2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

yup you have a better chance at beating them with limited possession and much like games 1 and 2 they fell into that trap. they played bogut too much. they walked up and down the court too much.

when they said screw it and sped up the pace in the finals it was a wrap
maybe kerr is a little more valuable than it seems.

That's all I have been saying when it comes to beating the Warriors. I'm not saying it's going to work all the time, but it's the best chance. Limited possessions.

has not improved his game at all.
fuck a jumper if he could do half the shit leonard can do in the post the thunder wouldn't be able to be fucked with especially adding canter

I was just telling my boy how Ibaka has become a freaking spot up shooter. Really? Centers becoming spot up shooters is just completely out my comprehension of the game.

Ibaka use to bang in the post.. Don't know wtf happened

ibaka never really been the type to get you 20 puts in the paint or around the basket. I guess when Harden left, he was forced to become the 3rd scorer. Especially when Durant was out last year, they needed more from him in scoring, but a spot shooter? :smh:

Ibaka needed to develop in to the third go to player for them to be a championship team. A player who could take the heat off Russ and KD. He hasn't. Instead he's remained a role player. Even when Russ and KD went out at different points, it became a one man team.

With his athleticism and skill set he should be a lot better. He should be a mismatch at his position. He should have developed where they can go small and play KD at the four and be able to put four 20 point scorers on the floor. Instead they have Adams or Kanter out there.

That's always been the book but you have to hope they play into that because they never really have to play into that. Their defense is such that they create turnovers enough to run. They run early offense enough to run it. They shoot it and rebound it well enough to run it at all times. So it's always a case of them slowing it down as opposed to the other team dictating things.

yup that's why i didn't like that anthony davis video with him shooting 3's and everyone is like uh oh watch out if he's hitting 3's and im like no that's just fucking stupid. he's 7ft tall he don't need to shoot 3's that don't help the team cause he ain't handling the ball and shooting he gotta spot up.

he ain't even master a post move yet and shooting 3's like he's tim duncan down there? honestly towns is more advanced in the post at this point than anthony davis it but davis trying to shoot the j. dominate where you supposed to dominate first.

When KD and Russ were both out he was a non-factor and the team was trash like he wasn't even on it.

Nigga discovered he had a decent jumper now you can't find him in the post at all

Used to lead the league in blocks and shit

Instead he wants to be a stretch 4 when really they need him banging down low

Should've been working with Hakeem or some shit instead clearly him and KD having shooting contests in practice or some shit

FOH

Yea the Cavs understand that and do a good job of it...just have to limited turnovers and hit free throws....I ain't trying on the miss shots as much

Towns isn't even versatile enough to be that type of jump shooter. He is definitely limited, early in his career. Davis has so much skill set that his coaches think he should be good at everything instead a master at his best, most dominate skill. so I agree with ya. History tells us that dominate big men were the toughest to stop. With Davis skill set, he should be throwing that sky hook, lol.

No I was saying Towns on the inside not vs everywhere else.

Davis should be getting 29 a night on the blocks and dominating the paint every night on both ends of the floor. he don't need to be a stretch NOTHING. he should be a force that you just accept he'll get 30 and try to limit everyone else.

Shit seem like the Cavs might be still in Oakland cause they damn sho ain't in Portland

1st qt
Cavs - 12
Trailblazers - 34

With 7 turnovers and first play of the 2nd Jefferson turnovers the ball over

Can someone explain to me how the completely healthy Cavs are getting their asses roasted by 30 by an undermanned Blazers team? Oh... I forgot, LeBron is playing for June
