Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

Man fucc this thread homie..just spent over a damn hour reading this shit like I'm studying for a exam ugh.....shit interesting as hell with all the theories but this thread will make you lose time like a mofo.....lol

Big,

This is the JV league around here. If you really wanna lose a day, hit up the reddit threads related to the books and show. And if you never want to be seen again, peep westeros.org. MFers have full time job curating the forums on that site.

I disagree with that. It wasn't that he was nervous, it's just that she played his hand and he couldn't play coy.

Nah, he got shook because she knew exactly what went down in that ritual. Makes me wonder what the voice in the fire said. Maybe he heard Daenerys' name? Red priestess told Varys that he had nothing to fear if he was a true friend of the queen. But that wasn't always the case. Maybe he initially hated on Daenerys for a specific reason.

I believe he accidentally made Wylis 'Hodor' .

When he time travels the people do hear him, see Young Eddard Stark.

Just bad timing that while Bran was warged into Wylis, that Meera kept repeating: hold the door, hold the door.

Occams Razor yall...

This also goes well with @LSN at post @11105 here, that by yelling father out to young Ned, that the fan theory of
="Jon Snow being his sisters and the Mad kings son. Quite possible that after showing that Ned isn't all truthful, that he'd lie about having a bastard son also."

I think Meera doesn't know where else to go at this point & she is gonna bring Bran back to her Father to get some advice... Enter Howand Reed.

Howland will then try to join up with Jon Snow and fill in the missing info of the Tower of Joy scene  Once he tells the truth to everyone, it will deem Jon Snow a full-blooded Stark, which will finally rally the entire North behind House Stark.

The big question remains... now that they have escaped Euron........... where exactly are Yara & Theon heading to? :dunno:

1 - They are heading to Mereen, to warn Khaleesi about their Uncle's plans to marry her... :dunno:

2 - They are heading to the Wall, to help
Jon Snow. :dunno:

3 - They don't actually have a (formal) plan.... Yet. They are just running off instinct. They will come up with a plan soon. :dunno:

Real shit. I read three Reddit forums. I've learned so much. But that shit is a trap. One day I was reading the threads.... Next thing I looked up and it was dark outside. HOURS had passed. That shit is crazy.

For anyone interested, these are the three I frequent (lurk):

Varys is a slippery one. He served on the small council during the mad king's reign, but he also had ser Jorah as a spy, and sent the merchant to poison dany way back in season 1 remember?

I believe he accidentally made Wylis 'Hodor' .

But the raven bringing him to that point in time was no accident though. Bran didn't really 'do' anything besides becoming a conduit.

4 religions right?

Many Faced God
The Seven
The Lord of Light

And the one you forgot are the tree gods of the North/ Children of the Forest

I wouldn't count the seven as a real religion Its more of a control device for the masses. Outside of fanatic control of the people this religion has shown no real power. While the lord of light, the manyfaced god and old gods/children of the forest/white walkers have shown some spiritual/mystical abilities.

In regards to the discussion about the religions I'm starting to question the followers of the Lord of Light. Mind you I'm not doubting the power of the Lord of Light, just his followers.
  • The second the Mad King looked like he was going down, they dispatched Thoros of Myr to convert Robert ....guess he was the one that was promised
  • Prior to losing at the Battle at the Blackwater, Stannis looked like he had the best chance of winning the throne .... so of course he was the one that was promised
  • Jon looks like he has the best chance of winning the North and maybe even winning the throne .... so now he's the one that was promised
  • Meanwhile across the narrow sea Khaleesi is amassing a vast army. One so big that she might become queen of whole world and not just Westeros .... so you know that she is the one that was promised
Followers of the Lord of Light are a bunch of damn bandwagon fans. If they lived in our world they'd be the people who haven't watch a nba game all year but have a closet full of Curry and LeBron jerseys.

Pretty much why a triune government each representing one of the big 3 could b e a solution.

Which could work out the triune rulership and maybe a trinity of the westeros faiths:
jon-tree folk old gods
Dany-lord of light
tyrione - many-faced-god

Sansa continues to shine bright.
Littlefinger lucky to be alive carcetti still playing them stepping stone games thinking he was going to play sansa like the city of baltimore.
joorah is going to find that cure.
new red priestess is new and improved. the one that brought jon back is kelly rowland the one with tyrion and them is beyonce.
white walker origin. definition of creating a monster.
them little gyspy ash colored broads are kinda cute.
its been a ROUGH ass season for direwolves. they dropping like flies. all of em.
man Hodor.
that's all you can say about him.

Man she needs to quit playing and go on ahead and marry the wildling. no man is ever going to love her as hard as he will.

Remember: Bran didn't choose to travel back to Winterfell to see the young Hodor, The Three Eyed Raven took him there. Also TER TOLD Bran to "listen to his friend" and warg Hodor.

That is of immense significance because it establishes what TER said the prior episode, that the ink is already dry and you can't change the past.

That means all the time travel in the show is a closed loop. Anything Bran does while time traveling has already been done and thematically we get the opportunity to witness it first hand.

Time is a circle: some moments only exist because a moment in the future caused it.
"Interstellar" tried to explain this concept, ill post some shit later which made me kind of get it.

exactly. it's happened. we are just now witnessing happen finally grasping everything so it makes sense.
one singular loop that isn't past or future just is.

fuck hodor he deserved to die(if he is dead). cant be listening to a grown man saying hodor all day.

The poor guy is just asking someone to hold the door for him, since he's always carrying someone else around. After a while, "Hold the door" became "Hold the doorHold the doorHoldoorHodoor. Dammit! Hold the door!" His mind finally snapped, and now all he can say is Hodor.

Y'all do realize that Bran didn't do anything to Hodor? subliminally. It was Meera speaking through Bran's dreams. Bran provided the medium. Bran warged into Hodor WHILE he was in the past with 3 eyed Raven. Maybe THAT is where the seizure came from and Meera's message may have coincided with this and caused the message to take root. Ergo.... HODOR

That's only if you look at time as rigidly linear, if you think of time as fluid or circular, then the concept of "timelines" comes into place.

Like in Xmen DOFP...The events of the future world must have existed to force Wolverine to go back into the timeline that created those events.

By altering that past, he created a new timeline where the events of the first never happened. So in order for the second timeline to exist, the first must have existed.

Damn my head hurting too early on Monday lmao!

exactly. it's happened. we are just now witnessing happen finally grasping everything so it makes sense.

I think we are all over analyzing this hodor for thing.

1. Even if it is now a time loop like dude said with days of future past what did this situation do to offset the future.

2. Dude did bring an interesting point in saying bran didn't talk to hodor it was reen. She was yelling so loud in bran ear that it effected hodor. So they are both at fault for him.

joorah is going to find that cure.
^^^^ Agreed. :yes::yes:

Jorah needs to rush back to the city of Qarth & find that mystery woman named “Quaithe of the Shadow” again.

Because in Season 2, when the Bald Sorcerer stole Dany’s Dragons & took them to the House of the Undying….

During that time, Jorah meets a mysterious woman named “Quaithe”, who questions his loyalty to Khaleesi.

^^^ I THINK THIS CHIC PROBABLY KNOWS HOW TO CURE GREYSCALE.

Pay close attention to the intro of the 2nd video, below.

She is using ram’s blood to paint unique ‘magical symbols’ on a naked man’s body…. and the very first thing she tells Jorah is…. “This man must sail past Old Valyria ... ALL who travel too close to the Doom… MUST HAVE PROTECTION.”

She was DROPPING KNOWLEDGE on Jorah…. and he didn’t even realize :smh: that this was some shit HE (PERSONALLY) WOULD NEEED TO KNOW in the future.:rolleyes:

Sheeeeiiiiiiitttt…… She dropped that no-look “Assist” right on HIS HEAD…… She told Jorah, of all people.

Talk about 'foreshadowing'.

Think about it….

Anyone who KNOWS HOW TO OUTRIGHT PROTECT PEOPLE from the ‘Doom of Valeria’ (i.e. Greyscale)……. probably KNOWS HOW TO CURE IT ALSO.

Even if she cannot fully cure Jorah HERSELF…. I’d bet she knows the EXACT SUBSTANCE THAT CAN / OR PERSON WHO CAN.

nothing which is the point.
its not about offsetting the future. the future is the future. its been shaped its been molded its been set in motion and completed. we're just along for the ride in this loop so we witness everything from this current perspective as opposed to seeing it all at once.

oh i have no doubt he's going to get it done. probably by the end of the season.

So is it explained why the white walkers want ter and bran dead?

would it make sense because they're the ones who can go back, warn and stop them?
Shhheeeiiittttt... I think the White Walkers want the Children of the Forest dead.......... Or anyone who is rolling with them, or standing near them... Cuz they don't give a fuck who out there at 12:00 midnight. :smh:

Ok, cause they've been kinda quiet this season so far (early) and it looked personal as fuck (which would make sense based on how they were created) it looked like "oh i found where you rest your head and i can come in now we bout to handle this shit right now." type of deal

i kinda like the white walkers though

Nahhhhh, The Wire is still the GOAT to me. I have no problem with GoT being second, though.
I'm a huge fan of the wire, watched it all the way through 3 times... but at the end of the day it couldn't go into the depths of character development like GoT. That shit ain't explain how Marlo got to where he was, he just appeared an was all of a sudden better smarter and stronger than Avon an everybody else. This shit tie everything from season 1 ep 1 to this season, shit is deep

its different.
game of thrones is fantasy
the wire is real life.

I'm really surprised at the Dire Wolves getting killed off in meaningless ways. I have to wonder if it's a budget issue.

Meaningless, bran's died doing

What he's supposed to do! There

Were 1000's of the dead! That was

intense. All the children of the forest

Died.

funny you mention her...in the info that VAhustlaz dropped about TER being targaryen it hinted @ a fan theory that she is TER's half sister
