2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

Not hating, I think Walton is smart(very) but Im just saying when you have a team to coach like GS, well it makes life a little easier:yes:

True You know Phil had an easy ride. I'm happy for Curry, Draymond, Barbosa etc. Curry comes from great family stock. He's shining the light on normal black folks. His Parents are the real Mvps! Its sad he don't get hood love like KD but fuck it.

Sometimes our own people hate on us for dumb reasons...

It kinda seems like the west is/was overrated with whats going on with the Clips, NO, Houston, and Memphis; So who is seriously gonna challenge the Warriors in the west???

And the East seems more competitive then I would have thought with the way Detroit, Knicks and Celtics are playing; So do u guys think any of the east teams will actually challenge the Cavs???

From what Ive seen GS is the best team by far and I dont see them losing at all in any series

The only team that could challenge them in the west is the Spurs and right now SA just doesn't have the fire power. They have the size to dominate, but they are lacking at the moment trying to adjust to this new team. If GS match up with the Spurs, it will like be the last of the traditional style basketball we'll see in the NBA. SA is giving the traditional PF/center combination its last "how-ra". Small ball is taking over the league and GS is proving that it can work consistently.

The east is very competitive and is great for the NBA. The east has a lot of ballers and Im glad to finally see this shift in the league. The west teams are acting light some bitches right now.

Don't over look Miami... The Bosh/Whiteside combo

Warriors lakers next. You think Kobe got one more game in him. If he don't play another day he need to lay it on the line that night. Carried out on a stretcher. And his career will be fulfilled. Protect mms record especially if he ain't do it:lol:

I concur with the shift; But GS doesnt struggle with big teams thats a misnomer; Actually I think teams are more competitive with them when teams can match them playing small; GS handles big teams fairly easy; And the funny thing is GS only plays small towards the end of games; Otherwise Bogut or Festus is on the court; People just think they playing small because Green can run the offense...

Miami is way to slow to keep with GS; Plus Whiteside would never be an issue because he would have to come out on the perimeter and GS will just shoot jumpers; Nah Miami wont give them no issues fam...

Green is their PG, playing that Pippen role finding the open man or taking his guy to the hoop if he's being played straight up. I don't think you can outscore or outsmallball Golden State, you have to outsize them, slow the tempo, and defend to beat them.

I feel what you are saying, but they play in the halfcourt also; They run a version of the motion, princeton, triangle, danantoni offense all together; Their only weakness on offense is they really dont get to the free throw line as much; but slowing the game down wont affect them; If teams are allowed to beat them up and refs dont call fouls, that will work; otherwise slowing the game wont matter...

To think about beating G.S. you have to have the following..

1- A deep bench,
2- A good half court game..
3- Guards who can score forcing the Splash brothers to play both sides of the ball..
4- Good re-bounders (the Warriors kill teams off the glass and 2nd chance points)
5- Hustlers who can get to those 50/50 balls
6- Scoring guards who can capitalize once Curry hits the bench... Many time his back up outscores who ever comes in to face him, forcing the starter to come off the bench earlier while Curry gets the full rest..
7-Players who can attack the paint..
8- Outside shooters who can pop in the pick and roll
9- A tough team that can set tough picks and bump Curry and Thompson around..
10- A finisher, someone who can hit the big shot matching the scoring power of G.S.

If you don't have these ten things, good luck in tying to keep up with them..

Ok sounds about right :lol: now what team has that????:lol:

I must add, just because you have all those things doesn't automatically means you will beat them, it just means you at least match up to them and stand a chance of matching up on the court..

Well if you look at a healthy Cavs teams they match up very well... Especially with deep guards and a deep bench..

Not the question sir; Not asking who matches up well with GS; I would like for you to name the teams that have what you listed earlier...

Well the Cavs and Warriors both stacked up their line ups for each other.. But as for who else matches up vs the Warriors, well the Spurs can, but the big if, is If Parker and Ginobili can turn back the clock for a game or two..
OKC on paper can do some things, but in reality they are not deep enough or disciplined enough... The Bulls with Rose having a good game can do some things.. But at the end it would be shocked if any other teams can beat out either the Cavs or the Warriors..
The one wild card would be if S.A. makes a trade getting some outside help and help from the guard position..

Russell Westbrook will you okc ain't ready. The only noise d rose is making with his wheelchair or post game crying about more money to setup his family with.

Don't know what you are trying to say about OKC but with Rose and Brooks, the Bulls may have beaten G.S. if they played especially if they were playing in Chicago instead..

Just a testament to the start of the season they're having. talking about a team could have beat them because they're undefeated.

teams having trouble beating them once. gonna be hell trying to beat them 4 times.

no predictions, just throwing that out there.

So let me make sure i understand; You are saying that the Bulls, Cavs, Spurs, OKC have everything on that list, that you created, right???:lol:..Im just trying to figure it out because from the list, that once again you created, none of these teams, that again you gave, have all thats on the list; as a matter fact, none of the teams, that you gave, have even half of whats on the list...

No if you go back to what I said, I said there are barely a few teams that come close to what it takes to beat the Warriors... Now they can beat them if everything works out right.. For example the Bulls could have beaten the Warriors with a productive Rose especially if it was played at Chicago... As far as OKC goes, with Durant and Westbrook healthy, they always have a punchers chance at beating anyone... All it takes is for them to have a monster game and the rest of the players step up.. However they are shallow at the guard position so asking them to beat the Warriors in a series is a tall order to muster up.. The same can be said about S.A. right now, but their success largely depends on how much in the tank Parker and Manu has... Right now I can see them winning a few games tops in a series, however the right trade can potentially change things dramatically..
As for the Cavs, it appears they have modified their team specifically for the Warriors and once fully healthy should be, by far the greatest challenge for G.S. Remember the Warriors may be a better regular season team and should cruse through the season, perhaps breaking the Bulls record.. But none of that would mean a thing until they meet up with the one team that has all the parts to beat them...
On the other side of the coin the Warriors have made subtle changes in their line up making matching them up better with Cleveland, so at the end of the day its going to be about execution and strategy, mainly who can make the better adjustments... Either way its going to be a hell of a ride...
