What's crazy to me is that Hillary is winning the black vote a rate that even Obama didn't win it during the dem primary in 2008. It's crazy how strong the Clinton brand is with black people.
Man i expected it with 35+ crowd (those who were old teens or adults when she was in the white house)... but im surprised its so strong with young people... Like i said earlier, i even called my 50 something cousin in SC (who is female, mother, wife, church goer) and she was shocked and disappointed herself man..

She has had a 20 plus year start. No one knew about Sanders a year ago. She won the South which was expected. Still... People don't know him and they probably see his campaign as a white campaign. They can't remember last year. It is obvious that they didn't hear about the excerpts from her book trying to distance herself from the Obama administration. I am also assuming one of the main reasons too was that people weren't expected to live this long when the Constitution bwas written. Maybe they aren't activists. They just go to work and raise a family. Maybe you were a black person that was neither on welfare nor in prison (I know it's shocking to think) and you actually did well during the 90s. Maybe you voted your experience.
Maybe there can be more than one black experience. Maybe the people most affected by the crime bill and the welfare bill will never vote for a Clinton, and they have every right to feel that way... But maybe, that's a small, very small, part of the voting black electorate.
Maybe, black middle class people that have worked hard and have a good job with good health insurance aren't so eager to have their taxes raised and give up their health insurance.
Maybe it takes more than Bernie taking 5 mins out of a hour speech to talk about criminal justice reform for all people and 55 minutes talking about free college and free healthcare, and hating wall street to reach Black voters.
Maybe instead of blaming black voters, you blame the candidate whose job it is to win their votes, black men.

Black Bernie supporters better realize that Sanders never gave a fuck about you. Ever. Sanders raised $35 million last month but didn't run any ads in Virginia. None at all. I work in advertising....$35 million is enough to run TV ads in multiple states. Sanders said fuck it and went to Colorado, Vermont and a bunch of states that barely have Black people there.
