At the end of the day, Lebron is seeking to protect his brand. The are dollars that correspond with being the best player in the NBA and being the best player in the world. Steph Curry appears extremely safe to White America and Lebron isn't. I can bring the topic of Lebron James up around Y.T's and they are still uptight about the g decision more than five years ago. The best thing that can happen for Lebron is a victory over the Warriors in the Finals.
Not only safe, but inspirational. all these non athletic CACS and non-blacks are envisioning themselves, their kids, and all their non-black peers and counterparts having a chance to be BBall stars. This is why the NBA media and sports writers are so committed to elevating Curry and the way he plays to GOD status as well as propping this current pussified version of the league vs. previous iterations. Theres never been a white or non-Black Lebron, Jordan or Kobe and there never will be. Ever. But theres been plenty of white boys that could shoot the lights out. They tired of watching the game being judged by criteria they dont meet so theyre changing the narrative and they all looking forward to a league with WHITE (or close to) stars again, Steph Curry is helping to set it up for them

I never said Curry was a better defender... Find one post where I said that. I said you are slow as fuck and weak ass fuck to bring up the weakest part of his game and try to create a dispute on it... Show me ONE post where I said Curry was a better defender, OR where I said he was the Greatest of all time...

You whole platform is as retarded and stupid as you are... :lol;
If you never said Curry was a BETTER defender...
And you never said Curry was the GOAT....

Then why the fuck are you even responding to my posts that dispute this ONE, single topic??

Oh yeah, that's right... it was your weak attempt to 'change the subject'.

Then you tried to call me out for 'deflecting' your dumbass attempt to 'change the subject' into a NEW (whole different) convo about 'Curry's offense shits on Magic's defense'..... when the original convo was about 'who was a BETTER DEFENDER.... Curry or Magic?' :hmm:

The OP said they were EQUAL on Defense.
I disagreed. And posted stats to prove WHY.

Son, log off. :hmm:

Your fuckery is making you look real silly. :hmm:

You out here... hurling wild insults :smh:... just because I wouldn't answer your dumbass opinion that was never 'in dispute' in the first place. :hmm:

Nigga. Please. :hmm:

Lebron is a natural stretch 4 and Curry is a PG. So why would a PG be in the post and a rebounder?
was Jordan a stretch 4? Cuz pretty much all those areas of his game were on point as well. And were talkin GOAT status, why wouldnt the GREATEST OF ALL TIME need to have all or multiple areas of the game on lock?

Jordan added a post game as he got older and lost a step. But his post game was on the elbow

So your response is yes? Because I put the qualifier (if he does this for a few more years).

I think you have a very small number of players in NBA history that have broken paradigms.. he's clearly one of them. I said 3 years ago on bgol that
he was clearly the greatest shooter of all time.. and he's even better now and it's not even close and might never ever be another real challenger to this. @alexw was even saying he wouldn't be surprised if this some Secretariat shit where you found out later his had physical advantages that made him almost like a mutant (secretariat had an oversized heart)... curry might have much better eyesight than normal human...
didn't sports science say steph's release is 30% faster than Lebron's.

People love giving Lebron a pass. As a Heat fan it use to make me sick to my stomach. The narrative that Lebron needs more help is crazy.

The Cavs have 4 max players and the Cavs easily take 1st place in the east without Lebron
:lol2: Cavs are 4-14 without Lebron. That's a fact, not speculation. Damn. Fuck did Lebron do to some of you cats?

Ok Rain Man... Don't forget to put your retainer in tonight so you don't swallow your tongue in your sleep retard!
All your post read like you have to take a deep breath and do a lot of blinking between sentences... First time in BGOL history a Nigga types slow... Nigga stutter typing! Whats your deal.. you got those claw thumbs Nigga!?

So... all due respect but, the MVP should be the best player on the worst/best team?!?! LeBron didn't do shit, but the fact remains, he is the first UNANIMOUS MVP in history, and no amount of bitching and whining is going to change that... That's been my whole point from minute one.... Also, again, should LeBron's MVP with the Heat be voided because his team needed him less than some other teams needed their stars? That argument is foolish...

Them dudes still have to beat OKC...Then they have to beat the Cavs
Odds not in GS favor this year as long as Cleveland is healthy

Eye sight better than 20/20?[/QUOTE]

When I saw something on Ray Allen a few years back they were saying he has above average "spacial recognition".. it was one of those sports science things

When Curry shot like 89 percent from the corners in one playoff series or some shit like that, I was like.. oh.. that's not even just great shooting..this dude is a mutant

When Steph is required to be the best scorer, defender, rebounder, passer, and low post threat on his team, get back to me.

Why should he be expect to do that? The whole purpose of building a team is to build around your superstar player

Take the Heat MVP and give him a unanimous one for the Cavs before he left for the Heat. When Lebron was leading shit teams to impressive records and accomplishments, people always looked to knock him. When Shaq was dominating, they did the same thing. Same with Jordan.

Curry is getting royal treatment. He's doing big things, but the reception is so much different than it was for James, Shaq, and even Jordan. I remember when Brons team had a way better record than the Heat and both supporting casts weren't shit. But the media couldn't help put try to force an MVP race. :smh:

All Due respect, but you just explained why a Curry thread ends up being 20 pages of hating ass posts... Also, while those Dudes were dominating, they were doing it in a way thats been seen before. As great as they were, it was still rerun and replay... We have NEVER seen a player do the shit Curry does, which is why the Curry phenomenon is >>>>>> than any of the players you mentioned.

It is what it is...

If you're going to say that a player that has to have screen set for him, has to be taken off every good point guard defensively, and is not even as good a passer as the power forward on his team is more valuable than someone that can guard all five positions, can lead your team in rebounds, is one of the best passers ever, and can take the other team's best player away defensively, then there's not shit I can say to that.

Steph is the greatest shooter I have ever seen by far. He deserved the MVP. He's got great handles.

But.

Magic did more than score.
Bird did more than score.
Oscar did more than score.
Jordan did more than score.
Kobe did more than score.
LeBron did more than score.

Let's not lower standards.
