White Manna (Hackensack). The diner has been at the site since 1946, and it is on the banks of the Hackensack River. From time to time, two local brothers will pull up to the small store via boat, much to the delight of the patrons.

Best sliders in the world.
Not to be confused with the Jersey City location, which is nowhere as good.

Phillipe Chow (Midtown Manhattan).

Better than good...Lesser than great (if that makes any sense)

.

On this List i've been to:
Sylvias: Just OK
Roscos: all of them: Pretty good
Juniors: Cheesecake was so so and food was below average

Also been to Glady's spot which was so so.

My girl and I started going to spots featured on Drivers Drive-Ins and Dives from Foodnetwork and rarely been disappointed. I love food and when retired,I want to watch a football game in every stadium and try famous restaurants in all those cities. Then turn around and do the same thing for Hoops.

oh really,, so jims is just as good?,, everytime i see pat or genos on tv, i get heated about that dude sending me to jims (although it was fire),, thanks for helping me scratch that off my "regret list"
Honestly, all three are terribly overrated.

You want a cheesesteak in that area go to Atlantic City to White House subs.

They make every order fresh and the bread is way better than that spongy shit they use in Philly.

Ate at Sylvia's in Harlem and was less than impressed. Then high-tailed it to Brooklyn for Junior's Cheesecake and it was whack. I learned you don't go to New York to eat!

Cool thread dont know how I missed it

I been to a few of these spots surprised no representative from chicago

Has anyone ever eaten at these famous restarants? How was the food?

I can't get with those Primanti Brothers sandwiches. Everytime I go to Pittsburgh for a Steelers game I avoid that place and just go to Jerome Bettis bar and grill instead.
