Top = Arsenal? :D :yes:
Can't tell what the bottom 1 is

As far as a pistol caliber carbine.. Y'all got me thinking I need one. But I don't know where to start. :dunno:

Anybody into grenade launchers? 40mm or 37mm?
Attached or dedicated?

I see a few for $300 but they go on ARs. One comes with 10 grenades

For the PCC, I go with dedicated 9mm AR. As for the launcher go to THIS site and read everything you can find there. I thought about a registered DD, but decided against it.........

Looks like a Micro Draco ^

And somebody tell me again the purpose of a pistol caliber carbine?

If I gotta have something bigger than a subcompact with ~10 rds, I want something hard hitting.
Now that I'm thinking about it, something like the Draco's, or AR pistol.

Why would you limit yourself to a pistol caliber when a rifle caliber is available in the same size, format, & capacity?

In my opinion there are times when rifle calibers are too much for a given defensive situation. In regard to target penetration or over penetration, distance versus CQB. For these reasons, I have both 9mm and 5.56 SBR's set up in the exact same configuration. As for AK and Ar pistols, in my experiences the luster wears off fast. You will realize something is missing..... well there is it's called a stock. Again in my experiences, to be accurate with shots on target consistently. The AR/AK weapon system needs to be shouldered. The same can be said about pistol gripped shotguns. Again all of this is based on my experience, so YMMV.....

Ok, gotcha. Makes perfect sense now. In situations where distance is not an issue, and maybe over penetration is, a pistol caliber will get the job done just fine and why not have the same capacity as a rifle, 30+ rds.

Now I want a few. the Scorpion Evo just looks fonky to me :smh:
My affinity for the Kriss Vector has come & gone.
Never been a fan of the Sub2000.

Iunno, what else is out there?

It is. AK-47 Micro Draco 7.62x39 by Century Arms. I'm seriously thinkin' about goin' arou da corner next week and gettin' myself one as a present if I can't find an AR-15 pistol.
Do dat shit, mane. They hard to shoot accurately past 50 yds, but they fun!
And it's a novelty to have, small ass AK that you can 1-hand

I put the drum on my M92 just for how ignant it look

Yeah, they say da AR-15 pistol more accurate. Is either practical tho'??? One shop rep said da AK in a home defense scenario would slice a wall in half. Folks act like they so hard to find but I know a few stores that keep 'em on deck. For da low to. Like 5 sum'n. I'll get a drum and change da handguard. That thang spit out them fireballs. They say da thing with drums is that they have a problem feeding sometimes.

I want a AR-15 pistol too, haven't shot 1 yet tho.
$430 for the m92
Practical? Ehh..Nawl not really. The blaze & bark too much to hide :itsawrap:
Only if you was in a firefight & didn't give a fuck about nobody knowing or in the deep country where you could buss & the nearest person is a few football fields away and through some woods.
Ain't no gettin away scott free with them AK pistols, unless you Usain Bolt'n.

The drums just heavy & awkward.
Man, I just pulled out a 73 rd drum vs. 2 40 rd mags. I got 2 fawty rd mags jungle taped together and they lighter than the drum, all fully loaded.

What you think about the KSG?

After talking to 2 other black guys, 1 with a ksg & the other wanting 1, now I'm thinking about it. Can't beat 14+1 in that compact frame.

I still want a Mossberg JM Pro 930, bitch hold 10+1

I slick kinda want me an UTAS too. That hoe big as fuck.

I have both the KSG and a UTAS. I like the KSG for what it is, would I trust my life to it.... If given a choice probably not. There are too many proven platforms to train with to bother with the "if" factor of the KSG. The UTAS I have never fired, so there's that LOL. Still can't beat the tried and true Remington 870 or 1100, Mossy 500, 590, or even the Saiga 12........

There's the 9mm version of the Kriss Vector, Sig MPX (gen 2 is supposed to support multiple caliber conversions), Glock Mag fed AR-15 pistol/carbine, Beretta CX-4...... I would still look at the EVO, there is an carbine version slated to be released 2nd quarter 2016.....

General, damn, what don't you got?! Wait, don't answer that.

I noticed you said Saiga 12... Saiga 12 vs. VEPR 12?

Also, what "ifs" are you referring to with the KSG? Any failures or malfunctions?

I'm good on all those carbines except maybe the Sig MPX, I still like the PS90 (and the FN Five seveN). I'll give the CX-4 & EVO another look.
I recently had someone show me their SIG 556XI. It had a folding stock and.... honestly I didn't know what I was looking at. He said it's the same model that the Swiss army or special ops use.

I don't own a VEPR 12 but, they are said to be solid.
Yes the IF's are related to "what if the tube selector lever breaks"?, "What if I get a FTF, FTE"? I wouldn't know what to do.
I do know what to do for most malfunctions related to my 870 and 500. I forgot about the PS90, I like mine enough. The only problem is ammo. It can be hard to find at times. The SIG 556 is a nice piece of kit. I don't have one in my collection, I've only finger banged one at my LGS......

5.7x28mm is available now. Stock up!
The FNH brand is going to basically run $30/box, but you can find the American Eagle brand for around $21/box or so.
I've even the FNH stuff on sale for around $25/box from time to time.

I love my PS90 with them 50 round magazines. Hey but I'm thinking the Pres. is gonna announce some gun control legislation at his upcoming and final state of the union address, resulting folks buying up everything and we won't be able to find shit.

Good thread.
I had the misfortune of going to grad school in D.C. and then living there for two years afterwards.
I basically couldn't bring more than a pop-gun into the city legally and they had an outright handgun ban, so I was forced to sell-off most of the guns I had built up. Even sold the stripped lowers.

Looking forward to rebuilding a modest collection and getting more heavily back into the hobby.

Anyone have any hands-on time with the new modular Sig P250 series?

I've had .40's before but 9mm ammo has improved so much its making the case for .40 (and the cost) look weaker.

I had a P250 chambered in .45acp. I also had the "X-Change kit" for 9mm. While the concept was/is a novel idea, in actuality (IMO) these suck. The P250 was one of SIG's first attempts at a poly framed FA, and it showed. The most glaring shortcoming (again IMO) was the trigger. Think of everything that makes a horrible trigger and multiply it by 2 (DOA, Long pull, heavy, gritty, and no discernable reset). Add to that the fact that there was no aftermarket support for it. That was enough for me to move it to the back of the gun safe and ultimately sell it.

With that said there were things that I liked about the P250. The Ex-Change kit was/is a great idea, not that the idea of caliber interchangeability is anything new but, it's great to be able to also change frame size at the same time. I also liked the ergonomics of the P250, the compact fit my hand very well. The fit and finish on the P250 were also very good out the box.

The most interesting aspect of the P250 (IMHO) was the removable fire control group, (which is the serialized portion of the FA). This allows the end user to own multiple calibers, with just one background check. The X-Change kits can be had for about $200. each (??), I think they are still available in .45acp, 9mm, .40S&W, and .357 SIG......

^^^thanks.
That is what intriguied me about the gun. The caliber swap capability, which you're right, isn't a new concept. Old range friend had a CZ with a cadet kit. The ergonomics looked very Colt 1911'ish which fit like a glove in my hands (I used to practice a lot of weak hand shooting just because.).
Sig has a great reputation in the duty world so I expected the gun to be squared away, but I am not happy to hear about the trigger and the other items you mentioned.

Perhaps I'll wait for a revision to be released or look at this Turkish gun that I'm beginning to see a lot of chatter about, Canik TPK9.

One thing I probably will never own is a Glock. Tried several. It never felt right in my hand. I didn't like the trigger much at all.
