DCs Legends of Tomorrow

Bro, Arrow has slowed down alot. But believe me when I say during season 1 and especially season 2 it was being titled amongst the best if not thee best comic-book TV show.

put arrow season one against any season of any superhero tv show and it kills them...

all these shows now better thank arrow for breathing life back into this shit after smallville jumped the shark around season 5 & killed all th possible spin-offs from that show...lol

ok, its improving. Next week should be good.

Damn, Legends and Flash took all of the good writers leaving Arrow in the cold. Nice episode good blend of comedy, action and some character depth and exploration.

Another nice episode! Can't wait for next week...

Next week's episode... is giving me chills. Reminds me of that amazing episode from Justice League Unlimited when they went to the future and just like I figured... Dude in hood is Connor Hawke.:yes:

He is black. He is got to be diggle's or Andy's kid?

Hmmmm... Didn't Andy have a son?
It's possible that is just someone that picked up the responsibility. But there are spoiler pics floating around that show Arrow with the beard.

Btw when did captain cold turn into the moralistic good guy? He talking about not stabbing his partners in the back yet whe he was in the flash he would kill his henchmen for not agreeing with him

I just looked at IMDB. Arrow is definitely in it and Conner is as well. I wonder if this is going to be a sort of Arrowverse Batman Unlimited type of shit. I'm all for that.

Captain Cold has always had a code. Especially in the comics. I think that's one of the reasons why they chose him for the show, because it would explain why he works with a team but still deep down is the same crook.

peace

Good reference
You are right.
Question for the acting brothers. How should be play the role? What is the comic character like?
Good question
Dude sounds like he's auditioning for Catwoman.
Simple answer
Take tell Eartha poster off the wall,
Go BACK In your closet
& keep it less cartoonish.
B4 we knew he was a mo on PrisionBreak
( good use of the reference in the last ep btw as I knew was on its way...),
his acting was more palpable & believable.
This shit.....:hmm:
Go back fathafucka....------>>>

Tonight’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow was a particularly fun one for fans of The CW’s sector of the DC Universe, as the titular squad spent the hour within the in-ruins city limits of Star City in the year 2046. There, we got a peek at one old face (complete with a beard) and two new faces, including that of Green Arrow 2.0Connor Hawke. But in a twist that was totally unexpected (despite everything being expected in this anything-goes universe), we learn that Connor Hawke wasn’t this vigilante’s given name at all. He was actually born John Diggle, Jr.

What the what? It looks like at some point in the years after Rip Hunter swooped everyone into his ship and took off on this time-skipping adventure, John and Lyla Diggle felt it was appropriate to start conceiving again to give Sara Diggle a younger sibling. And the product of said conception, an act which hopefully did not involve Diggle’s helmet, was apparently destined to carry on his father’s name and part of his father’s legacy. Only this guy doesn’t feel like he’s worthy of using Diggle as his surname, and he thus takes on the alter ego Connor Hawke, which sounds like a devastatingly under-thought pseudonym by a dim reincarnation of Hawkman.

Admittedly, this wasn’t the most jaw-flooring surprise, even when compared to otherLegends of Tomorrow shocks. But there’s still a strange mental exercise that happens when one processes how things have changed in a fictional world they’re invested in, and there’s something downright sad in comprehending Diggle dying at some point in the 30 years between our present day and Star City 2046. Now, this future likely won’t even come to being if the super crew does what they intend to do in taking down Vandal Savage, so it’s definitely not set in stone that Diggle and Lyla will still bring the second-generation Green Arrow into the world. Or that Oliver will end up needing his robotic arm.

All in all, it’s a pretty perfect way to spin this temporary storyline. While Connor Hawke is both Oliver’s Green Arrow successor and his son in the comics, we knew that couldn’t happen on the show thanks to all that secret son business happening on Arrow this season. So what better way to introduce this new hero than by tying him to one of Oliver’s closest compadres. It not only shows us that Team Arrow can prevail through anything, but also that all Oliver needed was to be told “You can do it,” in order to save the day.

And do it they did, as both Green Arrows took out nuevo Deathstroke and spoke of their intentions to continue building Star City back up to what it once was. Again, these guys probably won’t exist in the normal timeline, but at least we know they’re out there at some point in time, honoring the Diggle name by way of delivering justice. Now if Connor could just lend Oliver the Green Clippers.

Easy there partner...

U may want to rethink that.

Always, at least one. My thing has always been TV/Movies it doesn't matter. Just be grateful we can enjoy this stuff in this way. It shouldn't matter as a fan of the genre which studio delivers. For example I'm seeing EVERY LIVE-ACTION comic book movie this year and will enjoy all of them..

Deadpool down
BvS is up next and Civil war after that.

JJ, Daredevil down and I'll try to get back into Agents of Shield and CC
Can't wait for Luke Cage and well Iron Fist(argh...white boy!meh)

agreed but tical...Danny Rand was ALWAYS a white boy!

I don;t understand why everyone is upset about that it is EXACTLY to the history of the character.

He is SUPPOSED to be the white outsider who came in and stole the honor and that is why everyone there is so angry

(kinda like a snake Eyes storm Shadow situation)
