He is the default blame button for KD and Im tired of it. He be the only one out there with heart most of the time. there have been plenty nights where they could've caught the L but he just didn't let it happen. Now, it don't always work and sometimes he's off with the shot and it don't work out.
those nights he gets the FULL blame like KD wasn't playing and letting the shit go down lol. Kd don't get no blame.

when they lost to the warriors in OKC everyone was like russell didn't show up in ot which he didn't

but damn kd got trapped didn't call a timeout threw the turnover to get it to overtime and then fouled out the damn game

Kd staying in okc. Besides the warriors that's his best bet to win a championship.I just can't see him going to the warriors to be the second or third option on that team. He would have to completely change the way he plays cause he just doesn't fit in their offense. Now I'm one of him Westbrook's biggest fans but they gotta figure shit out together. Especially defensive.38 points given up in the fourth is horrible

no idea what you're talking about. he fits seamlessly in their offense and he would never even have to dribble. just come down court spot up and shoot or cut to the rim and get layups because there's going to be so much space and so much attention paid to them you wouldn't really be able to guard all 3.
all 3 can shoot lights out from distance the lane is going to look like a wide open resort

Like I said he'd have to change up his game. It could fit seamlessly but with Kd always been a iso player I dont see it being working for his game.I just don't think he wants to go to a team to be their second or third option. Now if he was 35ish maybe..... But now?nahhhh

you didn't give an example of how he'd have to change up his game. he wouldn't have to change up his game. he would actually have more room to do whatever he wanted because you can't cheat off of steph and klay.

Kobe didn't shoot off the dribble like Klay and Steph. A lot of those jumpers Steph and Klay are shooting are them moving around and then receiving the ball.

Magic was leading the fast break...leading the squad...a actual floor general.

Magic's assist weren't coming from Kareem. Kareem's points were coming up from posting and the skyhook. You don't get an assist for that.

Same for Worthy when he takes the baseline around his defender. That's not an assit. It is an assist when Magic is leading the fast break and he dishes to Worthy for the layup.

Draymond isn't making plays, he's spotting the open player. They're often putting Draymond Green at the top of the key like you would playing against a zone and then he's spotting Curry or Klay moving to an open spot.

That's not the same to me as someone who is actually setting up shots for their teammates.

Would any of you say Green is an exceptional passer?

Would he get the same assist totals on another team?

I'm seriously not trying to mix in with you Bruh, just trying to understand
your logic. So, essentially what you are saying is, unless someone
dribbles the ball up court, or is the primary ball handler for the play,
their assist should be evaluated differently? So, the definition of an
assist is a pass which leads directly to a made basket. So, in Draymonds
case, what is it that should cause his assists to essentially be
invalidated?

felt like i gave two...1. him running so many isolation plays 2. not being the primary option. i agree that he'd have easier scoring plays but just dont think he'd be the same volume player he is in okc.

1 he can run iso down the court every time if he's on fire. steph does when he is.
2 there is no primary option on the warriors. They try to get everyone going and if 1 person is on...then they get the ball. if both are on...then they both get the ball.
