James Harrison benching 405

Thats some of the most impressive shit ive seen in the gym in a very long time.
How much you think h weighs? For his size that is impressive. I remember Nepoloen Kauffman the one that played for the Washington Huskies was benching close to 500
 
He was benching 405 with reps. He can do more than 405.

I could do 400 at one point when I cared about that.
 
Cats underestimate repping out 225. This is how i got my bench up quick. If you cant rep out 225 for 4 or 5 sets of 15 then you dont need to add more weight. Plus repping out 225 will have your body ripped as hell.
 
Thats big boy weight, no need for that if you are not playing football imo. 405 is not that much at his level, let alone most college linebackers. Props that he is damn near 40 pushing that. I'll stick to 15 reps of 225.

At his weight he should be pushing more weight. It is a ratio of weight to bench press weight. Anything exceeding 2x is freakish.


Very impressive..stopped doing heavy flat bench since i fucked up my ligments and AC joint going too heavy...most i ever did was 405 for 5 reps just like james just did

I only mess with dumbells and inclines now..still get pains in my shoulders doing it..need to do some physio and A.R.T

fast track chest gains comes from top level tension which means alot of cable bench presses, dumbells too

A football player should be working on their contraction muscles such as lat pull down, row machine, or specialize equipment targeting these muscles which they use to tackle people. I doubt you will push a RB down. Especially coming from behind

You are grabbing people and spinning them down to the ground. You want to be like an anaconda, squeezing your victim to death

I benched 285 in the 11th grade. When I finally got some pussy, working out, eating right, and trying to get a scholarship were the least of my concerns :smh: Oh well I could of been the next superstar.

I feel hella weak. I remember trying to hit 135 with no collars on. I ended up tipping the bar and both th 45's slid off. :(

Don't feel bad bro, eight years after I benched 285 the same thing happened to me trying to bench 225. I felt like :suicide:
