2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

Funny i didnt hear people complaining about back to backs and injuries before the game.

Very odd.

I wasn't here before it but back to back is not an issue in my mind. the injuries are. best low post defender and best player coming off the bench is huge against a team that is full strength.
and the game was still close.

Look at the numbers.

Warriors:

37.8% shooting (31/82 FGs)
9/36 three pointers
8/10 FTs
37 rebounds (7 off.)
24 assists
11 turnovers
12 steals
3 blocks

Spurs:

41.0% shooting (32/78 FGs)
8/21 three pointers
15/18 FTs
53 rebounds (14 off.)
17 assists
18 turnovers
4 steals
6 blocks

Points in paint:

Warriors: 32
Spurs: 36

Fastbreak points:

Warriors: 11
Spurs: 4

Points off of turnovers:

Warriors: 11
Spurs: 7

Bench points:

Warriors: 21
Spurs: 13

Spurs got more boards which pretty much was the difference and for all the calls the warriors were getting they made more free throws than the warriors even attempted the entire game.

warriors played some good ass defense just needed a few of those shots to fall and its a closer contest or even a win.

good job spurs.

Road Rage talking about it is a conspiracy against the Cavs. We tried to tell him Lebron if given control would fuck things up. Then you have Kyrie doing what he wants to do and not thinking about passing

First it was the refs , than it was the scheduling. What's next?

Dude, my Dad always told me never to debate with a crazy person. Think on it, he said the inception of the Euro Style move mas spoken of by Stern, which was even before LeBron went to Miami. He had great success in Miami, and Rage wasn't bitching, yet, he goes to Cleveland and basically Chip Kelly's that team, and they aren't as good as Rage THINKS they are, so NOW all of a sudden, with all that's going on... the league has given energy and time to created a conspiracy ONLY AGAINST LEBRON?!?!? Dude is so psychotic about this Man I really think he needs help, because he clearly believes the bullshit he types... Notice, none of this BS was typed when the schedules were first put out, there weren't any long ass posts about it then, ONLY when LeBron and them look as bad as they look is it now an issue... I really feel sorry for Rage man, seems harmless enough but mentally he is seriously fucked up.... :smh:

Shots are always going to be a bigger caveat for GSW than any other team because as great as they are shooting the ball... one of the greatest jump shooting teams I've ever seen, and they do have great movement (even though the effeciveness is predicated on movement), they really don't have a plan b when their shot is not falling, which is the way this team is constructed. They aren't really versatile offensively, just versatile in terms of perimeter personnel.

The Cavs organization is crap. Firing David Blatt really makes no sense now. Blatt was 30-11 without Kyrie Irving. With a complete healthy squad Ty Lue is 18-9:smh:

Lebron was adamant about Blatt not picking up Mozgov and even tried to go over his head. Blatt new about Mozgov because he coached him before. Lebron was saying he would clog up the lane. Mozgov arrives and the Cavs finish the season 34-9. Then go a dominant run in the playoffs.

The Cavs signing T Thompson to that contract was silly. They could have used that money more wisely. Delly is a hustler I get that but he should have been upgraded but they did nothing but give him more minutes.:smh:

Now Mozgov can't even get minutes.

Don't forget GS had no Iggy, Bogut or Ezile.... Spurs ain't win convincingly, they had to make the game ugly...

Yeah adding Frye fucked things up

Late in the season they're still trying to figure out who to play
Frye was actually a good grab tho. But yea, it's a issue when you still defining roles.

Nigga copping pleas from the donut shop the next morning. :smh:

It's doesn't matter how a team wins. If this was a playoff series and spurs lose game 1 by 30 and win game 2 by 7 playing ugly bball it wouldn't matter. It didnt matter how the heat got their ass handed to them being down 3-2 to SA in the chip because the heat eventually won the series.

Regardless of who GS didn't have last night, they lost. Just like Love and Kyrie wasn't playing in the playoff series against GS. Of course the game is different if squads are healthy, but I think we should be way past the excuses for any team.

GS shot poorly and spurs played good D. Yes, the game would be different if GS was full strength, but also SA is a better team than that 30 point lose in January (two months ago).

Its basketball. No excuses, no cops (pun not intended) and no pleas.

Frye and Love do the same thing. Frye is just shooting better for now. Cavs are a mess.

Great win last night for the heat fans.
