I know this is a random question but I figured i'd ask you bruthas.
Say you have went to a Barbershop and to the same Barber for years. Then the barber leaves that barber shop and starts cutting hair in his home. Is it fair to charge the same price he was charging at the Barbershop?

???????????????????????

The service is the service

Location doesn't matter.

U think yo 25 dollar cut at palace fades should be 10 at 4E?

Nope. The location is the convenience for you.

Now if famo doesn't have all his tools and equipment then yea the charge should be lowered

Barbers don't be having that facial brush n shit smfh

If the barber has e rrything setip to look like a barber shop then it "Can" be the same price. If he has you in a chair in his kitchen the it should probably be cheaper.

Thanks man. He sent a text saying he was cutting from home and put pics of his setup. It does look like he has everything. Just that $25 for a home cut seemed a lil steep.

Better question:

What do you do if your barber retires or dies?

My barber has been cutting my hair since I was 12. I might need to learn from him once he's gone. I ain't letting no one else cut my hair. :scared:

You fuck with Pat don't you?

It's a valid question though. But he went through the same transition, if anything its worth it if you get the appointment and don't have to wait in line or be around niggas you don't know or trust.

Had the same situation with my barber except it was offered as an upgrade.

The more I think about it, his house is a better deal for me anyway. Its closer and parking is easier. Its just that its been so long since I started getting cuts in homes and the price was like half(the barbers were unlicensed ,cutting in their bathroom and had questionable activity in the house). I was trippin the more I think about it. Thanks yall.

Nigga is seriously a partite comedian... but he cuts are solid...

I am actually looking for a good barber now the dude I was going to for like 12 years started fucking up on the customer service and I had to roll.

Yeah I'm not going to the Bottoms man. I'm in the East. Not going past the Lake for a cut. You should mess with Jabari. I'm EXTRA picky when it comes to cuts and dude is a standout. I suspect he is cutting out his house to stack for his own shop. He is a Comedian too. Now that I think about it, most of the best barbers are comedians.

I was in your shoes man. I did some research took me like 5 months and I finally found a barber. Fine ass chick. And it's not a hustle spot it's a regular barbershop. She cuts my hair exactly how my old barber did.

id def take a day time home cut.

Why should he charge less? He isn't renting a chair at the shop anymore so he has more money in his pockets now, that's a good thing right?

Yes, he is a professional and you're paying for his service. Now, if he downgraded his level of service, then I'd question his fees.

The days of not being able to find a good barber are long gone, every shop will have that one guy who want to avoid but legitimate barbers today had to go to school to be certified and a good shop owner isn't going to let some lame barber who fuck people's hair up stay in his shop

Damn, lucky mother fucker. I wouldn't mind finding a female barber. Then I would no longer have to avoid awkward eye contact when my beard is getting shaped up.

I hope so. There's this one guy at my barbers that literally gets no customers. His seat is always empty. I can tell he looks hurt but there ain't shit I can do for him. There's a reason why his seat is perpetually vacant.
