it dont matter, as long as they had them initially...

I used to fuck with shrimp lobster, and crab... but as I matured

it doesnt agree with me at all.. I get some serious cramps and start breaking out and shit...

people think I stopped eating meat because I care about cows and shit...

NOPE I stopped because it made me feel too lazy and zapped too much of my daily energy from me...

but fish, especially wild caught fish... and YES I can tell the difference once I taste it...

wild caught fish doesnt give me that lethargic feeling... like eating meat does..

Beef

But man I love some fish, shrimp, crawfish, and crab legs

But steak, burgers, and brisket >>>>>

These poll results are disgraceful. Most of you are overvaluing seafood because you don't eat it as often. You'd be sick as shit of shrimp and scallops if that's all or mainly what you were eating.

not me...

I know how to season my shit from

ginger garlic sauteed fish

to celery root, to seseme ginger....

I like it with everything from grits to candy yams...

curry quinoa, coconut wild rice... throw in some spicy kale or

collard greens seasoned with kelp.....

I aint no joke son!!!

Maybe not but there's no way almost two out of three people really prefer seafood. It's being overvalued because it's a commodity.

I'm not even a pork fan but 5%? If people grew up eating shrimp three mornings a week and only enjoyed sausage, bacon and ham a few times a year, those numbers would be close to reversed.

could be,

or maybe the meat eaters are just overlookin this thread...

ask me this question ten year ago..

I wouldve been like ribs and pork chops all day ereday...

but the thought of eating it now is kinda gross...

I like all four, however, I would choose Poultry over the rest.

You can do damn near ANYTHING with Chicken. Fried, baked, soup, grilled, slowcooked, etc...

Plus, if no Poultry, are we counting out eggs? Fuck that! Love eggs.

Turkey is versatile too. Fuck ham, turkey sandwiches FTW!! Also, fuck a hamburger, I'll eat the fuck out of turkey burgers. Hate turkey bacon, but love smoked turkey legs and wings with greens or split pea soup.

Wtf is this/recipe/serving suggestions?
Looks like multi colored ground peppercorns, garlic and/or capers pan seared to perfection.
I need a new grill sear idea for that swordfish as I'm getting better @ not drying it out and keeping it juicy with a plate of butterfly tiger 'scrimp' off that barbi over the asparagus bed.

Only beef consumed is some good grade.oxtail and corn beef 2x/yr.
Curry goat fuck a pig.

That's a good ass point... If eggs count as poultry, I have to change my vote-- Poultry in a landslide.

Yet a gang of people get sick off of chicken too....every year Bruh.

Campylobacter
Campylobacter jejuni is the most common cause of bacterial foodborne illness in the United States. Over 6,000 cases of Campylobacter infection were reported in 2009 alone, but many cases are not reported to public health authorities. A 2011 report from the CDC estimates that Campylobacter causes approximately 845,000 illnesses in the United States each year.

Campylobacter is found most often in food, particularly in chicken. Food is contaminated when it comes into contact with animal feces. Any raw poultry may contain Campylobacter, including organic and “free range” products. In fact, studies have found Campylobacter contamination on up to 88 percent of chicken carcasses. Despite the commonness of Campylobacter, however, infections are usually isolated events, and widespread outbreaks are rare.

Study Finds Widespread Contamination in Chicken

Potentially harmful bacteria and antibiotic resistance common in 316 raw poultry samples tested

THURSDAY, Dec. 19, 2013 (HealthDay News) -- Potentially harmful bacteria was found on 97 percent of chicken breasts bought at stores across the United States and tested, according to a new study.

And about half of the chicken samples had at least one type of bacteria that was resistant to three or more classes of antibiotics, the investigators found.

The tests on the 316 raw chicken breasts also found that most had bacteria -- such as enterococcus and E. coli -- linked to fecal contamination. About 17 percent of the E. coli were a type that can cause urinary tract infections, according to the study, published online and in the February 2014 issue of Consumer Reports.

In addition, slightly more than 11 percent had two or more types of multidrug-resistant bacteria.

Bacteria on the chicken were more resistant to antibiotics used to promote chicken growth and to prevent poultry diseases than to other types of antibiotics, the study found.

These findings show that "consumers who buy chicken breast at their local grocery stores are very likely to get a sample that is contaminated and likely to get a bug that is multi-drug resistant. When people get sick from resistant bacteria, treatment may be getting harder to find," said Dr. Urvashi Rangan, a toxicologist and executive director of the Food Safety and Sustainability Center at Consumer Reports.

The magazine has been testing U.S. chicken since 1998, and rates of contamination withsalmonella have not changed much during that time, ranging from 11 percent to 16 percent of samples.

This is the first year that the study looked at six different bacteria. It found the following contamination rates: enterococcus (80 percent), E. coli (65 percent), campylobacter (43 percent), klebsiella pneumonia (14 percent), salmonella (11 percent) and staphylococcus aureus (9 percent).

Rangan said other countries do a better job of curbing chicken contamination. "There is no reason why the United States can't do the same," she said.

"We know especially for salmonella, other countries have reduced their rates," Rangan said. "Systemic solutions were implemented throughout the European Union. Government data show that in 2010, 22 countries met the European target for less than or equal to 1 percent contamination of two important types of salmonella in their broiler flocks."

tainted food. Contaminated poultry is the leading cause of such deaths, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The federal government needs to do more to protect Americans, according to Consumers Union, the policy and advocacy arm of Consumer Reports. Much-needed measures include giving the U.S. Department of Agriculture the authority to mandate recalls of meat and poultry products, and prohibiting antibiotic use in food animals, except to treat sick ones, the authors suggest.

To help protect you and your family, Consumer Reports offered the following tips to ensure proper handling and cooking of chicken:

  • Wash your hands with hot soapy water for at least 20 seconds before touching anything else when handling any type of meat or poultry -- frozen or fresh.
  • Designate a cutting board solely to be used for raw meat and poultry. When done using it, wash it immediately with hot soapy water or put it in the dishwasher.
  • Don't run faucet water over chicken before cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer and always cook chicken to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • When shopping, buy your meat last. Keeping chicken cold delays bacteria overgrowth. Place chicken in a plastic bag to prevent it from contaminating other food items.
  • Buying chicken raised without antibiotics helps preserve the effectiveness of these drugs. Don't be misled by labels like "natural" and "free range." Such chicken can still contain antibiotics.

I use to not eat pork but that changed 7 years ago...Far as my taste buds goes Pork, Chicken, seafood, and beef....But I love it all for the most part: duck, goat, sheep, lamb, would try game meat no bad answer here...
