When people talk about defense they are speaking about "On Ball Defense" and not a good team defender.

2. The ball is 1 pass away he was in a good deny position at times

Like I said in another post. Curry is my favorite player and I defend him a lot but man I am not going to call him a great on ball defender. That is just disrespectful to the players who are. Curry plays great team defense and is very smart and crafty on the defensive end of the court. But let us not confuse that with a lock down defender.

I good analogy would be defensive backs. There are some Defensive backs who can lock down their man and zone without help. When it relates to basketball there are players who don't need help and can shut down a player or area by themselves. Like Sherman and Dieon
Curry would be more of a zone corner who is smart and crafty that can lock his man down at times by himself but works better with help over the top because he lacks certain physical attributes.
