They probably gave her a free ticket to the show for that bullshit.
I don't get why she was out there... what she was talking about.. etc. It was extra-strange.. did the joke get fucked up? that shit was hella fucking weird.
For a pure WTF moment to get social media talking, and because she's too clueless to realize the joke's been on her in recent years. Pun intended. She sold out some years ago & has shown her true self on Faux News with her involvement.

The only way it makes sense to me is if Chris played the absolute shit out of her to make a joke.
Hopefully that was his angle (joke fully being on her selling out in recent years).

She made the comments about the hypocrisy and divisiveness of blacks in having black history month and their own award shows and programming... The Oscars current state of affairs proves the need of them all. Putting her on shows her idiocy and possibly her sense of humor (or cluelessness).

Yeah. I understood the significant of her being there, but I missed the "joke" or just misunderstood or... or they just fucked up the execution.
But I'm thinking Rock just played her hard and just having her up there period was the joke?
I think the joke was on her. I think it was so awkward because she wasn't "in on it".

To get the joke you'd had to know how she's been all over Fox News saying there should be no Black History Month. That in itself makes no sense because i'm sure most of that audience had no idea... if they even remember who she is.
That's exactly why it didn't go over because that majority white crowd probably doesn't know about her comments. I thought cats here would get it.
Yeah. I'm sure most people in the audience or watching wouldn't even have gotten the joke even it was executed well. So. I'm feeling like that joke was specifically for the black audience....and I still feel like she wasn't in on it.
