2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

Is Bosh injury prone becasue he is out again and always seem to be injured a few weeks in the year? To me injury prone is someone like Greg Olden, Rose or someone who injuries has hampered his style of play.. To me Love and Irving tend to get bumps and bruises due to the style they play, not due to them being fragile...

No they dont get bumps and bruises; they are always hurt; Bosh was diagnose with a disease last year, thats not injury prone; other than that, hes been healthy his whole career; Irving has been hurt since college; Love has been hurt every year; not comparable to Bosh..

Golden State vs the League

The Warriors, as currently constructed, vs the remaining best players available in the NBA. Basically an all star team vs the Warriors.

Who wins? Is it close? Does Golden State stand a chance?

Mello in Cleveland. I hope he understands nothing's there . Jr Smith was bored to tears when he first arrived.

Golden State has 3 all stars. And a former 1 coming off their bench.

Melo Kevin Love trade rumor?

Shit don't alive nothing for me!!!!

Only way I'd be down for this is

Moving Lebron to the pg and let the offense flow thru Melo at the 3...

Don't want no fucking small ball,

Lebron
Kyrie
Melo
????(gotta be a defensive minded 4)
TT

Man, if those 4 can't play defense together then that a crying shame.

They need a shooter man. In this league today. Your team better have a shooter. Go with Ryan Anderson like you said before. If melo comes to the Cavs, then Bron should have just stayed in Miami.

Damn it's done came down to this discussion.
It's a valid discussion tho. At this point is Golden State, then everyone else.

League viewership overall is DOWN this year and some are speculating that it's due in large part to the Warriors. They are far and away the best team in the league. Everyone else is playing for first loser.

So, who wins? Golden State as currently constructed or a team of NBA All Stars?

Seriously, what team beats them?

Its a weak league with no hand checking rules and refs who help the Warriors.

Nah seriously, Golden State is the favorites to repeat no matter what trade goes down. If they dont win it all its a chokejob

True.

Give me

Wall
Butler
Durant
Bron
Anthony Davis

2unit
Westbrook
Chris Paul
Leonard
Paul George
Bosh

But that assuming we have chemistry. I think that's a nice mix of shooting, speed, and defense with decent size.

You hit on the keyword....

CHEMISTRY

I'm sure you can get a starting team that will run with the Warriors, but will they have that chemistry and team awareness, especially on the defensive end, to either pull away from or lock down the Warriors?

In a 7 game series i think the All Stars would pull it out.......but one game?

Mannnnnnn i dunno. The Dubs definitely got a shot

Really that's the main thing with them, it's chemistry.

A team with less talent with good chemistry is a threat to anyone.

And if I'm being honest, that team you listed, they still might get run by the Warriors even in 7 games.

Davis can crash the boards but you'd also need LeBron dedicated to rebounding as well. Durant not known for rebounding so that's a loss there. That starting 5 you listed although long is still in essence a little undersized and there's not a lot of help coming from the bench.

If you throw Russ in the starting 5 you get a little more help on the boards but damn he can't afford to leave his man because a long rebound or tap out to a wide open Curry and that's money.

If you got the rest of the players in the league against the warriors they win more than likely. Because you match talent with their 1st and 2nd unit.

The part of the warriors that's good is the chemistry and above average talent level on the 2nd unit. There's a drop off but not a significant one when their 2nd unit is in the game that's why they can rest half of quarters and not play entire 4th quarters and still be ok.

They wouldn't be able to do that against a tailor made all star team with westbrook and them coming off the bench as one roster self put together had.

I'm a defensive minded type person, so if I have the proper coaching with that team, then rebounding wouldn't be an issue. Defense and rebounding is all about effort. In the Case of playing against GS, it's about discipline as well. This team I assembled can do that without issue under the correct coaching.

Durant can rebound well if forced to play bigger. we know Bron can, butler is defensive minded and wall is a dynamic PG. I chose Davis based on what he can do if he was a true center with the ability to move on the perimeter. That's a tough matchup for anyone in the league guarding Davis.

I get what you're saying, but the squad I assembled given that they have chemistry is tough as hell. The job isn't to stop curry but put pressure on everyone else having to play against Bron, Durant, and Davis.

Nah man anything can happen. Everybody (not you) is trying to act like they didn't spend all summer shitting on this fluke of a team and expecting them to come crashing down to reality as 1 hit wonders who had no chance of being that good again. they looked at them like they were the hawks

NOW everybody (not you) is like they so good they historic we knew they'd be better not this good ...lying... everybody automatically said the clippers would be better. said the rockets were right there and getting beverly back and ty lawson was huge. the spurs with aldridge put them way over the top and if okc is healthy they better than the warriors too.

steph ain't got no shot to be mvp again and they overpaid for draymond green.

They have a shot to repeat because everybody else motivated them to work harder. still do right now. chuck just said curry ain't shit but a shooter. they read the news clippings. Them dudes are focused but being focused doesn't automatically ensure a victory. so we have to wait until june anything can happen. warriors been injured this entire year during this entire run

they need to get fully healthy again at the right time and then we can see.

The Cavs still wouldnt win a championship. The warriors still would win 4-2 more than likely just cause of team chemistry and better role players. Cant blame these teams for trying to get better tho. Just waiting to see if anyone pulls the gun tho.

Idk know about that? Lbj,melo,Kyrie.
I wouldn't be as hurt sacrificing melo to cavs to go up against golden state. Cause they ain't fair

It's going to take time, which is why the warriors are in it for at another 2 years. You have to be able to build that team chemistry like the warriors had to do.

I love the talent Minny has for their future. They have that potential. So does Utah. But they are going to have to birth a superstar. I think Towns is going to be that guy. He is young and getting his teachings from KG. If the trade, sign, and draft the right pieces. Watch out.

Melo to the Cavs

Would he waive his trade clause for that?

Is he even a fit next to Lebron?

He just wants to dominate the ball and have everyone spread out to shoot

Same thing Bron does, would really work?

The key is defense. Use your defense to generate offense. That's what made the heat dangerous. That what the warriors do. Scoring ain't the issue for many of these teams. It's their defense.

You went with the traditional line up, huh:D

I like that line up better. If Towns was little more seasoned, I would def put him in place of duncan.

Yea well my lineup is just mainly for the 2nd unit. You need a guard to control the pace against livingston and leonard can lock of barbosa. everything else the talent is just there and higher
people not even appreciated the warriors havent' been fully healthy this entire year. whole starting five plus 4 on the bench have missed time due to injury. they're missing ezili right now..you think speights is supposed to be with the 2nd unit? he's a 3rd unit player playing 2nd unit minutes.
