NFL Free Agency 2016....

The moment you go to ESPN and see your team is talking to Johnny Manziel

I agree, but I think Kap just want to get the the hell out of San Francisco

Kubiak will coach him up and he will do well in his offense

Hater :D

Not really. Just keeping it a buck. No way Kap should take a 5 million dollar paycut to play in Denver. If you want him pay the man. Or work out a trade. The thing is, you don't want an unhappy qb. If you were to get a deal that way, you may get a deal type of effort.:dunno:

But the thing is too. Elway may/ is going to look crazy if he pays the full amount and they both bomb 17 mil. Denver fans will say, minus whale have paid Brock. Check mate.

Ultimately, you got your SB, be happy.:hmm:

Trent Richardson expects to sign with Ravens

Trent Richardson will get another chance.

The former No. 3 overall pick told the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrbiec on Thursday that he expects to sign with the Baltimore Ravens in time to start offseason workouts on April 18.

"I can't wait," Richardson said. "I feel like I did when I left home from high school to go to college. To me, it's about earning an opportunity that they gave him. I'm in a position to earn a spot on the team, a chance to actually be that guy. I know there's going to be a lot of competition. I know there's going to be a lot of fighting among ourselves, but we're all out there for the same thing. We all want to try and get better, we all want to be that guy. But at the same time, I'm coming in and I'm ready to work."

Richardson worked out for the Ravens early last month, but left without a contract. Coach John Harbaugh said at the NFL Annual Meeting that Baltimore had an unofficial agreement with Richardson, adding that he hoped no team swooped in and made a better offer for the running back.

No one did.

The 25-year-old tailback sat out all of 2015 after being cut by the Oakland Raiders. He has a career average of 3.3 yards per carry average. Last month Richardson admitted it was easy to become lazy in the NFL. He also showed up to his workout with theRavens overweight.

Now, with perhaps his last chance coming, Richardson says he's dropped weight and ready to show he can be a pro.

"I've got a lot to prove to myself," he said. "It's not about everybody else this time, it's about me. I'm really giving it my all. It's enough talk. We've been doing a lot of talking. Now it's just time to put up."

Richardson is far from a lock to make the Ravens roster. He'll come in well behind Justin Forsett, Buck Allen, Lorenzo Taliaferro and Terrance West. Ozzie Newsome is giving another former Alabama grad the chance to reignite a career, but the odds are stacked against Richardson.

Brock was going to leave Denver anyways,I posted a story about him not wanting to face the pressure of following Manning.

You would think he would be up to the challenge, since he had 7 games under his belt and have a defense that's basically intact.....

I don't have a problem with Brock wanting to get his money, but you can't tell me he's in a better situation in Houston than in Denver.

Brock is too stupid to realize that he has to go to Denver in the regular season,so he better be prepare, because some of the defensive players were pissed that he ran off

Not only is Brock is a coward for not wanting to follow Manning,he's a bitch for throwing a dayum fit for getting bench in the last game of the season...

If he wasn't pissed for being benched, hes a pussy with no competitive instincts. Who the hell submits and accepts some shit like that man?!?!

Him not wanting to follow Manning doesn't make him a coward... I don't think that is the reason, I believe the disrespect he felt at being benched was the real reason why he left. Also, were the Bronco's willing to offer him the same bread he got from Houston?

Why would any quarterback feel some kind of way,for getting bench by a Hall of Fame quarterback, especially when you had three turnover in the most important game of the season. If,we would loss that game against San Diego,no way in hell we was going to go to Foxboro in the AFC Championship and win there,so Kubiak had to make a choice to keep Brock in or put Manning in the game,so we can win it to get homefield.

I understand,Brock played alot better than Manning, but when you have homefield on the line and the team isn't responding something need to be done.

As,for the Broncos, from what I understand the Brock was very distant to the Broncos, during negotiations.Elway offer Brock 3 years for 45 million(don't know how much of the guaranteed it was),but Elway did try one last time, right before Brock signed with the Texans.

Houston Texans owner Bob McNair spoke today at NFL's Owner meetings and shed light as to why quarterback Brock Osweiler chose the Texans over the Denver Broncos during free agency.

He said the shadows of General Manager John Elway and quarterback Peyton Manning were too big for Osweiler and he wanted a fresh start elsewhere.

"I guess the thing that really helped us is that he does like our offense, and Coach Bill O'Brien gives the quarterback a little more leeway at the line of scrimmage and all quarterbacks like that," McNair said. "I think that helped. And then of course, he had played behind Peyton Manning and with John Elway there. Their shadows were quite large. He was still going to be under that and compared to them. He has a chance to be a real hero in Houston. And we’ve got a good ball club so I think all those things entered into it."

McNair added that Osweiler's agent told him that these factors were important to him.

There were many reports/rumors leaking out after Osweiler signed with the Texans stating exactly what McNair said today. Osweiler didn't want to be in Denver.

He reportedly wasn't returning phone calls to teammates and coaches, Osweiler was very distant during negotiations, and it was clear to Broncos General Manager John Elway a week before free agency began that Osweiler just did not want to be back with the team.

Hours after Osweiler signed John Elway released a statement on the Broncos website stating that he will continue building a team with players who want to be here.

"We’ve stayed true to our philosophy of building a team with players who want to be Denver Broncos and want to be here. That’s been a successful approach for us.

While we did offer a very competitive and fair long-term contract to Brock, we ultimately had to remain disciplined while continuing to assemble a roster that can compete for championships.

We’ve now turned our attention to other options at quarterback and are confident that we’ll find the right player and person for our team," Elway said. "Our organization thanks Brock for his contributions and wishes him all the best."

If it wasn't already clear, it's very clear now that Brock Osweiler did not want to be a Denver Broncos player going forward.

Again, being a competitor, anybody who takes pride in their craft and is competitive doesn't want to take a back seat to anybody! As great as Peyton has been, anybody would want to be the starting quarterback in a playoff and championship season. He would be a damn fool to feel like Peyton was better than him or he couldn't get the job done himself. Your point about him being pissed about being benched is off balance. Ask ANY person on this board or who has played a sport competitively, and I guarantee you not one of them would say they would be ok being put on the bench for anybody, regardless of who it was...

And as far as wanting to make his own name, that falls in the same context. He wants to blaze his own trail, and for me, if I wasn't good enough in their opinion last season, then peace...

As far as Im concerned, he did the right thing. He didn't owe Elway or the Broncos a damn thing. They made what they felt was the best decision for the team last year, as was their right, and he made what he felt was the best decision for his career and legacy, which was his right...

The Broncos traded Ryan Clady for a fifth round from the Jets last night....

Broncos needed to do that to free up space,I'm going to assume Elway has more cap room, since he traded Clady.

If,he was so pissed about getting bench in that last game,he should of performed alot better...period.

Throwing two interceptions and coughing up a fumble isn't going to give a GM and coach confidence when you're doing that at the end of game.

At the end of the day,I have no problem with wanting his money, but don't say you wanted to be a Bronco when you made it very clear you didn't want to be there, before free agency started.

Like,I said,he has to come to Denver in the regular season and we will see,if he made the right decision or not.

his career isn't defined by those two games in Denver bruh... He made the right decision for his own career... As I said, he didn't owe Denver a damn thing. He's saying the right things, but ultimately, as I said, no real competitor is going to just be happy about a benching point blank... Not a foregone conclusion y'all win those games either Bruh. Peyton is gone... Not like you have a better QB under center now really. No dog in this fight, but not sure you win those games...

UH OH... Broncos have enough space to sign Kaepernick now
First Jim Harbaugh & now possibly Kaepernick
If Kap balls out for the Broncos, the 49ers front office might go down as the worse in all of NFL history

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

If this is true, good for Cleveland. They can fill alot of holes by trading the #2 pick. Guess they figure either Rg3 is gonna take em places or he's gonna last til week3...in that case Cleveland will be picking in the top #2 next year and they can get the qb then.

This deal might be in the works...

trade2.jpg

That trade is moronic for everyone except the Bronco's. Like the Browns are getting a bunch of picks but they can't draft for shit so why in the fuck would you go BACK into the draft where you have a lesser chance of getting a player. And Bills retarded too for getting rid of a quarterback.

The black QB stay getting shitted on fam :smh:. The problem with the Bills is Rex Ryan.

I just don't get it. He has a career year and now its time to get rid of him. Shit is moronic. Hell the only person that wins in this deal is the Bronco's and Tyrod. I hope he goes there if this how the Bills running their organization.

I know they met with Paxton Lynch last week..but they could get him in the middle or end of the first rd..no way they would take him 2nd overall. Maybe their target is Jaylen Ramsey..and they plan on making a trade for Kapernick...reuniting him with his old OC

anyways I ain't gonna believe this until I see it's official
