let's keep it in context.....Kerry won the popular vote and looked as if he would have gotten the electoral as well by taking Florida had the GOP leaning SCOTUS not stopped the recount.

So that isn't really a great comparison....and Kerry was uninspiring who was also trying to unseat an incumbent during a war which has never happened

Kerry lost Ohio. He was just a 'blah' candidate. Democrats don't do well with those candidates. The last two democratic presidents were superstars that got people excited. In 2008 was history making....the first black president of the United States
People who didn't know jack shit about politics came out to support Obama

I agree.....If Sanders can get his message out and his team can get the young voters mobilzed to go vote he has a chance.

And I mean young black voters...He also has to attracts some of the older black voters that Hillary seems to have on lock which is very possible if the young voters get excited because they will talk to their aunts uncles and parents.

Trump is the anti-candidate and the anger feeds of of him. Rubio is establishment and that crowd isn't interested in the establishment.

The only thing that hurts Trump in the general will be if the establishment voters stay home....even though he is getting the majority of the votes their turnout isn't huge.

Supposedly in Nevada they weren;t checking ID's and the caucus volunteers were wearing Trump gear and pressuring voters....There very well may have been a stolen caucus by Trump because it was a blowout

Really wonder what life would be like in a Trump presidency. The thought is hilarious and scary at the same time. One thing is obvious, if you haven't stepped your game up before, stop procrastinating.
The GOP has really backed themselves in a corner with their candidates. I believe either Democrat would get a massive turnout simply because the GOP has us scared out of our minds. I wasn't impressed with President Obama's overly-cooperative but politically shrewd first term. My plan was to not vote in protest but I had to when I saw what the alternative could be. The Hillary haters (and I am one of them) will be thinking the same thing next year. I wouldn't worry about the turnout on the Democrat side.

Sanders has a huge fight on his hands. The numbers he is putting up are amazing considering the push Hillary has received. I think more black voters stay home if Hillary wins. Just so much baggage with her. People are underestimating the number of democrats who will stay home. Even Sanders is a huge letdown after the excitement Obama gave us.
