DwightLebron needs to leave join forces with KD it's all about putting a team together who can take down GSW which looks like a team that is going to dominate for years Curry,Thompson, and Green are young nobody realizes all they need is a true center and guess who would make a nice fit there Dwight Howard you insert him in the lineup next year my oh my checkmate
Dude is more magic than Jordan..he's always been like that..i just wish he would have developed his offensive game and jumper more..he relys too much on his physical skills and one can see they are slowly leaving himBron shit the bed last night, no excuses. But its true, he's a point forward that people compare and want to play like a ball hungry 2 guard.
Two games now where bron failed to show up in the 4th
Whoever compares Bron to Jordan or even Kobe and I hate Kobe with a passion. Should be banned!!!!
nah they didn't give maximum effort.
they mentally checked out and it costs them every single time they do it.
Miami got front running ass fans big ass 90ft gators you cant even take a decent nap or shit in miami with out wondering if a poisonus spider snake or scorpion gone pop out i got family that live in florida they gotta cut the damn grass in riot gear in 99 degree weather because you dont know whats gone hope out and sting ya ass not to mention everyone is coked the fuck out if you want to party and do lines then miami is the place to be! but lebron got his taste and said fuck miami im coming home so miami aint all that.
Dude is more magic than Jordan..he's always been like that..i just wish he would have developed his offensive game and jumper more..he relys too much on his physical skills and one can see they are slowly leaving him
Kobe would never be down 3-1 in a finals
He delivers to a point but. ........with this team though he had a hand in creating it so no excuses..i don't wanna hear love ain't this or that..i don't wanna hear Irving don't play defense or is too selfish..i don't wanna hear TT can't score..all this he had a hand in and he wanted them...and i want people that said GS reason for winning was because cavs were hurt..where they at? ??????Couple of genuine questions for the board:
Does this tenure in Cleveland Tennessee LeBron's Legacy?
Should LeBron have won the MVP I believe it was his second year in Miami over KD?
Are there too many built-in excuses for LeBron when he doesn't deliver in the postseason?
