i believe the people in this sickening photograph are more than likely captured runaways. When a slave ran they knew that this could possibly be their fate but they were willing to take that chance and "sacrifice" themselves if they got caught in order to be free and give other slaves hope that they to could escape and be free. If no slaves ever took these types of chances and just waited on the "freedom" their masters told them they'd get in heaven if they stayed loyal and served their masters who knows where we would be today, i doubt surfing on BGOL

I'd never go as far as to say hate. But religious people in general are annoying when they get going on the topic, or if that's just how they kick it all the time. My lady's father is a deacon, and a few weeks back he was saying that we needed to prune the plants on according to their season. I said "I've never thought of that, thanks for the tip."
