Has Anyone Ever Ate At A Famous Restaurant?

Pretty much stopped going down there because of those flash mobs. I felt the need to be the responsible one, because if a group of teenagers wanted to do the man dance, I probably would have killed one of them. It was better to avoid the bee's nest, then to go next to it hope you do not get stung.

I remember when they were doing that stupid shit too. Fuckin asshole kids.:angry::angry:

Ben's Chili Bowl is garbage!! And if you actually take a look at the chili you might rethink eating it. Now you go over to Ben's next Door and there's usually eye candy in there and their food is OK.

Gene's & Jude's or (sic: Gene & Jude's) is a popular and iconic hot dog stand in River Grove, Illinois founded in 1946 by Chicago city worker Gene Mormino. The stand is famous for its limited approach to the Chicago-style hot dog, its toppings departing from tradition by including only mustard, onions, relish, sport peppers and fresh cut French fries placed on top, known as a Depression Dog. The menu is limited to hot dogs, double dogs, tamales and fries, and, atypical of Chicago hot dog stands, lacks any trace of ketchup even for dipping the fries.

Pink's Hot Dogs is a landmark hot dog restaurant in the Hollywood district of the city of Los Angeles. Pink's was founded by Paul and Betty Pink in 1939 as a pushcart near the corner of La Brea and Melrose. As business grew, thanks to Betty's chili and the custom-made Hoffy-brand hot dogs with their natural casings, so did Pink's. The family built the current building in 1946 at 709 North La Brea.

My kids love this place and when family come from out of town we go there. They still sell Bubble Up.:yes::yes:

The Cozy Dog Drive In is a restaurant located at 2935 South Sixth Street in Springfield, Illinois which claims to be the first place to serve the corn dog. The claim states that the deep fried, battered hot dog on a stick was invented by Ed Waldmire Jr. and his friend, Don Strand while they were stationed at an Amarillo, Texas base in World War II.

Cafe Du Monde is good if you want a snack. They are known for the beignets. I'm not a coffee fanatic so I can do without it regardless. If your looking for a meal, don't waste your money. That location on Decatur is the main one and the best location cause they are always fresh due to the volume of people they serve consistently. Most of the restaurants in New Orleans are slightly average in my opinion because I come from a true creole cooking family and we know our shit when it comes to flavor and seasoning. I like the food at Dooky Chase (Don't let the name fool ya, food is good) My only complaint with them is the portion size. Mother's has pretty good Po-Boys, but I can get those damn near anywhere or make my own. To each his own, just my opinion personally...Bon Appetit.

ate at Café du Monde plenty times , overrated to me , them beignets aint all that, they make them shits too greasy now anyway, plus their prices are high

Yep they done lost their minds. I saw the recent menu prices an said WTF. I used to get a beignet plate with coffee for about 5 bucks. They trying to cater to tourists with those prices. I can really take it or leave it now.

Not really a famous restaurant, but more specifically popular & well-located. Hit up the Cheesecake Factory in Anaheim, CA in Oct. 2010. We were in town for the UFC (Cain Velasquez-Brock Lesnar) that weekend and Disneyland. The arena is about 25 - 30 mins from there on foot. Disneyland's a handful of blocks away. Anyway ... hit up the restaurant after 9pm on a weeknight. Place was entirely full (max occupancy of 408 - 420 people or something like that, as we had a laugh at the sign) and a good 20 - 30 people hanging around the lobby & just outside the front door waiting to be seated. Bu$ine$$ is good. $hiiiit!

I have not been to this place in a while but when I am in the Bay Area (Oakland) - I go here for Sunday Brunch - one of the best I have ever had anywhere and the ambience is worth it. The Claremont Club and Spa - and go to the Meritage Restaurant on the site.

Trust this is a really nice location for a brunch date
