We bet the Heat vs Cavs series straight up. Heat lose, you don't post. Cavs lose, I don't post. I'm not scared of the Heat, you scared of the Cavs? :lol2:

I know for a fact the Heat gonna win.. Kyrie and Love frigile asses will not even make it that far

The NBA is full of shit and should stop with the mentioning of bad calls within the last two minutes of the game. There's bad calls all throughout every game so they should focus on fixing all officiating and not just within the last two minutes of each game.

especially if they're not going to change the outcome of the game after the fact.

keep that bullshit to yourself

I feel kind of sorry for Memphis on the low. Way out matched. All they can do is play hard and lose. They hustled and went after it tonight. But what can you really do?

I think what makes me feel sorry for them is they not even beefing with the Spurs. There is no drama between them. So for them it's purely pride of the game.

Both teams respect the hell out of each other. Memphis knows they dont stand a shot. But they are being professionals and putting up a hell of a effort.

Hypocritical ass bastards! Trying to get more fine money I guess! They say this dumb shit, pisses off players and coaches by putting a magnifying glass on this, THEN when players and coaches say something they get fined! Fuck them! If I was the Ref Union head I would bitch about this too. Makes them all look bad...

Aldridge was thoroughly unimpressive tonite. Leonard balled on both ends as usual.

:smh: and

Dudes are playing hard as hell... Respect even in a sweep they earned, being undermanned and shit...

Cavaliers notebook: Kyrie Irving starting to find 3-point range against Pistons

AUBURN HILLS, MICH.: Of all the things Detroit Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy had to worry about entering his team’s first-round series with the Cavaliers, defending Kyrie Irving’s 3-point shot apparently wasn’t near the top of his list.

Irving shot a career-low 32 percent from 3-point range during the regular season, but made 9-of-17 3-pointers (53 percent) through the first two games of the series. Even more impressive, Van Gundy noted Irving made 4-of-9 pull-up 3-pointers off the dribble after shooting 29 percent on those during the regular season.

“He had a tough year shooting the ball from range but in this series he’s been terrific shooting the ball from range,” Van Gundy said of Irving. “Which means you’ve got to get up on him, play him further from the basket and it makes it tougher to cut off his lanes to the basket.”

The Cavs tied an NBA playoff record by making 20 3-pointers in Game 2 and overall entered Friday’s Game 3 shooting 44 percent from deep in the series.

“The thing is they’ve had quality attempts, too. They’ve had good looks,” Van Gundy said. “They’re a very, very good offensive team, one of the best in the league. They’ve had their way with us and the 3-point line has been a big part of it. We’ve got to do some very basic things better. We’ve got to get back and get matched up and limit their 3-point attempts in transition.”

No complaining

LeBron James doesn’t want the Cavs to turn any clips into the league over the physical play in the series and insists he isn’t paying much attention to the Pistons’ tactics.

The Cavs were expected to submit to the league clips of Marcus Morris and Andre Drummond hitting James with what they deemed were unnecessary elbows during the Cavs’ Game 2 victory. James, though, said they shouldn’t bother and that he doesn’t feel like the Pistons are targeting him.

“Even if they are [targeting], that’s not even what I’m concerned about,” he said. “My concern is I’ve got to continue to be aggressive, put pressure on their defense, continue to find my guys when they’re open and continue to defend and help my guys on the glass with big Drummond. So I hope we don’t send anything into the league because it’s not about that.”

Stanley Johnson has been the most outspoken Pistons player in the series. At various points the rookie has complained about the way officials treat James, claimed to be in James’ head, threatened to throw him to the ground and essentially called him fake.

He’s certainly not the first player to make a run at James. Deshawn Stevenson and Lance Stephenson both tried similar tactics with James, although neither was ever able to beat him in a playoff series.

“For me, at the end of the day, I can control what I can control and that’s how I go out and play the game,” James said. “There’s always going to be conversation outside of the four lines and how much you can indulge into it can take away your focus from what the main thing is, and I know what the main object is here and that’s to be the leader of this team and get these guys ready for a very high-intense game. I don’t get caught up into anything.”

Remembering Prince

James acknowledged Prince was one of the artists he listened to as a kid and calledPurple Rain one of his favorite movies one day after the legendary artist died unexpectedly. James even dressed up as Prince during the Halloween party he hosted for teammates last fall.

“I just think we’re losing a lot of our heroes a lot earlier than expected,” James said. “As an artist and what he did for music and for people’s lives, like my mother and the people who grew up around that era, he was special. … It’s just unfortunate that we continue to lose some of our heroes so young in age.”

The way the west ended this year, it just about 2nd and 3rd round of the playoffs; none of the 1st round is compelling; Blazers should win 1 game but they dont seem to do well against the Clips; I thought they would be more competitive though; Just waiting for OKC vs Spurs and Clips vs GS...
